Mack and Gur were picking their way carefully down a tunnel. Though Mack had wrapped both of them up in illusions, they nonetheless were cautious in their behavior as they walked down the dark, unlit tunnel. Occasionally, they'd feel a rumble through the rock as attacks raged in the distance.

<Any idea how much further to go?>

Mack shook his head. <My senses can't quite reach that far. And there's something about the earth here that interferes with them a bit.>

Minutes passed in silence.

<There's something here I don't trust.>

<Hm?>

<This is a bad plan.>

<You should have mentioned that earlier.>

<Right, and I have a hard time thinking it's idiotic. Strange perhaps. But not idiotic.>

More time passed.

<I'm sensing a large chamber ahead.>

Mack and Gur slowed their already gentle pace even more as the tunnel curved just a bit, showing a bit of light at the end. They approached cautiously, peeking around the edge. The tunnel came up midpoint in a large, rough-hewn elongated sphere, perhaps 50 meters high, by 50 wide and 100 long. The chambre ws mostly bare, except for a pile of clothe in one edge, with a bloodied Naga lying on top, seemingly unconscous.

Gur glances at Mack who nods. Gur takes off, scaling across the ceiling at a silent sprint, as Mack focuses to keep him wrapped up in the illusion. As Gur pushes off the ceiling and arcs towards the prone figure, he graps and sharpens a massive amount of experience into a blade.

He falls like a meteor.

The blade extends towards Alldir's neck.

With a loud clang, Gur's blade is blocked and he's knocked into the wall. He's dazed for just a moment, before he looks up to see what Mack already has.
