Monsters Are Coming

Chapter 179: Doomsday Cataclysm Immortal State_4

[Just like the mindless Insect Warriors, even many powerful races are terrified and dare not provoke them lightly.]

[Even with the strongest civilization technology, if wisdom cannot be transformed into strength, in the eyes of the stronger, it is nothing but weak ants to be easily plundered.]

Qi Sheng nodded.

As the guidance said, wisdom is the source of civilization's progress, but when wisdom fails to bring racial competitiveness, it becomes meaningless to the higher-level powers.

While analyzing the war mural on the dome of the Dark Race Space, he learned that the Dark Race Legion had plundered a Big World during their conquest process.

Logically, the beings of the Big World should possess stronger strength, yet their technological advancement focused entirely on building the spiritual world, neglecting combat power.

This world was easily plundered for resources by the Dark Race Legion, and the entire world's beings were slaughtered.

This demonstrates that under the law of survival of the fittest, strength is the sole measure of life level.

Perception moved through the Small World, over mountains and across broken landscapes, occasionally discovering beings hiding in the Underground Space or building shelters, but the predominant life form had become Immortal Zombies.

But Qi Sheng still harbored a doubt in his heart.

Could it be that the Ghostly Clan wreaked havoc in the Small World merely to test the power of the Immortal Virus?

In reality, experimenting on the Small World's beings was meaningless, as the strength of the Monster World is incomparable to that of the Small World.

The Immortal Virus's intensity, while considerably high in the decomposition, could easily destroy the Small World, yet it pales in the context of the Monster World, possibly unable even to surpass the Colorful Mist Coast.

Faced with the Black Tide, not only could the Immortal Virus fail to infect the Evil Spirit, but it might also become nourishment for the Black Tide's growth.

What significance does developing such a weapon hold?

The Lord of Jile's technological development, though roughly crafted initially, at least had a grand vision.

If successful, it would assist the Lord of Jile in ascending to the World-level battlefield, becoming a dominating force at the table.

With doubt in his heart, he and the guidance traversed the space tunnel back to the Underground Space.

Images continued to unfold, detailing the Ghostly Clan's process of creating the Immortal Virus in Qi Sheng's mind.

As information flooded his mind, upon piecing the numerous details together, Qi Sheng suddenly realized he had guessed wrong.

Previously, he speculated that the Ghostly Clan created the Immortal Virus to enhance racial competitiveness, but it turned out not to be the case.

The images advanced to the point where the Ghostly Clan captured the Sixth Generation Primordial, answering many puzzles.

The Ghostly Clan, deluded, sought the power of "Prayer" of the Sixth Generation Primordial, which is why they imprisoned the Primordial Monster in the 18th layer of the Underground Space.

Through behavior analysis, it was deduced that the Ghostly Clan knew that the Sixth Generation Primordial's "Blessing" could yield power by fulfilling a target wish.

In the high-competition environment of the Monster World, without Rule Power, one would only become the food of a Strong Clan, yet the Ghostly Clan dreamed of extracting the Rule Power of the Sixth Generation Primordial to gain room for further growth.

This plan was to unfold in two steps, simultaneously.

The first step was to devise a Power of Prayer acquisition plan.

The second step was to attempt to strip the Rule Power from the Sixth Generation Primordial's Blessing.

From the perspective of the Ghostly Clan, both plans would proceed smoothly, ultimately granting them unimaginable growth potential.

However, while the first step succeeded, the second step saw no progress.

The Ghostly Clan referred to the first step as the Savior Plan.

Once they obtained the Prayer rules, the Ghostly Clan imagined two methods to swiftly acquire Wish Power.

The first method was to find a Small World and address the poverty, disease, war, etc., of its beings.

The reason for choosing the Small World is that the needs of its beings are easily met.

However, the beings of the Monster World are different; their demands are impossible for the Ghostly Clan to satisfy.

For instance, "Help me eliminate the Black Tide that threatens my race next door."

Or "Help my race win a certain war."

The most basic demands of the Monster World's beings would require terrifying resources to fulfill, and many goals were unachievable by the Ghostly Clan's power.

But the beings of the Small World are different, with desires that are easily fulfilled through simple means.

The first method of the first plan was to provide various benefits to the Small World beings, helping to solve issues.

But numerous problematic drawbacks emerged during the plan's simulation.

Fulfilling demands is essentially a constantly climbing curve.

Once basic needs were met, the Small World's beings would require help achieving even grander goals.

The conclusion of the simulation was that it might ultimately lead to demands the Ghostly Clan cannot satisfy, such as a being of the Small World wishing for immortality, longevity, etc.

Resource supplies would also rise exponentially during the process of fulfilling wishes.

This contradicted the original intention of the Ghostly Clan, turning them instead into providers for the beings of the lower world.

More importantly, this plan would not sustainably produce Wish Power, as at some point, the Ghostly Clan could no longer fulfill the wishes of the lower world's beings.

Thus, after the simulation of the first plan ended, the second plan was conceived.

This plan was to create an apocalypse, then appear as a Savior.
