Reborn as the Vampire Prince at Server Start, I am Invincible

Ch. 27

A Wonderful World

Gu Yanxi was very measured. Before the four men, itching for a fight, could close in, she had already let go of Chen Zixuan's hand and stepped back a few paces.

With her frail body, she would be of no use in a fight; it was better to stand back and give Chen Zixuan plenty of room to maneuver.

At this moment, blondie had already come right up to Chen Zixuan and raised his fist.

Just then, Chen Zixuan's gaze sharpened.

He vaguely felt that, in his eyes, blondie's movements seemed to slow down significantly.

With his reaction speed, all he needed to do was retreat half a step to easily dodge this punch filled with flaws.

However, Chen Zixuan did not move. With a thud, blondie's fist landed squarely on his chest.

Chen Zixuan took a small step back.

Gu Yanxi hurriedly took two steps forward, looking at him anxiously.

"Are you alright?"

"I'm fine."

Chen Zixuan smiled, glancing toward the camera not far away, pointed right at them.

Who started the fight, the cameras should have already caught it all.

Seeing that Chen Zixuan neither dodged nor blocked, blondie was immediately triumphant. He turned to his companions and said, "See that? This kid's scared stupid."

However, green-haired one's face suddenly turned to one of terror, and before blondie could react, Chen Zixuan's fist smashed hard into the side of his face.

Blondie staggered back several steps, grunting in pain. Just as he tried to straighten and fight back, a dark shadow closed in on him like a ghost.

Chen Zixuan reached out with his right hand, grabbing blondie by the throat, while his left fist clenched and shot out lightning-fast from below, striking blondie's right rib.

The angle he chose was quite tricky—an ordinary person without systematic training would find it hard to guard that spot.

Most people might not know, but the liver is right there, and a heavy blow to that area would cause excruciating pain instantly and sap one's will to fight.

With his wealth of brawling experience, Chen Zixuan knew that if you wanted to fight many at once, besides preventing yourself from being flanked, taking out the opponent's numbers quickly by causing injury was also an excellent tactic.

Reeling from the blow, blondie opened his mouth and let out a screech like a slaughtered chicken, his voice harsh and grating.

But as soon as he started screaming, Chen Zixuan's hand at his throat tightened, cutting off the cry and forcing it back down.

With a strong push, Chen Zixuan knocked blondie to the ground. He curled up tightly, clutching his throat, and moaned in agony.

All this happened in a lightning flash—less than five seconds had passed, and of the four, the most dangerous-looking blondie had been dispatched by Chen Zixuan's thunderous method.

Only then did the remaining three react.

Green-haired one rushed forward seeking revenge, while the other two hesitated, trapped between flight and fight.

In Chen Zixuan's eyes, green-haired one was just too slow.

Green-haired one jumped up for a flying kick, but Chen Zixuan dodged with ease, kicking him in the side of the waist in return.

Under his own inertia, green-haired one flew out, crashing into a row of parked bicycles and causing them to fall with a loud 'clang clang clatter'.

The last two, seeing how fearsome Chen Zixuan was, finally realized they had kicked a steel plate.

Terror turned their legs to jelly.

Chen Zixuan couldn't care less if they were scared.

He looked at one of them coldly and said, "You're next. Come here and take your beating."

"Uh... No... Brother... Sister-in-law, I didn't know... I'm sorry! I couldn't see who you were! I was blind and didn't recognize greatness when I saw it... I was wrong... Let me off—please..."

The one he pointed out immediately shivered, lowering his head and stammering, not daring to meet Chen Zixuan's eyes.

All that earlier bluster had vanished; now he was meek as a grandson.

Go up and get beaten? What a joke!

Blondie was still on the ground, green-haired one was probably nursing his back and hadn't managed to get up from the bike pile, just lying there like a dead man.

The two best fighters were down instantly—what could those two left possibly do?

Chen Zixuan shifted his gaze to the fourth man, "Then how about you? You take his beating."

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry..."

The man Chen Zixuan picked wore a T-shirt that read "Little Bro," but now he was bowing and nodding so much, and not even daring to speak up, that he really seemed like just that—a little bro.

Chen Zixuan gave the two cowards a contemptuous glance, then turned to Gu Yanxi: "How should we deal with these two?"

Gu Yanxi, knowing how good Chen Zixuan was at fighting, wasn't especially surprised.

Seeing their absolute advantage, she stepped up with her hands at her waist, her pretty face frosty, and said coldly, "I heard him cursing me earlier."

She pointed straight at the one in the "Little Bro" shirt.

"In that case, let's teach them both,"

Chen Zixuan replied, not even asking who exactly it was, and strode toward them.

"Little Bro" hurriedly hugged his head, forgetting to defend his lower body, and was immediately tripped by Chen Zixuan with a sweep of the leg.

The final man, seeing this, tried to charge up using some wild punches, but Chen Zixuan just kept his distance and kicked him down as well.

Gu Yanxi had never seen such a fun sight. Watching "Little Bro" hit the ground, she lifted the hem of her white dress and hurried over, giving him several more kicks.

By now, many passersby near the barbecue shop had noticed what was going on, crowding around—some had even pulled out their phones to record.

Loving a spectacle was a national trait, but Chen Zixuan did not want him and Gu Yanxi to hit the top of tomorrow's trending topics.

"Stop fighting! Let's go, quickly."

Seeing Gu Yanxi still going at "Little Bro"'s arm enthusiastically, Chen Zixuan rushed over, grabbed her soft little hand, and the two of them ran off in another direction.

They dashed across two streets, and only after making sure they weren't being followed did Chen Zixuan let go of her hand, the two stopping to catch their breath.

Only those very close would know that Gu Yanxi suffered from mild asthma and couldn't handle intense physical activity.

Chen Zixuan, of course, knew—but if they got married in the future, he'd have to be gentler every night.

The girl's body was just too fragile; she couldn't take the strain.

Sure enough, once she stopped, Gu Yanxi bent over, gasping for air, looking quite distressed.

Chen Zixuan grew worried and was about to check on her, but Gu Yanxi quickly waved him off, signaling she would be fine after a short rest.

Under the dim streetlight, the girl stood slightly bent over, her face lowered, the evening breeze lifting the white hem of her dress.

Her face blushed pink, her brows were gently furrowed, her pretty face shrouded in some unspoken melancholy.

Chen Zixuan's gaze swept across and suddenly landed on the snowy expanse of her skin revealed at the neckline of her white dress.

At that moment, the world seemed to freeze. He found that, for a while, he simply couldn't look away...

That fight was definitely worth it.
