Ma Yuan Venerate King Buddha could not help saying, "Buddha, something is very wrong with this Law Heavenly Eye, how could the Jinlan Kasaya be worth only two thousand Merit? I am unconvinced!"

Guanyin subconsciously shook her head and said, "The Heavenly Dao is supremely just!"

Universal Virtue Bodhisattva very reluctantly said, "How could this be? Why is it like this? When Bai Jin used this method before, it wasn't this result at all, the Heavenly Dao is showing bias towards the Heavenly Court, wasn't it said that the great momentum is with Buddha?"

The Buddha looked down at the Holy Decree in his hands, his mighty voice reverberated, "The Heavenly Dao is absolutely just, without fault; the fault lies with us, to use the Heavenly Dao as a judge was the greatest mistake from the start."

"Buddha, what do you mean by these words?"

"Heavenly Dao is vast, all creatures between Heaven and Earth are under the Heavenly Dao. The Jinlan Kasaya is an acquired object and also belongs to the realm of Heaven and Earth.

From the perspective of Heavenly Dao, the Jinlan Kasaya is as insignificant as a speck of dust or a drop of water; whereas Merit transcends beyond Heaven and Earth and is naturally far more valuable in the eyes of the Heavenly Dao than the Jinlan Kasaya."

All Buddhas and Bodhisattvas suddenly realized.

"The Diplomacy God adjudicates by the Heavenly Dao, confirming that before Heavenly Dao, Merit is most important."

Suddenly, a voice arises outside: "Buddhism slanders our Great Emperor of Heavenly Court, what explanation does the Buddha have?"

Silence suddenly falls within the Great Leiyin Temple, all Buddhas looking solemnly inward.

The Buddha turned to Buddha of Tranquil Light and Joy and said, "Trouble yourselves to meet with the Diplomacy God on behalf of Buddhism, express our apologies, and compensate with two million Merit Coins."

Buddha of Tranquil Light and Joy couldn't help but exclaim, "Buddha, we can reevaluate this again."

"Defeat is defeat. In the hearts of the Primordial Beings, Heavenly Dao holds supreme fairness, and its live broadcast has convinced the Primordial Beings of our defeat. Buddhism's reputation is tarnished; what we must do now is mitigate losses rather than outright denial. Do you understand?"

All Buddhas and Bodhisattvas respectfully chant, "Namo Amitabha Buddha~" their expressions sorrowful.

"Buddha of Tranquil Light and Joy, you need to make this sacrifice and bear the malice for our Buddhism."

Are you asking me to bear this burden? Buddha of Tranquil Light and Joy's face changed, and he hastily asked, "Buddha, is there no other way?"

"Forgetting honors and disgraces, not caring about gains and losses, with all senses purified, thus reaches the wisdom of Nirvana."

Helplessly, Buddha of Tranquil Light and Joy answered, "Disciple understands!" He rose, turning fearlessly and walked out.

All Buddhas and Bodhisattvas watched Buddha of Tranquil Light and Joy leave with admiration in their eyes. It's hard on you.

Above the Spiritual Mountain, suddenly a yellow cloud appeared, upon which sat a plump Buddha - Buddha of Tranquil Light and Joy.

The watching beings of the Three Realms all turned their gaze upon the yellow cloud.

Buddha of Tranquil Light and Joy gazed at Shen Gongbao, suddenly realizing, it's his turn to represent Buddhism; why should he bear this unjust blame?

An idea struck him, and he spoke loudly: "A hundred years ago, Buddha discerned a Great Tribulation in the Three Realms and secluded himself to devise a way to resolve it for all beings.

A Bodhisattva named Universal Virtue, upon hearing the Jinlan Kasaya reached Heavenly Court, acted rashly without understanding the root cause or discerning cause and effect, stole the Buddha's posts, forged Buddha's decrees, and coerced the Heavenly Court.

Thus the fellowship between Buddhism and Heavenly Court was severed, and the reputation of Emperor Gouchen was damaged; his guilt is indeed great~

All Buddhas decided to punish Universal Virtue Bodhisattva by suppressing him under the Spiritual Mountain, to copy sutras and reflect on his mistakes, not to be released lightly." His powerful voice echoed between Heaven and Earth.

Inside the Great Leiyin Temple, Universal Virtue Bodhisattva's face stiffened, disbelievingly watching the outside, while the other Buddhas and Bodhisattvas looked at Universal Virtue with odd expressions.

Universal Virtue Bodhisattva anxiously said, "Buddha, Buddha of Tranquil Light and Joy is contradicting your decree, speaking nonsense, please rectify the chaos, Buddha." His heart panicked; if this was established, he would become the second Guanyin.

The Buddha calmly stated, "Universal Virtue Bodhisattva, Ubiquitous is everywhere, Virtue is the utmost noble righteousness. This refers to the aspiration of Bodhicitta, the actions of body, speech, and mind, all being universally equal and pure, embodying all virtues with a courageous heart to save the declining Buddhism! Namo Universal Virtue Bodhisattva!"

All Bodhisattvas and Buddhas in the hall simultaneously brought their hands together and bowed to Universal Virtue Bodhisattva, chanting: "Namo Universal Virtue Bodhisattva!"

Universal Virtue Bodhisattva felt darkness before his eyes, and a thought flashed through his mind, it's over!

Atop the Spiritual Mountain, Shen Gongbao said with a cheerful grin, "Responsibility is indeed clearly pushed away."

Buddha of Tranquil Light and Joy earnestly said, "I understand Emperor's anger, but this was solely the act of Universal Virtue Bodhisattva, who has now been severely punished. I ask Divine Monarch to convey to Emperor; I on behalf of all the Buddhas of Buddhism express our apologies for this incident, adhering to Emperor's suggestion by offering up two million Merit Coins as compensation."

A twinkle of regret passed through Shen Gongbao's eyes, wishing Buddhism would stubbornly resist to the end, their losses growing with more excuses, unexpected that Buddhism would decisively throw Universal Virtue Bodhisattva to save their reputation, without hesitation in compensating two million in Merit, such wisdom and courage!
