But before they could press him for answers, Austin suddenly began to chuckle softly to himself before standing up to his feet and staring at the night sky.

After reviewing his newly acquired summons, a new idea had quickly taken root in his mind, and Austin swiftly turned around to face his wives.

The next morning, a group of high-ranking farmers from Greenfield village had been summoned to the Han mansion for a highly unusual meeting.

There were five of them in total, and each one had a puzzled look on their faces as they sat quietly in the guest room.

None of them had the slightest idea why the Fourth Prince had summoned them.

After all, the previous Lord had never once invited farmers into the estate's mansion, and it certainly wasn't for anything this formal.

However, a few minutes later, the doors opened, but instead of Prince Austin, it was Lady Lina who walked in to address them.

"Good morning everyone, please sit." she urged everyone to sit and as the farmers complied, she began the meeting.

Since the wedding was just around the corner, Austin had several plans in motion.

Unfortunately for him, a handful of the estate's wealthier farmers had recently shown signs of shifting their loyalty.

They've been tempted by gold and greener pastures beyond the estate, but Austin wasn't going to beg them for their allegiance.

Instead, he decided to observe them more closely, and what better way to do that than to first summon them directly to his mansion.

To carry out his plan, he needed them in his mansion first.

But as the meeting commenced, three maids entered the room carrying trays of freshly cut fruit and chilled juice, which immediately drew the interest of the farmers, causing each of them to salivate at the sight of the fruit and juice

But what they didn't know was that they weren't alone because standing behind each of them, were five scary looking demonic scarecrows

Days passed by and just as Austin had hoped, the fruits and juices presented at the meeting became the talk of the village.

The high-ranking farmers wasted no time spreading the word, especially to the mid- and low-ranking farmers across Greenfield and the nearby villages under the Jade Swallow Estate.

They also shared the word that the prince had given them fruit seeds and promised a generous reward to any farmer who could successfully harvest the fruits within three days.

Of course, the farmers were skeptical and reluctant to do as their prince requested because no seed of a fruit had ever been planted and harvested in just three days.

And considering how the Jade Swallow Estate's soil had historically produced some of the worst yields in the province, most farmers assumed it was an impossible task.

"So, How in the world does the prince expect us to grow anything when the soil itself is cursed?" They muttered among themselves.

But when the low ranking farmers witnessed how the strawberry and cantaloupe trees had grown and yielded a lot of fruits in less than three days, they were rendered speechless because it was unlike anything they had ever seen or heard before.

Also, they were even more surprised to find out that the prince had rewarded the high ranking farmers with three jars of juice each, along with two baskets of fruits as well.

'"But how?!" They wondered.

"Wasn't the soil supposed to be useless?"

"So how could a seed possibly bear fruit in three days?"These were the thoughts spiraling around the minds of the low ranking farmers, but since no one could explain it, they could only arrive at one conclusion.

'His Highness must have somehow managed to find a way to break the curse plaguing the estate.'
