Lord of Mysterious Wizard

Chapter 560: Innocent Squirrel_2

"Rotten Head!"

Just as these words were spat out, Tang Qi and the members turned their gaze elsewhere.

This time, a full three "starlights" twinkled.

From them emerged:

A dreamlike palace, wrapped in a colorful grid, with large, unreal feathers dangling below.

A ship that looked gorgeous, piled with bread, roast meat, spices... like a paradise.

A monstrous creature stitched together from the bodies of many monsters, wantonly releasing pollution and foul odor.

With one glance, Tang Qi made his judgement.

"Dream God Palace!"

"Doomsday Sect!"

"Horror Devourer!"

One after another, terrifying Evil God Organizations appeared, yet Tang Qi, who should have been surprised, gradually grew numb.

Especially since, in addition to these three beams of starlight, around the "War Planet Relics," more ghost lights kept twinkling, signifying the continuous arrival of "Mysterious Organizations" or the appearance of powerful individuals, each employing their means.

Guided by the aura of "Ludwig," the former violin prodigy, now an Ascetic, they came here.

In Tang Qi's eyes, this originally silent and cold region, in the universe with the relics of the dead, with the emergence of each dreadful aura, different storms began to sweep through, having not yet made contact, but already colliding across the void.

He stood on the back of Divine Eagle, surrounded by lightning and storm; he could see those terrifying beings, but could not make out "the Believers of the Evil God" or members of other Mysterious Organizations, only able to look from afar, feeling the veiled threats.

Suddenly, Tang Qi remembered that he was neither the Principal of the Witch School nor an ordinary Transcendent.

He was not in the real world; he was in the midst of the mysterious, facing the War Relics of the Dark Era, and moreover, he was a Member of the Mysterious Organization "Holy Eagle Nest Society."

He slightly bowed his head, intending to glance at his own body of today, the somewhat comical "Squirrel Body."

All "starlights" suddenly paused, the chaotic storms at the same time targeting the unbelievable ruins, the Dark Era War Relics, that spaceship-like vessel, surrounded by giant palaces, Planet Engines, and towering cliffs.

There lay a "seat." Forged from some sort of pure black unknown material, its shape and the serpent-like symbols carved on it, as well as the aura faintly emanating from it that seemed to pierce through everything, all indicated the terrifying power it must have held when "intact."

But now, it too was part of the ruins.

On the remaining "black pedestal," several items were placed.

Each one, enough to provoke rapid breathing and desire in the eyes of those present, including some Legendary Transcendents.

A thorny crown!

A Holy Linen Robe!

Both stained with blood.

They lay quietly on that black chair pedestal, exuding an irresistibly tempting aura.

"At the end of the Dark Era, the Holy Confessor was granted an audience by the Lord of Thorns, the great One, causing thorns to grow from Lord Martin Simms's crown and spikes from his linen robe. He said: You shall endure suffering, you shall be covered in wounds, but you shall also become king amidst the thorns."

Due to the distance, Tang Qi's Special Ability could not be utilized, but that did not prevent the corresponding memory information from surfacing in his mind. The crown and robe were clearly the "Thorny Suit" from legend, or certain revised gospel books of the Church.

One reason why Martin Sims was commonly regarded as closest to Divine among the Twelve Saints was because of them.

However, Tang Qi did not linger on the "Thorny Suit," his gaze quickly swept past the black pedestal and followed his intuition to look at the foot of the towering mountain peak.

There, a familiar Human Figure appeared.

It was a young man in tattered clothes, with dirt and dishevelment, and not a single piece of unscathed flesh could be found on his body, as if he had suffered the burning of the desert sun, the torture of severe interrogation, and the gnawing of wild beasts. However, his eyes shone with unprecedented brightness.

He was climbing towards the summit.

And on his shoulders, a Rotten Head incessantly mocked the young man while gnawing on his flesh.

Holy and filthy light intertwined.

"Ludwig!"

In an instant, all starlight exploded.

