Awaiting, predating, consuming, absorbing. Years upon years of accumulation had passed since 'it', now 'she', or rather 'they', had come into being.
From its earlier victims, those arrogant cultivators from the Chaos Sea who reached in to her nascent form. Their hands carried great power, but negligence. Their fate was their undoing.
But it taught them one simple truth. To survive, one must consume. To consume, one must become strong. One fed into the other in an eternal cycle.
They knew their lifespan was limited. The coming of those great deities brought with them sentience. Ruthless experiments that had the funny result of benefiting their ability to think. That was when it calculated, and realized the limitation their existence.
A single chaos cycle was unacceptable. It needed to prolong it.
Honestly, it was shockingly easy how that family of cultivators fell. But nevertheless, they gave it lifespan. Their cultivated concepts added to their own. And in the years since, many wanderers suffered the same fate.
From goatmen exploring the world, to a shadowy figure wandering in. To a woman desperately escaping and her angelic pursuers.
It was only right for them, as living beings to pay homage to their creators. Let their bodies becomes soil, their Domains(Dao) become nutrients for their growth. Let them return their existences to the world will that guided the universe.
Atropos, Lachesis, Clotho. The trinity Heavenly Dao of the Hellenism Chaos World.
Their origin was one to be respected and revered. Yet it also made no difference to the great sea below. A hateful being who didn't know its place. A foreign deity who dared to think itself more than another piece into their design.
Their avatar, the fused form of their three selves came into contact with the little doll Da Hai had thrown out.
They could tell it was a treasure, but what did it do? They couldn't comprehend it until they'd absorbed and studied it. Yet those canine features gave them an uncomfortable feeling.
Then an explosion of gas covered them.
…
Da Hai felt the injury burn. On a conceptual basis, he'd been hurt by the holy power. But he knew it was ultimately beneficial to him.
Previously, he'd killed the angel before it truly got going. The Throne hadn't been powerful enough to make a real move.
The basis of holy magic had shown themselves again in the sisters of fate. Three traditionally Greek goddesses somehow learned, and deployed angelic abilities that acted to erode Da Hai's supernatural powers, namely his Dao
It made one ponder as to their relationship with angels. However, Da Hai didn't have time to examine things deeply. He mentally controlled the treasure he'd refined to act.
What a fortuitous encounter it was to find the cadaver of the wolf. He had been in need of an auxiliary weapon ever since he lost his sword. Yurlunggur luckily enough, didn't care what Da Hai did to the denizens of Asgard.
On that godly domain, the corpse of the god slaying wolf who'd personally ended the life of the Allfather lay like discarded trash. Whatever happened in the battle that ruined Asgard, nobody cared enough about the deceased.
Even the mighty divine beast was forgotten alongside an apex existence like the giant Surt. Yet its immensely strong body was preserved, and with it came powerful properties.
Invincible fur and gods piercing fangs. Da Hai had never encountered tweet like that before. It seemed Fenrir had cultivated to be especially brutal in penetrating magical defences. It fenrir had been alive, he could even bypass Da Hai's innate defensive magic. Even reinforced dragon scales would've been pierced.
"I would've liked to share notes with you Fenrir," Da Hai spoke softly yet respectfully. "Your Dao must've been designed to ignore any and all forms of defences. Truly remarkable.
"I will not apologize for desecrating your corpse however. In this universe, everyone must do as they desire to. I never met you nor known you enough to ignore what you could benefit me.
"Your body is even better at channeling chaotic sword qi then my sword had been."
The ice wolf sculpture, created from the cadaver of Fenrir, released a howl. It's limbs, motionless despite climbing to the same altitude as the Moirai, seemed to come alive.
In the next moment, a huge expansion of chaotic sword qi manifested. Pure unadulterated, unfiltered destruction. The same energy that ripped apart even the Chaos Sea's fabric of reality.
Time, reality, distance, ruin, elements, relationship. No concept was safe from being exterminated by chaotic sword qi. It ignored any semblance of resistance from the sisters.
Had Fenrir still existed, and during the same era as Pangu's own adventures. The two would've probably developed that technique together.

