"Ha-ha, just kidding~"
She licked her lips softly, then moved closer. Her knees brushed against his thighs as she carefully straddled his lap, every motion slow and deliberate, like she'd done it a thousand times in her dreams. Her hands rested on his shoulders, light and possessive, before she leaned in close enough for him to feel her breath on his skin.
Her fingers traced his collar, nails dragging along his skin with a dangerous gentleness. Her lips parted as her fangs lengthened, and she pressed her mouth to his neck.
Chuckk~
A sharp, wet sensation. The point where Fang pierced flesh sent a shiver through Leo's spine. Her mouth latched to his skin, and the sucking began, slow at first, then deeper, greedier.
"Hmm~" Ophis's voice vibrated against his skin. He could feel her body pressing close, her chest soft, her hips grinding lightly on his lap as she drank.
Leo's hands instinctively clenched around her waist, pulling her closer. His pulse raced under her lips as Ophis drank the nectar of his blood, her tongue sliding along the wound in long, hungry motions.
Slurrrrppppp~
"Hmmm~" Ophis moaned, her body writhing with each swallow.
Lick~
Each sound echoed softly through the empty rooftop. Leo's face grew hotter by the second. He didn't understand why this always happened... why he got dizzy, why his chest thumped so wildly, why his whole body reacted so much whenever she drank his blood.
And worse, his lower body reacted too—way too much!!
He tried to suppress it, clenching his jaw. This was exactly why he dreaded moments like this... Even the simple touch of a woman's hand on his body was enough to make his nerves jolt.
Boy… he was getting far too sensitive because of her.
"Ophis… you're making it louder… just… silent, please…" Leo's words tumbled out, half pleading, half dazed.
Ophis's eyes rolled back slightly as she parted her lips from his neck, a soft gasp escaping her. Blood shimmered on her lips, dripping slowly down her chin. Her dazed pink eyes glowed faintly as she looked at him, her face flushed, glazed and dreamy, gazing at him as if she'd tasted a banquet after years of hunger.
"Food tastes delicious when you make it louder~" she murmured, her voice turning low and velvety. The tone carried a dangerous sweetness that made Leo's heart skip a beat and his breath tremble.
The way she said it… it didn't sound like teasing anymore.
It sounded like desire?
Leo gulped and averted his eyes from her. She looked strangely… bigger in his eyes, like a proper adult. He wasn't sure if it was just an illusion or something real, but seeing that made him feel weird now.
"Just... finish it," he muttered, struggling to control all of his senses and trembling lips. Ophis hazily saw his lips… her lips moved towards his as she parted them, but then a sudden pain in her stomach made her flinch. She turned instead to his neck, her eyes turning into dangerous slits before she moved closer and said in a sultry tone,
"Leave everything to me~" as she plunged her fangs in again and drank his nectar furiously.
Slurrrrppppp~
"Hmmm~"
Lick~
Slurrrrppppp~
"Hmmm~"
Leo's hands trembled as he touched her small frame, holding onto his trembling senses… for what felt like an eternity and finally...
"Aaahhhhh~"
Ophis let out a strange moaning sound. Leo flinched, his face turning bright red. "What was that for?"
Ophis licked her lips, her eyes still glazed with euphoria. She didn't react until her stomach felt full, then she slowly opened her eyes and whispered seductively,
"That hit the spot~"
"Have you had enough, my lady?" Leo asked in an amused tone.
Ophis smirked, "Sorry, my servant, but I'm far from enough… My lips are so thirsty, and who knows… I might keep sucking you for the entire day~" She smirked wickedly.
Before hopping off his lap and moving toward the stairs, she called, "Come on… Let's go."
Leo blinked as she finished and left him behind. With a slightly pained expression, he stood up. However, he flinched at the sight of the bulge in his pants.
He definitely could not go before the students like this, but…
"Ouch!"
Ophis suddenly fell from the stairs, her hazy eyes still not fully clear. Leo was forced to follow her downstairs, holding his bag to hide his embarrassment.
…Meanwhile, at the back of the rooftop, a group of students stood frozen in horror.
Those students, who had been busy painting a name board, halted in mid-movement—the brush stroke frozen, their legs squatting, even the girl about to pour water from the bucket stopped in the middle.
Everyone… literally everyone's face turned beet red as they couldn't believe what they had just heard!!
It was as if time itself had stopped the moment they heard the zip opening sound.
Frozen by horror, embarrassed by imagination, and terrified of the people who dared to do such a thing here.
And finally... a girl shouted, "Wha the fuck!!"
Meanwhile, Leo and Ophis walked down without a worry on their faces.
Ophis nudged her nose, muttering, "Damn it…" Annoyed at herself for falling down like a little girl who couldn't even watch her step, she glanced at Leo, who was walking beside her and…
"Why are you holding your bag in front?" she asked with a curious tone.
Leo gave her a weird look as if to say, 'It's all because of you, idiot!' Shaking his head, he changed the subject, "Shouldn't you be in the class helping the other students for the festival?"
