When a human kills their first monster, they absorb its soul, gaining access to some of its power.  Most people consider this a blessing.  Power and skills beyond the limits of their old body. In Alissa's mind it's more a curse. Fused with a succubus, she seduces people around her whether she wants to or not.  And so she spends her life working as a delver, heading into labyrinths to gather materials and treasures.  At least until a lucky encounter sends her down the path towards friendship, bloodshed, and the dark truths that lie at the bottom of the labyrinths.
