Chapter 241 – A deserved treat

Sophia told the mayor of Agola about her portals and the plan of connecting his city with the capital, so they'd be able to travel between those places in an instant. To make things easier to understand, or at least faster, she then simply opened a portal to the capital to show Noah what was going on and urged him to go through and meet Menzor.

"Should we go check on the boat situation?" Sophia looked at Anna and Ari, who had all returned to Agola after bringing Noah to Menzor and setting up another portal between their offices, allowing the mayor to return on his own once they were done.

"I think that's a great idea." Ari nodded a few times. "I don't think Maya's enough to stop Steph and Chloe from buying something ridiculous."

"I hope it's something fun~." The blonde smiled at her. "It's twice as good if I'm not the one responsible and thus can't be blamed for it."

"You broke the common sense and worldview of at least six people today, so you definitely deserve a break, yes." The jaguar stared at her.

"Hey!" She didn't like that. "While not necessarily wrong, I was on my best behavior today! I actually tried to explain stuff and didn't completely break them from the get-go like I usually do."

"Mhmm." Ari needed to let that sink in first. "Well, compared to usual, you definitely have a point. Actually, while I'm not entirely sure about the merchant, the conversation with the mayor was pretty good. You might even have made Menzor's job the tiniest bit easier."

"Good enough for me!" Sophia lightly clapped her hands. "For that, I deserve a slightly extravagant boat as a treat, so I hope Steph did well!"

"Knowing your sister, she definitely did~." Anna smiled at her fellow tiger. Judging by her expression, she was also looking forward to something fun.

Hoping for the best, according to the tigers, or the worst, if Ari's concerned, the trio went to the docks to see how Steph, Chloe, and Maya were doing with their quest.

"Ah, they're back!" Chloe, Steph, and Maya were having lunch at the same food stand they had eaten at the day before, when the fox-girl spotted the trio walking up to them.

"I thought you were looking for a boat?" Sophia tilted her head.

"Maya and I already found the perfect one!" Steph smiled at her before eating another bite of her battered fish, which she loved so much.

"You and Maya…?" Hearing that, Ari raised an eyebrow. "Did you find a floating sex dungeon?"

"THOSE ARE A THING?!" The dog-girl's eyes grew wide as her tail began to wag even harder.

"Should we look at more boats, after all?!" Maya sounded just as excited about that.

"We better!" She vigorously nodded in agreement.

"You tell me to be less ridiculous, but then recommend them getting a floating sex dungeon at the same time." Sophia slowly shook her head while looking at the jaguar. "What's up with those double standards?!"

"It's indeed rather unfair that only you can be unhinged." Anna nodded a few times while feeling sympathetic for her fellow tiger.

"It was NOT a recommendation!" Ari glared at them.

"Sure sounded like it to me, though." Steph shook her head.

"Yeah!" Maya felt the same. "Why else would you have said it?"

"Because that's just the most logical thing to assume with you two!" The jaguar raised her voice.

"I think that was just your desire speaking."

"Yep!" Steph agreed with Maya. "I think so, too!"

"What kind of boat did they find?" Ignoring the three perverts, Anna looked at Chloe instead.

"Yeah, I'm curious, too!" The blonde nodded a few times.

"It's actually really nice!" The fox-girl smiled at them. "I think it might be a little big, but it looks super cool, and the cabin is amazing!"

"How so?" The tigers wanted to know more.

"It has a full-sized kitchen that Maya loved, as well as a huge and cozy sitting area where all of us would have more than enough place to laze around in."

"Ohh!" The striped girls were already fans.

"The only downside is that it only comes with one bedroom in total." Chloe scratched her cheek. "Well, the big double bed in there could fit all of us, but it might be a little tight, to say the least. Though, the sitting area is comfy enough to sleep on, too. Then again, the three of us pretty much agreed that a bedroom isn't really needed because there's no reason not to go back to the cottage if we want to sleep."

"That is true." Sophia could follow her logic.

"We could also take turns on staying on the boat overnight." Anna nodded a few times while imagining it. "It could be super romantic to be on a nice boat with just your girlfriend~."

"I already claimed dibs on the first night!" Steph then joined their conversation, "Chloe and I are going to be the first to have sex on the bed there!"