Here, perhaps, gathered all the Mysterious Organizations with profound depths from the entire Divine Eagle Federation, Europe Continent, or other regions.

They might not care about the "Thorn Suit," but without exception, they all cared about the secret related to the Great Catastrophe hidden on Ludwig.

The very next second, meteor showers descended abruptly upon this war-torn planet's forsaken lands.

Including Divine Eagles where Tang Qi was aboard, all simultaneously plummeted towards the ruins.

But as the Divine Eagle penetrated the darkness and entered the airspace above the relics, an almost irresistible force, imbued with certain rules, pressed down upon them with might.

Boom!

This artifact of the Dark Era instantly disintegrated, breaking into hundreds of parts, as all members floated mid-air. The three "Sword Holders" seemed to have anticipated this, and it was still Barton Bird who reached out and gathered all the scattered parts.

Voices also pierced into everyone's ears at the same time.

"The no-fly defense inside the relics is still active, determined by the materials of the relics themselves, but this does not affect other matters. As per our earlier agreement, you may follow us or act independently. Beware of the residual dangers within the relics and do not kill Ludwig."

Having said this, Barton Bird and the other two "Undying Pioneers" transformed into three streaks of fire, shooting towards the interior of the relics.

"Compared to other organizations, the Holy Eagle Nest Society truly is too lax."

While complaining, Tang Qi's gaze shifted towards other areas.

The "Meteor Shower," composed of powerful Transcendents, was descending upon the cold, desolate ruins.

Most of them chose to stick together.

Only a few organizations, like the Holy Eagle Nest Society, allowed their members to move freely.

The rest were freelancers from the start.

Tang Qi let himself smash towards the ground below, still not forgetting to adjust his glasses midair to witness this almost impossible spectacle in the real world.

Scores of "strong" individuals, plummeting onto the relics of the Dark Era.

Among them, the presence of Legendary Level beings was simply beyond imagination.

Professional Level?

Such Transcendents probably did not exist.

Every participant in this battle far surpassed the strength of regular Professional Level Transcendents.

The spectacle was more magnificent than when "Leckter" attempted to steal the Power of Faith to become a Divine.

"Has the Spiritual Tide revived to this extent? Are Legendary Level existences beginning to surge?"

"No, it's the foundation of the major organizations. There won't be many Transcendents who started from zero and reached the Legendary Level through cultivation."

"But it's undeniable that this is probably the first... Extraordinary War of the new era!"

"This, will be a beginning!"

...

Boom! Bang! Bang!

Ah!

Tang Qi, with a ghost light still glimmering beneath his glasses, was appreciating the scene of strong ones raining down when he didn't realize his body had already reached the ground. The scene he envisioned of creating a deep crater did not happen, as the ground of this war-torn ruin was unexpectedly hard.

So his squirrel body created a shallow pit on the dark ground, his instinctive scream echoing as he bounced away like a ball, skip-hopping into the distance.

After the last impact, Tang Qi felt he had broken something. Feeling dizzy and shaky, he struggled to suppress the vertigo in his mind. Without waiting to dispel the numb pain in his body, he had a sense of awareness and looked up.

Reflected in the lens of his monocle was an unknown material, a black and extremely sharp "Tower Top" lunging straight down at him.

Before he could react, the lens mirrored an even more terrifying sight.

Where Tang Qi was, it turned out to be a "Black Tower Forest," and due to Tang Qi's collision, a domino effect ensued. The Tower Top lunging at him was just the first. As his gaze lifted, he saw at least ten thousand "Tower Tops," as if drawn by some force.

Without exception, they were all stabbing towards Tang Qi.

Intense ghost light burst forth in abundance, forming a special scene.

"Curios: Original Force Tower Forest, residual Defensive Magic from the warship, sharp and capable of breaking spells. Once triggered, they will automatically slay the invader..."

Tang Qi's expression immediately became vacant, casting "Guardian Spell" without hesitation while making futile complaints.

"I'm just an innocent squirrel!"

"Shh! Shh! Shh!"

After the complaints, he was immediately engulfed by the metal torrent.