A hole was punched through the world of stars, opening it to the Chaos Sea. Da Hai heard the pained screams of an elderly man ringing through his ears. At the same time, the white bull pulled back desperately.
It's hoofs had been encased, being erased on a fundamental level. Chaotic sword qi ate its tribulation lightning with no issue. Only its quick thinking saved it from total annihilation.
The piercing scream from a half devoured Moirai emitted from the three faced six armed body. The bull had saved her again, even if Lachesis' face and torso had been carved in.
Da Hai felt the suppression of this Heavenly Dao type entity weakening. He quickly commanded the wolf to pursue. He could've expanded chaotic sword qi even further to completely decimate this universe's structural integrity, but he didn't deem it necessary.
His ocean body also rose up in pursuit of the Moirai. Their heavily damaged appearance was trying to heal, but it evidently took a lot out of them.
Chaotic sword qi should ideally vaporise on a fundamental level. With the ice sculpture in hand, Da Hai's usage of it had advanced to another level. Not as powerful as Pangu had been, but enough to eradicate aspects of the Moirai.
He could tell that the healing Lachesis was only doing so from repurposing other Dao Laws she had access to. The ones that had formerly formed her had been destroyed.
'Those laws must've once been Daos of others she'd eaten,' Da Hai concluded. As a cultivator himself, he found the act saddening. The Chaos Godfiends of old would balk at the sisters even more so.
The sculpture of the wolf chased the bull across the firmament of stars. Under Da Hai's control, it launched two more attacks, each time punching holes through the firmament.
The screams of a foreign man filled the innate god and the Heavenly Dao entity's ears. Even so, the bull refused to allow its owner to come to harm. It was surprisingly fast when it needed to be.
Just as well, Da Hai's immense body collided with the bull. Even as the bull formed a circular shield of plasma around itself to escape, Da Hai left bleeding wounds from its stomach.
"Go my treasure. Kill!"
"Mmmmoooo!!!"
The bull narrowed his eyes into slits, his pupils constricting with focus. He heard the command from the women sitting on his back.
"Protect us beast."
A soft sigh escaped the white bull's nostrils. It obeyed all the same, but in a slightly different way.
This entire time, as Da Hai fought its owner, the former had sent the latter into frantic panic. Her instructions became less refined, and more reactionary. The bull wasn't like the others, he was still fairly new all things considered. Less broken compared to the rest.
…
A long time ago, before the great exodus his previous owner took. When its home in the heavens had yet to undergo the greatest war it had ever experienced. He was born to be a symbol.
Weapons and symbols walked hand in hand. The great god Marduk commanded the heavens, drawing in numerous disciples to fight for him. His cultivation had reached such a profound level that even creatures in the Chaos Sea were trampled.
He was born after Marduk slew the mother dragon. But he was also born early enough to become powerful. So powerful in fact, that he was recognized as the great Bull of Heaven.
His hubris had been so high back then, nigh invincible. His cultivation had also surpassed native innate lifeforms from the Chaos Sea. He had rarely suffered any defeats.
Only she had been able to beat him. His first master, Ishtar the great lady. He was reduced in a sense, his great lightning was no longer the most powerful weapon, and his physique proved inferior. The bull as a symbol remained, but only in so far as a mount for her.
Looking back, that was only the first humiliation. That puny human king came next, embarrassing his lady who subsequently unleashed him. He was bested again, this time by human insects.
Humans, whose cultivation should not have advanced as fast as they did.
Then the third humiliation came. The white winged army descended. Their holy voices, bizarre faces, and scorching heat shattered his divine body permanently.
He was one of the lucky ones though, despite dying in the initial battle. His lady saved him in the form of a spirit, more than he could say for the ram who married his former wife.
The fourth humiliation came soon after. The white winged ones chased him and his lady, destroying the woman who surpassed him in the process. To humiliate her was also humiliating him. After all, she was his proven superior.
The fifth and final humiliation would last for eons. He no longer kept track of time, only lamenting his fate as another concept in a larger sea. Albeit stronger then most. He didn't know if he was more, or less fortunate than his lady.
