Skill Extraction: Exploring Dungeons

Chapter 352 Time Passing

"Goodbye, Philis. I'll find you next time to play again."

A small, emerald-green Elf fluttered her transparent, dragonfly-like wings, waving farewell.

Not far from where she waved, Philis was also waving.

"Okay, Philis, take care."

Next to the two little fellows, Kane also waved goodbye to Amis and the others as they turned towards the Teleportation Station.

Today was the day Amis and the others were leaving Furnace Castle. Kane brought Philis to bid them farewell, looking forward to their next meeting.

This time, Amis and the others said they had played for long enough, and since there hadn't been any battles in the Dungeon, it was time to get ready for the next phase of exploration.

"Kane, hurry and take me to buy some items; I have some materials I want to purchase."

After saying goodbye to Philis, Philis casually sat on Kane's shoulder and said.

Hearing Philis' words, Kane nodded and said, "Sure, but we'll have to wait until the afternoon, as I need to visit the Mechanical Association today."

It wasn't long after Kane and the others had finished exploring the Dungeon that the local chapter of the Mechanical Association was completed. Kane often visited the Mechanical Association to discuss mechanical subjects with the people there.

Philis didn't mind this at all. She had accompanied Kane to the Mechanical Association a few times and found the items inside quite interesting, so she didn't dislike it and was even somewhat looking forward to it.

Kane, with Philis on his shoulder, walked down the streets of Furnace Castle. Even though there weren't as many Alien Race individuals on the street as there were during the Beer Festival, there were still significantly more than usual.

This was all thanks to the appearance and promotion of the Eternal Victory Battlefield.

Especially after the Mist Council identified it as a permanent Dungeon. Almost every slightly larger Guild or organization would establish a branch here, dispatching people periodically to rotate through, becoming observers and recruiting new members.

All organizations and Guilds were aggressively recruiting people. Many who knew a bit of the truth understood what preparations were being made for, but most were unaware of the truth. Yet among them were quite a few clever ones who sensed something was off and followed along with the preparations.

Walking through the streets for a distance, they could see an area with construction happening all around.

All of these were newly constructed buildings, and many completed structures already bore the names and banners of various associations.

It was said that this area had been given to these associations by the Elder Council, specifically for each association to build branches here.

Of course, the Mechanical Association was among the first batch of associations to move in.

Each chapter's architectural style seemed different, and the Furnace Castle's Mechanical Association, though welded from various steel scraps, resembled a shaping hammer.

As Kane arrived at the association's entrance, a somewhat rudimentary assembled robot was sweeping the entrance with a broom.

It seemed to sense Kane and turned its head, emitting a mechanical voice: "Good morning, Master Kane!"

As Kane passed by, he knocked on its iron head, producing a banging sound.

"Good morning to you too, Number 13."

"Why didn't you greet me? Ironhead," Philis fluttered her wings, flying in front of Number 13 and asked.

Number 13 stood in place, scanned Philis with its eyes: "Good morning to you too, lovely Miss Philis."

"Hehe, you too,"

After hearing Number 13's words, Philis returned to Kane's shoulder, content.

The last time Number 13 greeted Philis, it hadn't included the "lovely" prefix, which Philis had insisted the council members modify.

Kane pushed open the association's door and entered.

"Master Kane."

"Good morning, Master Kane."

"Master Kane, your proposal last time was very correct, and based on your suggestions, I've managed to complete a prototype. If you have time, perhaps you can have a look."

Hearing this as he greeted the association members, Kane walked over immediately.

Standing before him wasn't a human, but a small Dwarf, a gnome.

Gnomes were a very talented Race in the field of mechanics.

"Lava, you're making a prototype so quickly; bring it out and let me take a look. I'm quite curious."

Lava was the gnome in front of him, who often exchanged mechanical knowledge with Kane in their previous meetings.

Kane knew he was designing an interesting reconnaissance machine, so he occasionally gave suggestions to him.

Unexpectedly, this time he had completed the prototype.

Upon hearing that Lava had a prototype, many association members gathered around.

"Don't rush, make some space." After saying this, Lava pulled out a pitch-black box from his Space Equipment.

Then he opened the box.

Inside was the mechanical prototype he had created.

A disk-shaped object, with obvious Magic Patterns on it.

It seemed not fully assembled, as the mechanical structure inside and the central Energy Core could be seen from the outside.

Lava took the disk out and placed it on the ground, then took a bracelet from the side of the black box and put it on his hand.

"Friends, watch closely."

After saying this, Lava waved his hand, and as his fingers moved, the patterns on the disk began to Flash with a blue light, lifting from the ground.