"I'm sorry, she was faster than I on that topic." Maya looked slightly apologetic as she faced Sophia.

"I really don't care." The blonde just shrugged. "Anyway, have you gotten the boat already, or can I take a look, too?"

"Not yet." Her sister shook her head. "In fact, we actually need you and Anna to buy it."

"Not enough funds?" The blonde tilted her head. "A quick grab in my wallet storage should change that. The golem hunts, as well as all the royalties from my inventions, should net more than enough to get whatever boat that is on sale~."

"It was rather expensive, like very expensive, but that's not the main issue." Steph was still moving her head from side to side. "The seller just doesn't want to sell it to us because, and I quote: 'I'm not going to sell such a vessel to a bunch of greenhorns who will only end up killing themselves with it on the open waters.' He didn't even change his mind after realizing how much magic power all of us have."

"That's surprisingly thoughtful of them!" Ari was impressed.

"Absolutely unnecessary, too!" The dog-girl disagreed. "I mean, he's right when it comes to normal people, but we can just leave if anything becomes too dangerous! Not to mention that there's nothing that could be dangerous to us! The worst that could happen to us is getting lost on the ocean if we let Sophia navigate!"

"Nuh-uh!" The blonde shook her head. "In large and monotone areas, like the ocean or a desert, Maya and Ari are a much bigger concern when it comes to getting lost! I only get lost in easy-to-navigate areas that are also properly marked! Oh, and on straight roads, but that's not my fault!"

"…" Maya and Ari only tilted their heads away.

"What do you need us for, though?" Anna pointed at Sophia and herself while looking at the dog-girl to get the conversation back on track. "I'm fairly sure that Sophia and I also give off greenhorn energy."

"True." The blonde nodded.

"You two are also tigers, though." Steph stared at them. "One if is the actual princess of this country, and the other one basically counts as one, too. There's no way that seller is going to deny you two, too!"

"That sounds like an abuse of power." Anna wasn't sure how to think about that.

"How is buying something for the amount asked an abuse of power?"

"Well, if you put it that way." The princess quickly let go of her reservations again.

----------------

Once they finished their lunch, after Anna, Ari, and Sophia had also gotten a bite, Steph guided everyone back to the boat she and Maya wanted to get, to show it to her sister and the royal couple.

"This is it!" Arriving there, the dog-girl pointed at a roughly 17-meter-long sailing boat made of dark lacquered wood with an even longer mast sticking out of it. Only the very top of the cabin, along with a large wheel, was sticking out on top, together with a large sitting area in the front half of the deck.

"It looks soo good!" Sophia liked it already.

"It seems surprisingly classy!" Ari nodded a few times.

"Yeah, I'm sorry that it isn't the swimming sex dungeon you wanted." Maya sounded a little apologetic again.

"I'll pounce you if you don't stop." The jaguar glared at her.

"It's the wrong boat for that~," Steph smirked at her.

"I hate you two." Ari wasn't having a good day.

"We love you, too~." They, however, were.

"I want to see how it looks on the inside!" Anna and Sophia immediately boarded the boat that seemed to be open to the public to get a better look.

Entering the cabin, they got a good look at the big U-shaped kitchen that left nothing to be desired and the huge living-room-like main area with enough seating to easily accommodate ten or more people. Or, allowing six girls to be as cozy as they want to be while also accommodating two wolves and maybe two more foxes. Behind that, a small bathroom and a cozy bedroom with a massive double bed could be found. Every room also came with a bunch of bullseye windows as well as massive skylights.

"Wow, it looks even better inside." Ari had also followed them after calming down, and she liked it just as much as the tigers. "It's super cozy, and the kitchen is amazing!"

"I knew you'd like that." Maya appeared next to her while also looking at the kitchen. "I can't wait to cook here."

"Same!" The jaguar smiled at her.

"Alright, we're going to buy it!" Sophia had seen enough to make her decision.

"Let's go!" Steph clapped her hands before guiding the tigers and the rest of the group to the seller at the end of the pier they were on.

At first, the seller in question protested again. In fact, he became even more insistent on it because he didn't want to take any responsibility for endangering two tigers. However, after Anna and Sophia's very insistent 'It's fine~', he had little left to say. In the end, the girls became the owners of a very fancy sailing yacht because they thought it would be fun.
