As the text refreshed, Yang Qizhou's consciousness ascended, arriving at the Star Realm, a phantasmagoric and twisted plane embodying all symbols.
Just like before,
with the infusion of the Old Sacrifice, numerous stars representing symbols of 'fate' were illuminated.
The only difference this time was… their sheer number. Like a sea of stars, hundreds of beams intertwined, nearly solidifying into an ocean of light.
As expected, Yang Qizhou's rank leapt beyond that of the Ancient Lord, reaching the level of the Old King.
This elevation occurred without the constraints of a 'ritual.'
Yang Qizhou was unsurprised by this revelation. Deep in his heart, he knew that after discovering his identity as the Cosmic Creator, his rank had already begun to awaken. The cosmos originated from him; all symbols stemmed from him. Retrieving his rightful dominion naturally didn't require the supplement of a ritual.
Returning to the Material World,
the text was still refreshing. As before, two choices appeared before Yang Qizhou.
Having experienced the outcome of the previous fate line, Yang Qizhou would not repeat his earlier mistakes. This time, he made a choice entirely different from the previous one.
He ignored the little girl's cries for help…
and directly went to seek guidance from the Outer Gods.
The text refreshed,
and the game character, who also carried the memories of the previous fate line, ultimately couldn't completely disregard Yaxi. Though unwilling to intervene openly, he covertly bestowed a blessing upon her, allowing her to escape danger and safely return to the First City.
The game character resumed his journey. Armed with the power of the Old King and the traits endowed through the pillar of 'fate,' he encountered numerous twisted monsters along the way, yet none posed significant threats. He eventually arrived smoothly at the Outer God Temple.
Here, the game character uncovered the origin of the Four Indescribable Lands…
It turned out they did not belong to this universe. Like the Cosmic Creator, they originated from the Void. Their essence was 'nothingness,' existing beyond all conceivable concepts, akin in rank to the Cosmic Creator.
However, after the Cosmic Creator birthed the universe, the Four Indescribable Lands, driven by deep curiosity about the Material World, instinctively approached it. Tragically, they were eroded by the universe's various dominions and symbols, transforming their void-based essence into conceptualized material existence.
This transformation, for ordinary beings, would have been a monumental blessing.
But for these void-based consciousnesses, it was akin to being poisoned. Unless they could expel the universe's dominions and symbols from their essence, their demise was inevitable.
The descent of the Four Indescribable Lands was also the cause of the calamity at the end of the First Epoch, an event unforeseen by all Old Gods and Ancient Dominators.
Moreover,
in the Outer God Temple, the game character uncovered a chilling secret: the Outer Gods drawn by the universe's symbols were not merely four in number but five. The last one existed in an embryonic state, incomparably fragile. At its birth, it suffered devastating injuries and took nearly two epochs of recovery to barely regain vitality.
Since it was born within the universe, it lost its void-based nature. To reclaim its dominion, it crafted the Ancient Roots from fragments of its embryonic form, establishing the blasphemous witchcraft system and declaring itself the Lord of Blasphemy, ruling the latter half of the Third Epoch.
Unfortunately,
it failed. When it monopolized the symbols of fate and ascended to a rank beyond the pillars, the Divine Curse – the will of the Cosmic Creator – awoke within it.
When Yang Qizhou read this portion of the text, he was profoundly shocked, finally unraveling the origins of the Blasphemous Wizards.
Afterward,
as the text continued to refresh, the game character smoothly arrived at the throne of the Lord of Blasphemy. However, he did not sit upon it. Using the residual Old Sacrifice left by the Lord of Blasphemy, he successfully broke through to a level just shy of the rank beyond the pillars.
At that moment, the stars began to shine with brilliance.
Yang Qizhou felt an overwhelming call. After bidding farewell to old acquaintances, he departed from the Material World, descending upon the Ancient Land and reuniting with the game character as one.
At that exact moment,
the barrier separating the Ancient Land and the Land of Truth suddenly fractured. The rightful Wizard King, carrying the will of the Lord of Blasphemy, awoke as well.
The final battle began.
The Lord of Blasphemy's plan was insidious. He sought to mislead Yang Qizhou into believing himself to be the Lord of Blasphemy—the one who had desecrated divinity, monopolized all symbols, and nearly perished as the fifth Outer God. Then, leveraging the 'rightful' dominion, he aimed to turn this falsehood into a permanent reality.
Regrettably,
on the Day of Fallen, though the Cosmic Creator's awakening was brief, it was enough. The Creator had laid out numerous contingencies, such as allying with the Dream Realm Master, forcing the Master of the River of Death to secretly assist under the guise of the Hidden Wizard King, and more.
Ultimately, Yang Qizhou successfully defeated the Lord of Blasphemy, ascended to the divine rank of the Cosmic Creator, and sealed his ally, the Mysterious Town of the Indescribable Lands, at the edge of the universe.
He then reclaimed the dominions and symbols of the three Indescribable Lands: the Dream Realm Master, the Doomsday Land, and the Golden Realm, restoring them to their original essence and returning them to the Void.
After accomplishing all this,
Yang Qizhou chose not to indulge in a life of supreme power. Instead, he wandered the universe, admiring the landscapes and cultures of countless stars and civilizations, living a retired life ahead of his time.
(The End)
PS: I sincerely apologize for the abrupt ending of this novel. I had initially planned to see it through to a complete conclusion, but as you might have noticed, the storylines have completely unraveled. Writing this has been excruciatingly painful, so I've painfully decided to hastily wrap things up and finish this book.
The new book will likely be released after the New Year. It'll be far more enjoyable.
I hope everyone will support it when the time comes.
See you next year.
