Lord of Mysterious Wizard

Chapter 576: Fire Mushroom

The Second Rotten Head froze for an incredibly brief moment, as clusters of Information Fragments instantly burst open in Tang Qi's mind.

The fragments were disorderly and intricate, each bearing complex information. After all, this was an old monster from the Dark Era, and one could tell from his fervent "confession" to Martin Sims just how rich his life experiences were.

Tang Qi had no time to sort through them, focusing directly on the fragments that immediately caught his attention.

As this thought flashed, two distinct fragments exploded.

"Extraordinary Creature: The Second Rotten Head, an old monster that has survived since the Dark Era... currently sharing a body with 'Confessor's disciple' Ludwig."

"A disciple of the Confessor?"

"The previous speculation was wrong. Ludwig is Ludwig. He is indeed the successor of Martin Sims, not the so-called reincarnation of the Holy Confessor."

As these thoughts flickered through Tang Qi's mind like lightning.

The second Information Fragment came from the Confession Sword held in the hands of the Second Rotten Head, as well as the central device that could control the entire Warship fused with the sword.

The content inside was simple and yet horrifying.

"Curios: Pula Central, self-destruction program activated, countdown, ten, nine..."

"Boom!"

At that instant, Tang Qi felt as if he were struck by actual lightning and thunder, his body trembling uncontrollably, his spine arching, every hair on his body standing on end.

The next second, as the Second Rotten Head was about to do something to punish this Yellow Squirrel that dared to offend him.

What he saw was the little squirrel "frightened" out of its wits, hopping in place, fur puffed up, and with a high-pitched scream, it started to run down the mountain, in its panic even managing to drop its antique pipe on the ground.

The Second Rotten Head was very satisfied with this scene, taking it as a result of his fearsome reputation.

Therefore, he didn't pay any more attention to the squirrel for the time being, but rather stood like a "king" on high, holding the Confession Sword on the summit of the black Giant Mountain, looking down at the Second Holy City below the heavens, with a voice filled with rich sarcasm and smug satisfaction resounding:

"The number two can only belong to my good friend and lifelong rival, Martin Sims, the Holy Confessor, as he said in his confession."

"War Cannon, roar!"

Those Transcendents who heard his voice were all shocked, whether it was the audience suppressed by the Pla Field aboard the spaceship, or members of various Extraordinary Organizations within the Federation, at that moment, aside from a few with quicker wits, few could grasp the sarcasm in the first sentence of the Second Rotten Head.

But the second sentence was a death announcement.

Especially for the Transcendents of the Light Camp, they were now despairing and angry, but the turn of events happened too quickly, and the Church, no matter how profound its heritage, was unable to respond effectively.

Watching as the Holy City, where all the hopes and beliefs of the Bright believers were placed, was about to be destroyed.

Boom!

Finally, the first roar exploded.

Bright flashes of fire appeared at the site of the first "War Cannon," whose enormously thick barrel, along with its base, exploded, destroying nearby fortresses and pipelines, with the Fog Sea, formed of the Breath of Death, suddenly ripped open by a vast gap, the fierce waves of heat ravaging in all directions.

Accompanied by this "signal," unprecedented brilliant fireworks bloomed both above the "Second Holy City" and amidst the "Mysterious."

All the cannons of the Warship began to self-destruct simultaneously.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

An unprecedented "Big Explosion" occurred all around.

No, they were in the midst of it.

What does it feel like to be inside a Warship, forged from a dead planet, in the process of self-destructing?

Including those dozens of Legends, now they all could answer.

Panic!

This moment the Legends, no longer caring to fight over spoils, were just as shocked and incredulous as the "Second Rotten Head" seated upon the throne, unable to comprehend what they were seeing.

Soon, the Legends reacted and retreated in unison, turning back to where their organization's members had gathered.

The combatants of the Holy Eagle Nest Society gathered at an abandoned fortress at the foot of the mountain, with continuous roaring sounds in their ears drowning out all other noises, as if to destroy everything. The searing heat mixed with the "Breath of Death," created a death storm sweeping towards them.

While several had distressed expressions, putting up defenses.

Three figures appeared in front of them, simultaneously raising their hands to halt the storm.

"Be ready, once the Pla Field shatters, activate the badges, and we will employ the Divine Eagle Power to take you away."

Barton Bird's voice penetrated deep into their minds.

Similar activity also cropped up elsewhere at the mountain's base.

Limited by the presence of the "Pla Field," even though the various Legends possessed Curios or Special Abilities that could traverse the "Mysterious" and the real world, these means were futile before the force field shattered.

All the Transcendents could only watch with horrified eyes as they were amidst the massive explosion.

Once the immensely sturdy Warship entered its self-destruction program, everything became unstoppable.

The firelight and smoke converged and rose, forming the shape of mushrooms.

One mushroom after another "planted" below, stirring the Death Breath Fog Sea beneath like giant hands, sweeping back and forth, engulfing everything.

Without waiting long, while the three Undying Pioneers grunted from resisting the residual shockwaves of the explosions, they simultaneously sensed the sound of something shattering in the void. The terrifying pressure that had been suppressing everyone vanished.