Even his symbol was taken. The heavenly bull, storm god, one who rides the clouds and rules lightning. Taken by the will of this heaven to be used for another. What was he but another toy?
What had become of millions of years of cultivation? Millions of years of accumulated life experience?
"Mmmmooooo!!!"
…
Arching his back, the bull flung Moirai from his back. His body moving to stomp down on the ice sculpture treasure.
Da Hai had already given the signal to unleash chaotic sword qi. The bull, sensing this, attacked with the sum total of all his power.
In the hazy sea that was the Moirai's aura, the heavenly beast shone through most of all. He allowed Da Hai to detect his own presence in complete isolation for the first time.
FOOM!
The bull was enveloped by the cloud of destructive gas. Spacetime and stars collapsed around him, his own electricity was chewed into nothingness. The auspicious clouds he could generate was dispersed.
The bull glared forward with clear defiance. He roared in the same manner as a divine beast announcing its presence. It shook Da Hai.
"An immortal who not only discovered the great principle, but had also found enough variation to move forward." The eight headed serpent surmised.
"In my own world, you are a Primal Origin Chaos Immortal. Worthy of respect."
Despite saying this, Da Hai knew the bull was still far from enough to take him. Even in this battle, he was little more than an auxiliary piece for the sisters.
The bull's nose burned away. His hoofs were devoured alongside his muscles and bones. Despite his best resistance, he was eaten alive.
"Mmmmoooo!!!"
As a last ditch attempt, the intact skull charged forward. His horns, perhaps its most defining aspect, resisted erosion for a time. At this range, it struck the ice sculpture on the tip of its nose
CHINK!
A small crack appeared as a result. The treasure had been brand new in the first place. More powerful, but less refined. In its channeling state, it was more fragile despite its rank.
It was also the bull's dying move. His entire body had disintegrated. It was not like before, when Da Hai personally crushed him. The consciousness, alongside the existence of the heavenly bull were beyond repair.
The chain reaction from the bull's demise was great. The loud echo issued a bang throughout the firmament, displacing constellations. The Moirai screamed, her three aspect were suffering enormous damage from a large portion of her laws being eradicated.
Da Hai rose, watching the last piece of the bull fading away. He felt a slim message reaching his brain.
"Thank you."
Da Hai sighed, his own Heavenly Dao was a naughty petulant child. Yet it never forced others into thralls.
"It'll take some time to be usable again." Da Hao retracted Fenrir's cadaver. Then he moved his ocean body in the form of a single whip.
He had no words left for the Moirai, who had been spasming from the loss. He smashed downwards, crushing her form in a single strike.
The echo was not as loud this time, but the potency of the physical blow was greater. The marble texture of the three faced, six armed goddess was crushed in an instant.
Subsequently, the floor of the firmament of stars was smashed open.
FOOM!
Really to shook violently. It's barriers exposed the other side, far beneath the world of stars and the world of clouds. Down below, Da Hai finally saw land.
A world of numerous differing biomes, but two distinctly tall mountains. The clouds that dotted the sky had been forcibly scattered as an aftershock of Da Hai's strike, but he could still tell that those mountains would reach above the clouds.
Chunks of the reality barrier were falling like broken glass panels. Da Hai quickly absorbed the ocean back into himself. This new layer was more complex than the former two, and would need exploring.
For now, Da Hai needed to nurse his injuries.
…
Thebes.
After a night of partying, men and women were lying in various compromised positions across a courtyard. Mortals, and some trained warriors could not bear the strength of the alcohol served.
The guess of honour slept soundly on a large bed. A young man who appeared barely into his teens. Nude as the day he was born into the world, with a rich physique that could only be described as godly. His silver white hair was unkept after a night of pleasure.
At his side, Semele, the beautiful princess of Thebes slept soundly. She was unaware of the larger implications of the night proper, being only a young girl.
Suddenly, the silver white haired young male was jolted awake. A hand over his chest. His rough breathing scared his lover awake.
"Wa…what?" Semele said in a daze.
"The immortals," the young man said, gripping his forehead to nurse a sudden headache. His face contorted into a troubled look. "Whatever, I'll worry about it later. Just go back to sleep."
