Urban Ace Bodyguard

Chapter 301 I am the King of Soldiers—L

"I'm late," Lin Hai cradled Su Wanjing, his heart aching at the sight of her haggard features.

"It's not late, I've been waiting for you." Su Wanjing revealed a sweet smile, but accidentally strained the wound at the corner of her mouth.

Lin Hai gently stroked her wound, his Gang Qi inside subtly mobilized, and suddenly, the Gang Qi burst through his fingers, slowly flowing into Su Wanjing's wound, nourishing and healing her injuries.

This was the first time Lin Hai had ever fully released the Gang Qi from his body. Though it was a tiny amount, it held profound significance because every person who could become a Supreme Strong must absolutely be able to release Gang Qi from their body.

Perhaps, the power of love was just so naturally achieved.

"Wait here for me. I'll be back very soon, to cure your father's illness first."

"Then, all those who have hurt you, I will make them taste a thousand times the pain."

Lin Hai gently set Su Wanjing down, and alone, stepped out of the third-floor window. In a dash, his figure blurred and he had vanished.

Tears in her eyes, Su Wanjing's face dampened with sorrow. He came, he didn't fail her, didn't disappoint. He arrived with a commanding presence, and now, he had more important things to accomplish. She ought to wait here; that's what his woman should do.

In a modest and simple room, the thick smell of medicine permeated the air.

Lin Hai was standing in front of the sickbed, anger coursing through his chest. His beloved was emaciated, a face of sorrow and grievance, wishing he could annihilate all the callous and slay the oppressors.

Around the sickbed, many life-sustaining machines blinked with red alarm lights, many medications having been forcibly discontinued on purpose.

The patient's condition was dire, lying on the bed looking as gaunt as a skeleton. Only the slight twitching of eyelids and the occasional deep, weak gasping sounds from the throat proved that the person was still clinging to life on the brink of death.

The patient was just in his fifties, but now appeared as an old man in his seventies or eighties.

As if sensing the astonishing yet extremely suppressed presence before him, Mr. Su struggled to open his eyelids, and the instant he opened his eyes, they flickered with a sharp glint, then quickly faded back into murky orbs.

This was the man who had once brought the Su Family to the pinnacle of Huadu's elite, now tragically dismal, but undeniably, he was a heroic figure, even his last trace of life yearning to shine brightly.

"Who are you!" Mr. Su used up all his strength to shout this, then seemed to be drained of all energy, struggling to breathe, unable to utter another word.

"In the world's mercenary circle, people like to call me the King of Soldiers. My name is L."

Lin Hai spoke slowly, as if narrating something utterly ordinary, yet the content of this information could shock countless people.

Mr. Su's eyes also flashed with a deep surprise.

"You don't need to speak. You have a good daughter, perhaps that's your reason to live on."

Lin Hai spoke matter-of-factly, regulating his breathing, his Gang Qi from within reached its peak state at that moment, his aura instantly solidified, soaring to a terrifying height.

"I will save you. You need to cooperate with me, try your best to sustain your will to live, leave the rest to me."

As soon as the words fell, Lin Hai's hands moved as if capturing dragons and searching the seas, swift as lightning, formidable as thunder, like a mad wolf, waves surging tumultuously, and fierce winds and driving rain crazily descending upon Mr. Su's body.

The dazzling Acupoint Pointing Technique, profound in skill, commanded amazement and submission, each acupoint touched with speed, accuracy, no dragging, extraordinarily precise.

The Gang Qi within his body followed the Finger Technique, progressively and orderly infusing into Mr. Su's depleted body, reigniting his vitality.

Mr. Su could hardly believe that there existed in this world someone with such speed, such miraculous healing methods that made his withering body feel like parched earth blessed with timely rain and dew, moisturizing every cracked inch.

He suddenly realized that he had been looking at the sky from the bottom of a well, and his mind was quickly recalling memories of the legendary King of Soldiers.

...Ten minutes later, Mr. Su, half-asleep, subconsciously felt the incredible presence recede like a tide, and in the room, other than him, there was no other breath of life present. Even in his semi-conscious state, he couldn't suppress the deep shock within his heart.

The Su Family, amid the tremendous noises, was like a lion jolted awake from its slumber, and under the shock and anger of the higher-ups, various powerful subordinates, specially hired elite guards, assassins, all swiftly flooded into the Su Family home.

Su Wanjing's room door was brutally kicked open with brute force.

A group of fierce and evil-looking people menacingly surrounded her.

"Speak, who was that person just now? Where is he? What is your relationship with him?!"

A sharp and piercing voice rose from the crowd, it was none other than Su Liuliu—Su Wanjing's second uncle's eldest daughter.

Su Wanjing slowly turned around; seeing this woman who had swaggered around just days before, harming her, destroying the only ragged doll left by her mother, supposed to share a sisterly bond by blood yet harboring malicious resentment, a trace of long-lost sarcasm appeared on her lips.

"Bitch, today I'll make sure you feel my power." Su Liuliu, seeing Su Wanjing's mocking smile, felt as if she was fiercely pricked in the heart. The jealousy and resentment she'd always harbored made her lose her mind in an instant.

"Bat, teach this bitch a harsh lesson for me."

Su Liuliu's malice reached an extreme, uttering these appalling words.

Su Wanjing remained unmoved, sitting calmly on the bed, her gaze serene as a gentle breeze and floating clouds, the corners of her mouth still holding that mocking smile that pricked Su Liuliu's eyes.

Bat revealed a hideous smile, full of anticipation.

Bat snickered maliciously, drool leaking from the corner of his mouth, his disgusting and obscene gaze running rampant over Su Wanjing's body, rubbing his rough hands, longing to defile her purity.

"Thought of touching my woman without asking me first?"

A hoarse, profound voice, like an eerie specter from the Nine Nether calling for souls, suddenly sounded behind everyone.

Everyone immediately turned their heads in unison, focusing on the figure who unexpectedly appeared perched on the edge of the room's window, tall and stalwart, muscles coiled with power, and his black trench coat flapping loudly in the air currents of the Gang Qi around him.

"Who are you?" Bat frowned, annoyed at this damn guy ruining his good time, he asked angrily.

"The one here to take your life," Lin Hai said indifferently.

"Big talker, I'm the elite of the elites from the Dragon Tooth Special Forces, the last King of Soldiers, kid, you looking to die?" Bat boasted and intimidated with a smirk.
