I will strive beyond this cursed bloodline!

Chapter 86: HOW LONG IS THIS GODDAMNED WEDDING?!?!?!?

The dancing carried on for a couple of hours till Elizabeth got tired of people moving away while they danced. So Elizabeth walked back to the top of the stairs, as she did so. Then, as they arrived at the top, the space was warped to accommodate a new table with three chairs, and besides them, another table materialized with two chairs.

One for Rossie, Rena and Elizabeth, and another for Mother and Papa. Of course none of the five actually needed to eat anymore. But even so, there was something to be said about eating good stuff. And eating and cutting the wedding cake was a tradition.

"If any of you wish to continue dancing the orchestra will continue playing, but we will eat and cut the cake in the meantime." Elizabeth addressed the peasants, that is to say, their invitees. "A slice of cake will be delivered to your respective tables if you ask one of the waiters, so do enjoy your time here."

And with that done, Elizabeth snapped her fingers and a wave of mana spread around, it was done mostly as a way to signal the kitchen so they would prepare for this. Elizabeth had not heard about them, but apparently Jenna had set up everything while she was expending valuable family time with Rena and Rossie.

Before sitting, however, Elizabeth had an issue to solve.

"So..." The Black Elizabeth said, "Which one should we keep?"

"Why do you even ask when we already know," The White Elizabeth answered, "I am this much of a drama queen?"

"Of course, and it was fun, was it not?" The Black Elizabeth said smirking at the White Elizabeth.

"Yes, it was, well... Not like it matters to me," The White Elizabeth shrugged as she turned into white particles of mana and fused with the black Elizabeth.

"That it was," Elizabeth said as she patted herself down to make sure everything was in order, it was of course, she had practiced for this... "Let's cut the cake Rossie, Rena."

And so they did, there was a cute scene where Elizabeth gave each a piece of cake, and then they messed around with said cake, giving each other cake and whatnot.

Papa and Mother got a piece of the cake they had, and a few people noticed waitress carrying cake plates so some turned to their tables leaving very few people still dancing.

At no moment had [The Traveler], the italians, [The Elementalist] and [The Beast Master] make a move to dance.

Amelia and Lily had danced with each other a few minutes and then sat in their own table, Elizabeth had offered them a table up here, but they had declined, saying that it would ruin the aesthetics...

"Ask Amelia and Lily if they want to come up here," Elizabeth asked one of the waitresses who had come to their table to give them their plate of food.

"At once Mistress." The waitress answered, Why was that the waitress that were serving them all had pink hair and blonde stripes on them?

Actually, Elizabeth knew that one...

"Isn't she...?" Elizabeth said turning to Rossie.

Who only blushed slightly and nodded while answering, "Yes... one of our classmates, she is the one who won the raffle to serve as our waitress..." Then pointed at another spot on the far end. To the place where Rossie's parents were seated, "They are also the ones to serve the VVIP and VIP areas."

"So... we do know people who are working here? Why didn't they come as guests?" Elizabeth asked confused, not that she had made that many memories with them, she barely remembered the people that attended class with her, morem so thanks to the fact that Elizabeth barely attended class, perhaps a month or two per year?

And that was for the first grade, she didn't get to spend time with her classmates in the first year, the second year half of it was spent in a coma and the other half training for the tournament at the end of the year...

And third? Well, third was spent training with Jenna, learning more about her powers and then screwing Rossie and Rena... Also getting screwd by time shenanigans, that bit was important.

It was a wonder that she even managed to graduate, not that anyone could complain, the school wanted their graduates to be B-Tier at the least and A-Tier if possible. And Elizabeth was S-Tier.

They had no place to complain!

"Are you accepting visits? Miss Starbright? Msises Starbright?" Then, before Elizabeth could continue being lovey-dovey with her wives, the Mayor of the American Federation came to speak with them.

At some point there was a line forming on the stairs, Elizabeth... had thought this could happen, but when Papa and Mother descended she had thought they wouldn't do something like this.

Her previous plan was to impose fear and awe with her strategy of pummeling all the [Nine Stars] that dared to fight her.

