This Holy Knight is So Despicable!

Chapter 481: Lilith's Big Surprise

Swoop! Swing! Retreat! Advance!

Lette's hands radiated purple light, his entire figure moving rapidly and swinging his fists with speed.

His movements were so fast that he created countless afterimages. These shadows followed his real body to punch, delivering hundreds of thousands of strikes in just one second!

Swooping Hook! Swooping Straight Punch! Swooping Belly Punch! Holy Counterattack! Jabbing Punch!

"Come on, let's swing together!"

Lette frantically pounded on the Gate of Truth, the sound of impact echoing loudly, like a string of firecrackers.

Though the Gate of Truth was a phantom, the Illusion Purple Gloves in Lette's hands were an existence between the illusory and the real.

Through this thin veil of gloves, Lette wildly assailed the Gate of Truth!

Faced with such a fierce onslaught, the Gate of Truth continuously gathered runes, attempting to piece together a powerful and targeted Power of Concept to break the current situation.

Unfortunately, just as it gathered the runes, Lette would scatter them with a few punches, unable to organize an effective attack.

The Gate of Truth, a mighty force, was continually in a position of passive beating. To outsiders, it always seemed like Lette was keeping it under tight suppression.

The remaining believers of the Gate of Truth in the Netherworld widened their eyes, expressions of disbelief on their faces.

This was the Gate of Truth, a powerful Indescribable existence, being relentlessly beaten without even a chance to retaliate.

In front of Lette, it seemed like a highly resilient sandbag, a pitiful sight indeed.

Not only them, but even the Death Gods in the Nether Sea were rendered speechless in shock.

They knew Lette was fierce, but they didn't expect him to be fierce to this extent.

Was he really beating down an Indescribable being?

Although it was just a phantom of the Indescribable, the striking Lette wasn't a true body either; it was a temporarily assembled division of consciousness.

However, the Death Gods quickly noticed a problem.

If the Gate of Truth was an Indescribable being, why could it appear in the Netherworld with such a form?

The term Indescribable signifies that it can't be described or understood.

Yet the phantom of the Gate of Truth was a stone gate built of massive stones, ancient in design and extremely elegant and solemn.

It indeed gave the feeling of wisdom and enlightenment, a symbol and witness of all truths.

But even if it fits the title of the Gate of Truth, it didn't align with the common perception of the Indescribable.

Could it be that the Gate of Truth isn't actually Indescribable?

In this matter, Lette had the most authority to speak.

Through his assault on the Gate of Truth before him, Lette had almost immediately drawn a conclusion.

It was indeed the Gate of Truth, and the entity was definitely of Indescribable Level.

Otherwise, if it were merely Conceptual level, a mere phantom would have been crushed long ago.

As for why it exhibited a form comprehensible to humanity, it was probably to facilitate proselytizing with its own conceptual projection.

This is something many Divine entities that haven't reached the Indescribable level do not understand.

Being Indescribable isn't the end, on the contrary, it's a new beginning.

To this day, there is no consensus on how an Indescribable can step into the realm of the unknowable.

At that stage, there's no path to follow from predecessors; one must gropingly find their own way.

Among the numerous Indescribables, some individuals still crave the faith of believers and Favoured and need someone to continue spreading their doctrine.

In such circumstances, they need a form that can be comprehended by the general populace.

Some Indescribables use the form they had early on at the Conceptual Level, while others create a new one for themselves.

The Gate of Truth uses the form it had when it was once at a Conceptual Level.

An ancient, stone-built gate representing the gate of truth.

It's hard to imagine why a stone gate that represents truth could become an Angel Envoy of the Profanity Monarch!

Even more baffling is that such an existence would become the greatest scourge of the Mortal World heavens!

Thinking of this, Lette punched the stone gate, sending it crashing back heavily against a mountain of white bones.

In less than ten minutes, Lette had lost count of how many punches he'd thrown.

He was sure each strike hit the enemy solidly, yet the Gate of Truth seemed entirely unscathed, showing no signs of change.

If there was any noticeable difference, it was that the Mysterious Truth Runes on the Gate of Truth's huge stone appeared somewhat dimmer.

"Although there's some damage, it's like I'm scraping it with a razor. This thing indeed lives up to being made of stone, it's so tough!"

Lette shook his hand, the paper-thin Illusion Purple Gloves offering no protection whatsoever.

When Lette initially created the Phantom Purple Form, he prioritized operability and flexibility.

Never did he expect that it would be used as boxing gloves today.

"It seems without hitting you with something harsh, you won't feel pain."

After fighting for so long without effect, Lette's temper began to surge.

He waved his hand, and several fragments of the Key of Truth flew out from Holy Flame Bone City, hovering around Lette.

As these objects appeared, the Gate of Truth trembled slightly.

Clearly, it was somewhat wary of these items.

"It's not over yet!"

Lette snapped his fingers, and the four phantoms of the Holy Prison behind him suddenly enlarged.