But the aftermath of the Big Explosion, even more terrifying, came upon them.

Barton Bird immediately wanted to activate the "Holy Eagle Nest Badge", but at this moment, a member suddenly cried out in alarm, pointing to the black Giant Mountain. Without needing him to speak, everyone saw at the same time; on those giant steps, a bolt of yellow lightning was shooting down.

"Three, two."

Barton Bird just started counting down when Tang Qi's speed increased exponentially again. A twisted lightning passed through the members of the Eagle's Nest Association's eyes at an unimaginable velocity, sweeping past those steps, and then hurtling out of control towards everyone.

That female member who had been pregnant before conveniently turned sideways, reached out her arm, and embraced the Yellow Squirrel transformed by Tang Qi into her bosom.

At the same moment, the three Undying Pioneers each made a move, a loud eagle cry sounded. Everyone felt a tremor beneath their feet, and they appeared on the back of a Holy Giant Eagle, shooting away from the Big Explosion like a beam of light.

Tang Qi didn't have time to feel where he was; his gaze was completely fixed on the summit of the Giant Mountain.

Looking at the Second Rotten Head on the throne, this old monster from the Dark Era finally lost composure. After the spaceship entered the Self-Destruction sequence, and the horrific Big Explosion occurred, he tried to do something, but at that moment, his body was Bound by the "Thorny Suit" on the spot.

The thorns, which were supposed to give him strength, instead made him experience endless Pain.

He wailed in agony, an angry Roar arose, followed by an unmistakable hint of panic.

Even an old monster from the Dark Era, could he withstand the force released by a warship's Self-Destruction?

This question seemed to soon have an answer.

Other Transcendents fled in all directions. The Second Rotten Head who was imposing seconds before, was now bound on the spot waiting for the full force of the Big Explosion to come crashing down on him, a force that was supposed to help him destroy the Second Holy City.

Wait?

The Second Rotten Head's expression froze as he seemed to realize something.

At the same time, his body also began to feel different.

Because his hands were also fixed to the Confession Sword, he was unable to undo his clothes, although he very much wanted to.

A tingling sensation came from his abdomen, as if "fleshy bumps" were emerging and gradually forming different features, a face that should have perished was being formed under the concealment of his clothes.

"Martin Sims, is that you? Is it you, you undying old man, come out!"

The Second Rotten Head bellowed like a Madman.

The Divine Eagle Federation, all the Extraordinary Organizations were watching the movements on the "Warship."

The sudden Self-Destruction of a spaceship originally meant to destroy the Holy City had all organizations uncertain.

And the Second Rotten Head's current "performance" failed to convince any organization or strong figure; all eyes were merely watching cautiously, to see if the Second Rotten Head would die in the Big Explosion.

At that moment, whether to step in to save him.

After all, all organizations now know that the Second Rotten Head, who had taken the body of the Saint Penitent Reincarnation, must know the "Mysterious Coordinates" of the Land of Divine Fall. No organization would want to miss such an opportunity.

The official wouldn't miss it, neither would the Bright Church, and other organizations were even more eager.

The face that had freshly formed on the Second Rotten Head's abdomen now had the organs of a mouth, but remained silent throughout, enduring the curses and insults of the Second Rotten Head who seemed on the verge of spewing out all the gossip related to Martin Sims.

With his voice, all the "mushrooms" were finally planted.

They converged into a mass beginning to expand, about to release completely, a Fire Mushroom covered with large "red spots" on the surface.

In the center, the Second Rotten Head, who will bear the brunt of the damage, finally tired from cursing.

He made a difficult decision, his rotting head turning sharply towards the "mysterious" inside, where there was a huge and completely rotten "head" Curios made of various corpses, about to transport itself away. At the peak of the head, stood two Legendary Level strong figures.

One of them wore a fine and proper black suit; his head suddenly started decomposing at an accelerated rate, as if it would rot completely and fall off the next second, with a new head ready to take its place.

His "companion," making no move, even stepped back to bow, as if welcoming the arrival of a Great Existence.

At this moment, the face on the Second Rotten Head's belly finally moved, instantly positioning itself behind the neck. A mouth silently emerged and "snap" – it bit down, interrupting the Second Rotten Head's spell casting. A surprisingly calm voice entered the ear of the Second Rotten Head.

"Your Excellence Simon, you cannot leave my body. This was our Master's arrangement. You and I share the same duty."

"The Master praised you for your outstanding Knowledge, and I am eager to learn it from you in the near future. Although the process will be arduous, we will face the pursuit of various organizations together. But it will also be an excellent Trial."

"Deviation from the path of physical practice is Magic… Let us encourage each other."

When a voice clearly from Ludwig sounded, the Second Rotten Head first paused, then became furiously enraged.

"I am originally from the path of Magic, Martin Sims. I'm going to kill you!"

"Boom!"

A Fire Mushroom, unprecedented in size, finally burst forth both in the Federation and the Mysterious, simultaneously.

In that radiant light, all Transcendents heard the somewhat frantic roar of the Second Rotten Head.