But without that aspect, and with the knowledge that Papa and Mother had moved from Zaanam as gods... Well, people could get stupid.

"Hello Elizabeth, last time I saw you was before you went to the MPI in your previous birthday party, remember?" Said the Mayor of The American fedeartion.

Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.

"I do, of course, remember Uncle Malcon." Elizabeth answered cheekily, "You brought the cake and set up the decorations all over the house."

"...Yes...Uncle Malcon..." The Mayor didn't seem to like how Elizabeth had phrased it, but then again, Elizabeth could see it, the man did not want to his life as a messenger and butler, not that Elizabeth would make him do that.

"What can I do for you?" Elizabet hasked as she toyed with the steak on her plate, since Papa was around, the food that got served was more pointed towards Papa's tastes.

Rena didn't mind what she ate and Rossie only really wanted to eat a very specific thing, and she couldn't eat that in public... Or well, Elizabeth wouldn't let her eat that in public anyway.

"It isn't what you can do for me, but what I can do for you." Malcon said with a grin, "We can have you married within the next five minutes if you just sign this."

The man put a folder in front of Elizabeth, but the blonde girl didn't even bother reading it, she could already imagine what it would say.

"I assume it's a pledge to become a loyal citizen and work for the state?" Elizabeth asked with a smirk of her own, "And I guess the people in the lane behind you have similar documents?"

"More likely than not, but ours will the more generous, more so since I have known you since you were a little girl, we will take good care of you. Besides, this is more of a formality, you are, after all. A proud American." Malcon said turning his eyes towards Papa, "Just like your father was [The American Crusader] you can start your new life as a proud household name, perhaps as... [The Lady Paladin of America]?"

That... sounded so wrong.

"I will apologize," Elizabeth said picking up the folder and returning it back, "But I will refuse, there is no power within The American Federation that will make me willingly submit to your authority."

"...." The Mayor for his part didn't seem surprised, "You sure about this? You may remember me as your uncle, but I am a leader of a nation. I must think of my citizens' safety."

"Am I not your citizen?" Elizabeth asked, smirking once more, "Convenient, please do send the documents where you remove my nationality... if you dare."

Elizabeth knew they wouldn't, ever, under any circumstance, it was the only link they had over her that no other nation had. Why would they go and break it by themselves?

Elizabeth was not the one that needed this, more so now than ever.

"We shall speak again at a later date," The Mayor said walking away, clearly not taken the folder with him. "You may keep that, and see how it is a better trade. Now that I have my memories of your family, doubly so."

Yeah, it was quite loose, they didn't ask much, the only thing that they actually wanted to have respected above all, would be a promise bound by Elizabeth's Origin that she would never subjugate the American Federation or their leaders. Which seemed to imply that he was preparing for Elizabeth being able to outlive him.

Just like Papa and Mother had done.

The next one to come forward was the Emperor of Germania. The man didn't seem like someone who was coming to a wedding, but instead looked like someone who was going into a war.

"Elizabeth Starbright," Emperor Leopold said, "This is our offering, our nation is in dire need of new defenders, and we know you have helped us before.

The folder he offered included mana readings and some evidence of Alice and Chloe's adventure in Germania territory, with the fight against [The Shadow Tide] at the end.

"A new law will be passed within two weeks of you signing this contract, it will officialyl recognize you as a married woman to one of these girls, the other will have the legal title of consort, we aren't able to change the rules to allow poligamy in a short notice, but the law will be ammened within my reign, that I can promise you." The man was... generous.

He offered money, residence and even some pardon for murdering a couple hundred people per year, with bonus to that number that could grow permanently with each political opponent Elizabeth disposed of, and doubled again if she could provide proof that they were political oppositors to the public with evidence that couldn't incriminate the current Emperor.

Again, the contract didn't have a time limit, so they all had to include something like this, huh...

It, however, clearly stated that Elizabeth would never have access to any political power, or could aid any revolutionary movement, also she couldn't leave Germania without permission, no matter the reason.

