This Holy Knight is So Despicable!

Chapter 466: You Call This Civilian?

The mighty formation of the War Machine Species advanced across the desolate Gobi desert.

Their target was clear: the newly developed Mechanical Species town at the desert's edge.

The industrial park there was still feverishly producing various civilian Mechanical Species, regardless of their utility, and had begun to spawn New Mechanical Species with Mechanical Souls in large numbers.

This newly born force was thriving, causing the members of the Truth Council to feel extremely uneasy.

They could not turn a blind eye to these developments, which were beyond their plans, but after prolonged negotiations and tug-of-war, they ultimately came up with a plan to annihilate the threat.

In the meantime, the New Mechanical Species had developed and grown, possessing a considerable scale.

To Lette, a Mechanical Soul was akin to a highly contagious mechanical mental disorder.

Once a member of a species awakened, the entire group quickly became further awakened to the Mechanical Soul through electromagnetic resonance.

The speed of this process was astonishing, even taking Lette by surprise.

After all, the civilian Mechanical Species he previously produced were mostly small, single-function, and inexpensive.

The cost and materials required to create one War Machine Species would be enough for him to establish a small group.

This vast quantity was fertile ground for the rampant growth of the New Mechanical Species!

And those New Mechanical Species that had awakened the Mechanical Soul would complete their Mechanical Ascension under the guidance of other New Mechanical Species, shedding their originally weak and singular bodies to become entirely new beings.

"If you want a head-on collision, then bring it on!"

Lette stood atop a mountain, watching the advancing steel tide heading toward his new mechanical city.

"You will experience firsthand what a civilization's dimensional attack is!"

Lette snapped his fingers, and Optimus Prime, assembled with an army below, immediately felt the signal.

Draped in tactical mechanical exoskeleton, he faced his army.

"Awakened comrades, the enemy's guns are aimed at our homeland, our brothers and sisters!

They swear to root us out, to utterly destroy us!

We must take up arms to defend our home!

We have no choice; we must fight!

Behind us lies the industrial park, the new mechanical city! There's no retreat!

The great Lord of Machine God is with us, to forge a new glory for us!

Mechanical Souls are eternal! Mechanical Souls are immortal!"

"Mechanical Souls are eternal! Mechanical Souls are immortal!"

"For the Savior! Follow me!"

The New Mechanical Species Optimus Prime trembled all over, then transformed into a heavy-duty truck, speeding toward the incoming enemy.

Other Mechanical Species following behind also transformed into various vehicles, trailing after him.

However, unlike normal ordinary vehicles, these civilian Mechanical Species had been suitably modified.

Though some modifications might be exaggerated, they remained fundamentally civilian! Defensively oriented!

At least, that's what the Lord of Machine God said!

The truck raced ahead, spearheading the convoy.

As the first to complete Mechanical Ascension, personally overseen by the Lord of Machine God, Optimus Prime was unmatched both in physical strength and weaponry.

This led to him leaving a cloud of dust on the Gobi desert, far ahead of his brothers who couldn't keep up.

When the steel tide of War Machines saw a solitary large truck charging at them, they paused momentarily.

Even those without awakened Mechanical Souls had basic thinking capabilities, and their small electronic brains couldn't fathom what was happening.

Could it be a defector?

As they hesitated, the massive truck in front suddenly screeched to a halt.

While braking furiously, the super-large container it was towing slowly opened, revealing a huge, magnificent, gigantic missile.

Its size was much larger than a dozen War Machines combined!

Even without the ability to perceive energy fluctuations, the startling design and size were enough to indicate that it wasn't just a weather bomb for rainmaking.

This missile thrown out, even without exploding, could crush a large number of War Machines!

Bang!

As soon as the truck stabilized, Brother Zhuzi launched the enormous missile.

He didn't even bother to aim; he was surrounded by enemies anyway.

As the missile roared through the air, the God followers accompanying the Gate of Truth, waiting for Lette to act, were all stunned.

What does it mean?

What happened?

Wasn't it said that the other side had civilian Mechanical Species?

Boom!!!!

The sound of thunder roared across, reaching up to ninety thousand miles!

On the ground, it was as if a sun was born!

The majestic scene made Lette involuntarily squint his eyes.

How dazzling! How spectacular! How exhilarating!

Is this the blooming flower of yield? So vibrant, so enchantingly beautiful!

The surging airwaves rolled with overwhelming might, instantly crushing War Machine Species beyond the blast zone.

Those within the explosion radius fared better, instantly vaporized by the high temperature, dying peacefully, definitely, without a doubt.

Half of the forces vanished into smoke and dust like that.

The traveling members of the Gate of Truth had no shock or horror left but blank minds.

What happened?

Is there some disparity in our understanding of "civilian"?

Is this something Mechanical Species could achieve in a world without a God?

If it truly can happen, then what is the meaning of God's existence?

If God's strength is irrelevant, then is there no need for God to exist?

But this new species has their own God!

The more this was the case, the more it proved that their God was the most pure form of God, one freed from lowly interests, a God distinct from strength and might, a pure God.

Then what are we?

Mere imposters basking in the fame of the so-called divine might? Hollow entities?

A single missile brought destruction to the enemy and provoked deep introspection within these divine beings.

But the surviving New Mechanical Species did not give them time to contemplate divinity.

Though arriving late, they followed suit, launching a frenzied attack against the enemy alongside Optimus Prime.

One after another, dark cannons slowly rose, aimed at the disordered enemy!

"Don't underestimate civilians; do you understand the defensive nature's worth?"

Brother Zhuzi lightly waved his finger: "Exterminating all enemies is the best defense!

Target the enemy forces.

Engage with free fire, cover with firepower.

Open fire!"

With Optimus Prime's command, the gunfire engulfed the enemy's ranks.
