Evelyn lay down in bed while staring at the spinning fan. Penelope noticed her deep stare and decided to appear above her head,
"Hello there."
Evelyn scoffed, "What do you want, Pene?"
"The better question is, what are you thinking about Evelyn?"
Evelyn stared at her face before pushing her away. Penelope fell from her bed,
"That's mean!"
"You were invading my vision."
Penelope stood up and placed her face on Evelyn's bed,
"So, what's bothering you?"
Evelyn turned her face to see her, "It's Aric and our lady."
Penelope raised an eyebrow, "What about them? They are fighting again over who gets the blanket or fighting over who gets to turn off the air conditioner?"
"Nope, none of that. I shouldn't be telling you this."
She frowned, "Whattt? Tell me now!"
Evelyn side-eyed her and let out a deep breath, "I know both of them like each other. But, our lady is a little impatient and always wants things to go her way, while Mr Aric is very cautious and doesn't want to take the next step."
"I heard about it from our lady, but that man used to have kids. He used to be married. You would think he would be braver with his feelings, like how he was before the big demon fight."
She rubbed her face in annoyance, "These two give me a headache. Do you have any idea how to make them both at least honest?"
Penelope put a finger on her cheek, "Aric could always just give his life to her. That always worked from where I'm from."

"..."
Evelyn stayed silent as she realised this was the wrong person to be asking advice on romance,
I forgot she just escaped from Callista, and her scars are not healed. It feels like I have known her for a while, though.
Penelope continued, "If that's not your thing, Aric could always just shower the lady with expensive gifts until she makes him hers."
Evelyn's mouth opened a bit, but no words came out of her mouth. She was surprised hearing this, but she was intrigued and wanted to know what else she had experienced,
"Any other way? Something...not so extreme?"
"Hmmmm...dear lady could always just force him to be hers by means of-"
Evelyn touched her head immediately, which made Penelope confused and stop speaking.
"...Nope. Absolutely not happening. We are not going down that road."
Penelope pouted as Evelyn removed her hand. "Why not? It's efficient!"
"Because our lady deserves happiness, not forced happiness. Besides, forcing someone into anything is just bad form."
"You didn't say anything when I did my ways in Ashwick."
Evelyn looked away in guilt, "That was different."
She turned back to her, "Okay, here's what we're going to do."
"First," Evelyn showed her pointer finger, "we need to create opportunities for them to spend more time together. Alone. Without interruptions."
Penelope stared at the ceiling, "But they already sleep together every night."
"Not like that. What I mean is making them do stuff alone. Maybe painting together, gardening, or anything. Cooking even. These two will do anything for the other person. Lady Seraphina stood in the rain when Aric was fixing houses in Ashwick. She's always the one to stay up with him, even if it's 2 in the morning. "
"If we can just make them do stuff together, they may be more honest with each other."
Penelope hummed thoughtfully, "Or, we could just play along with their fears. I mean, there's got to be something Mr Aric and the lady are scared of. "
She snapped her fingers, "Oh! What about bugs?"
Evelyn frowned, "She's not scared of that. I have played pranks before with her; she is immune to petty things like that."
But then, her mind got an idea.
"Well...now that you mentioned it. There is one creature she is scared of."
Penelope raised her eyebrow, "And what would that be?"
"Dogs." Evelyn said.
Penelope blinked slowly as if digesting the information. Her face was more confused than ever,
"D...ogs? Like those cute fluffy things adventurers have?"
"Yep. Dogs."
"But why dogs? She fought a demon head-to-head and wasn't even sweating!"
She shrugged, "Beats me. Don't mention this to anyone. This is only known between Marguerite, James, and me. And now you know too."
Penelope stood up, "So, how would one hypothetically get a dog into this estate?"
She smirked, "I have my ways. I'll be playing matchmaker."