"We will think about it." Elizabeth said putting the folder to the side.

"You do that," The Emperor said nodding at her, "And congratulations, again. My country may not approve of this relationship, but we aren't stupid enough to ignore the whims of those at the peak of power."

...Right.

After him came the monarch of Britannia, "Congratulations, girls," Queen Victoria Anne said, nodding at them, "And thank you for letting me see my stupid brother."

"... You're welcome?" Elizabeth said as her head turned ever so slowly to [The Beast Master], still standing beside the same chair, a plate of food at his left with cake and a drink. The chair was empty, as the Shogun was behind the Queen of Britannia. "You don't have a proposal?"

"Why would I?" The Queen asked smugly, "Not like you are planning to accept whatever those old men say, right? You will just do your thing, just as your Father and Mother did. Did you know she descended in Britannia?"

"She did?" Elizabeth asked surprised.

"Yes, the Original Magical Girls and Mages come from Britannia, even if the Izanami Taoists claim otherwise." The Queen said shrugging, "Just send a letter when you decide to come to Britannia, we don't mind harems and same sex marriage by the way. No way we could, not when we are the country that birthed magic. Hah!"

And like that the woman left, the man behind her didn't seem to be annoyed or angry at that.

"Greetings [Stardust Weaver], [Sylphie Starheart] and [Demon Slaying Sword]." [The Elementalist] said, or well, Oda Ryuuji, "You didn't come to visit us."

"We were busy," Elizabeth answered, the man's eyes were smiling, but his attitude? Not so much, "We are still planning our honeymoon. We could go still, unless you have rescinded your offer?"

"As if," [The Elementalist] said placing a wooden token and a talisman on the table, "Bring these when you do come, since you are now more powerful our wards will try to react and seal some of your powers."

"...This is so we aren't sealed?" Elizabeth asked eyeing the objects.

"No, these are so the wards know to ignore you." [The Elementalist] answered, "We learned many things when trying to deal with your... parents' adventures, we took almost twenty years to develop these, and even then, they never cared enough to carry these with them. We seeded their mana into the wards so it would ignore them... But the wards are old, if you would be so kind to use these... We don't want to have to scrounge for mana samples to add to the ward, again."

"Okay," Elizabeth said sending both objects into her [Garage], she would take her time later to study them.

"All I can ask for," [The Elementalist] said nodding, "And as Victoria said, we understand that you will do whatever you want in the end. If you decide to settle within Izanami... We can grant you a royal title, so that will allow you to have your own harem and a palace in the sacred city, no one will bother, but we will require you to also defend the city, Joseph will give you more information on that, should you accept."

And like that the man walked away.

So far Elizabeth had... mostly good deals honestly.

"Starbright," Then came the leader of Zarevia, "Sign this."

The man just threw a contract at her. Elizabeth arched an eye at the man, and after looking at the contract she couldn't help but laugh.

"....?" The man didn't seem to understand the reason for her laugh.

The contract came with extra data, information on what the actual plans of the other powers was. What the American Federation planned, and how they would attempt to drain her power slowly across a couple of centuries, how Izanami would attempt to get her to have the son of the Shogun, how Germania would use her as a way to annex the other nearby powers.

How Zarevia (The country that gave her this data) would use this as a way to earn her favor and use her more stealth abilities to blackmail the S-Tier powerhouse that hadn't registered publicly to the world. And how this was the best possible outcome she could take.

"You will need to sign with someone if you wish to legally marry." The man stated, "We are the only ones who would willingly tell you the truth, we value trust. Even if we are a country enshrouded in darkness."

"Right... You also are a country that lost their only public S-Tier," Elizabeth said nodding, [ShadowPact]... Was a Shadow of his past, pun intended.

"Thank you for the honesty, any reason you didn't include Veritalis?" Elizabeth said putting the contract and extra data at the side.

The man said nothing and walked away.

"Thought so!" Elizabeth screamed at the man as he left.

And with that, the last people on the line came forward, the High Priestess and The Pope, Lucia Di' Medici and Giovanni Di'Medicci.
