Lord of Mysterious Wizard

Chapter 639: Scumbag Tang Qi

"Three!"

Inside the Mechanical Ball, a voice devoid of human emotion began the countdown.

The agents who had nearly subdued the frenzied citizens, as well as the powerlessly furious followers of Flora, automatically envisioned the upcoming scene in their minds: Flora, once contained within the Mechanical Ball, would be exiled to that deathly planet.

Although aside from Chris, the other agents likely had no idea what the so-called "Exile Star" actually was.

But that didn't stop everyone from thinking, maybe this big problem seemed to be resolved?

Just as that thought emerged, the second countdown had not yet begun.

Suddenly, a twist occurred.

Hiss! Hiss! Hiss!

Amidst the burst of scorching steam, the surface of the Mechanical Ball revealed extraordinarily tiny cracks, from which deep red "spider silk" style sticky threads emerged, unfurling like a giant web without warning and swiftly enveloping the likewise immobilized Chris Bartfield.

Then, with a "snap", the sticky, tenacious Blood Spider Silk tightened, and the Mechanical Ball instantly expanded several times in size, thus in the next moment, as Chris Bartfield's eyes widened, his limbs and torso were tightly bound, directly tied to the Mechanical Ball.

The scene was somewhat more comical than the previous cracked tooth of Flora in the middle.

But at this time, no one could laugh.

For as Chris was bound to the ball, the originally counting down Mechanical Ball, which was about to open the exile passage, began to deflate like a balloon, with hot steam spraying as the sphere bounced around the basketball court.

The cold countdown voice immediately turned into Chris's exclamations, and a sporadic dangerous broadcast:

"Exile… program interrupted!"

"Restarting!"

"Beginning to recharge energy, program will restart in ten seconds."

"This extreme life form is releasing extreme values of Pollution, radiation is about to overload, should the self-destruction program be initiated?"

...

"Damn ball, shut up."

"Thump thump thump"

"Quick, someone help me, press down on the back of my neck… a big disaster is about to occur."

These comical yet dangerous incidents almost happened in the blink of an eye.

Even the agents seemed a bit stunned, seemingly unable to comprehend how the Perfect Agent, who had just ingeniously contained a Fallen Goddess and was about to exile Her, suddenly turned into this foolish appearance, cool for no more than a second.

"Indeed, someone who uses Curios to make themselves look that good, isn't likely to be a proper agent... With such a guy in the East Federation Six New Stars, plus Jason entering as a backup, tsk, future fame indeed."

Tang Qi had just finished his critique when his eyes narrowed slightly, a hint of helplessness surfacing.

In front of him, the expanding Mechanical Ball stuck with an agent, under the enhancement of scorching steam, coincidentally sped toward Tang Qi's position with great velocity.

Tang Qi's gaze passed over the shouting Chris, focusing on the sticky threads.

If his guess was correct, these "threads" should be part of Flora's body.

Correspondingly, they must also carry some Information Fragments.

Even without the option of forced interpretation appearing, the answer emerged instantly:

"Extraordinary Creature: Fallen Flora, a Madness Goddess who wanders 'Mysteriously' day after day, due to losing almost all of Her sanity, She fears virtually nothing, which enables Her to venture into any nation or planet within the Mysterious."

"She has consumed many bizarre creatures and fought many powerful beings, and Her long wandering career has led Her into unprecedented weakness... She is no longer the Order Flora of the ancient era, Her nature has changed."

"This arrival is Her last chance, unable to recover Her sanity, She will completely degenerate into some kind of 'Chaotic Creature'."

When these pieces of Information Fragment flowed past, Tang Qi understood the state of Flora.

This Goddess, once part of the Order Camp in a far distant era, was now irreversibly sliding toward chaos.

Crucially, Her condition seemed even worse than that of the Doll God Bolas.

Originally because of "rushing to the scene," Tang Qi did not plan to delay further, although he speculated that Chris Bartfield, currently bound on the containment ball, likely still had some tricks up his sleeve, and even if Tang Qi did nothing, he wouldn't actually let Flora descend.

"But, since the 'junior' is earnestly asking for help, as a 'senior' who just happens to be passing by, it indeed wouldn't be right not to lend a hand."

Smiling to himself, Tang Qi immediately extended a fair hand.

During this process, his "Illusion Spell" began to fail.

Thus, the original chaotic gymnasium, with some agents trying clumsily to help and the followers of Flora slumped on the ground, all saw as a hand appeared out of nowhere.

Thump!

The rampaging Mechanical Ball was pressed down in place.

A black-haired, black-eyed young man stepped out of the void, dressed in a tightly fitting, mystical-looking Wizard Robe, holding no Magic Wand, but carrying an excessively well-crafted antique leather suitcase.

Coming from the "Ancient Mystical Vault," the agents clearly had a good understanding of the Mysterious Side's "Big Shots."

Tang Qi's face also had a recognition factor that other Transcendents couldn't match.

Almost instantly, his identity was recognized by the agents.

Tang Qi smiled slightly at them, and within his palm pressing down on the Mechanical Ball, the Flame Spell mixed with "Molten Furnace Flames" was cast, under his Refining Method control techniques, the flames directly started a kind of Sealing on the Mechanical Ball as a whole.