Ophis smirked, shaking her head. "Tsk, tsk… How lame do you think I am? The mighty Dracula's descendant? No way I would work with some peasants!"
Leo looked at her with a judgmental expression. "So… you just didn't want to work there, so you escaped? Right?"
Ophis, a soft blush dusting her cheeks, coughed and averted her eyes. "Ahem… I don't know what you're talking about!"
Leo shook his head, thinking, 'This girl…' He sighed inwardly.
"Anyway, enough about me… Why aren't you participating in the competition? The… 400-meter dash, right?" Ophis asked curiously.
"Well… I'm not sure—"
"Let's go for a run, baby~" Ophis interrupted, grabbing his wrist and dragging him without hesitation.
****
In a matter of minutes, Leo found himself standing on the ground, an awkward look on his face.
"Come on, big brother~ Run for your little sister~" Ophis shouted from the side with a childish grin, waving his coat like a flag and standing like a referee girl.
'This girl… really is enjoying this, isn't she?' Leo thought, his face slightly annoyed.
Honestly, the reason he let Ophis push him around was… he wanted her to experience the world she'd never seen before.
Since he was the only person she truly trusted, she relied only on him. If he pushed her away or got annoyed, she might close herself off from others and end up feeling lonely.
So… yes, he was letting himself be dragged around because he wanted to see more of her.
Call it pushy?
Who cares!
As long as Ophis was smiling… Just look at her grinning and waving at him.
"You can do it… run like a motherfuc—mfff!"
Leo immediately covered her mouth with a horrified expression. "Maybe… that's too much," he said.
Ophis nodded awkwardly, seeing everyone glancing at her with weird eyes.
Anyway, Ophis took a breath and shouted, "On your marks…"
Leo stood behind the line, calm and focused.
"Set!"
Leo moved to the ready position, shoulders tense, trying to look as serious as a champion runner on live television. He felt Ophis's eyes drilling holes in his back.
"Go!!" she shouted, waving the coat like a wild flag.
Leo exploded off the line, feet pounding against the dirt. For a brief moment, he forgot everything—the embarrassment, the blood loss, even the burning look Ophis gave him earlier. All he could hear was the rush of wind past his ears, and—
"ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE…" Ophis bellowed, counting with no rhythm at all.
She stood on tiptoe, waving both hands for emphasis, counting out loud as if the fate of the world depended on her lungs. She had no stopwatch, and with school banning phones, her voice was all she had.
Leo's legs burned, his lungs screamed, but he gritted his teeth and finished the lap in record time. He doubled over, panting, nearly ready to collapse. He told himself: Only physical, no magic, no cheating, just pure effort.
"H-ha… How long?" he gasped, wiping his forehead with the back of his hand.
Ophis stared blankly for a second, then proudly raised all ten fingers. "This much!" she declared with a radiant smile, as if she'd just announced her hard count!
"…" Leo gave her a look. He looked at her like she was some mysterious alien artifact—a strange object you spot on the road, but you're too cautious to pick up.
Was this girl for real?
'I think Valra did the right thing putting you in the children's class,' Leo thought dryly.
Ophis didn't care about his scepticism. She stomped her foot, twintail bobbing, and shouted,
"Come on, go another round! You're not finished!"
"Huh? You can't even count! Why should I keep running for numbers you just make up?"
Ophis pressed her hands together and blinked up at him, lips curled in the cutest, most manipulative pout in history.
"Can't you do it for your little sister, big brother?"
Wink~Wink~Winkwink~
"…" Leo's lips twitched, caught between annoyance and laughter. "You'd better count it correctly this time! If you hit fifteen fingers, I'm out!"
"Yupp~ Yupp~" Ophis chirped, bouncing with glee.
Leo let out a suffering sigh. Still, there was something about her infectious joy that made it impossible to refuse... He started running again.
Ophis cheered, shouting numbers even more enthusiastically. Sometimes she shouted the same number twice, or skipped from three to eight, then back to four. Leo ran, his body feeling heavier each lap, his vision blurring at the edges. He thought he'd end up in the nurse's office at this rate—especially after giving so much blood to his little vampire.
But strangely, his legs kept moving. It was as if Ophis's strange energy, her wild shouts and laughter, were keeping him on his feet.... or something else pushing?
The spectacle soon caught everyone's attention. Athletes stopped mid-stride, relay teams paused their practice, and even a gym teacher squinted in disbelief. Ophis's numbers echoed across the field. The girl's relentless spirit and Leo's stubbornness created a scene no one could ignore.
A group of older runners approached, drawn by the noise and the wild, pint-sized cheerleader.
"Little miss, if you don't mind, can we join too?" one of them asked, grinning as if expecting to be shooed away.
Ophis blinked in surprise, then puffed her chest out with comical pride. "Fine… but don't cry when he beats you! My servant is unbeatable!"
The other runners exchanged glances and smiled, amused by her confidence. "Guess we have ourselves a real challenge," one of them said with a snort.
Leo gave them a wary look, sweat dripping down his face. "What's going on now?" he muttered, but inside he felt a strange thrill. Ophis looked up at him, her eyes shining with excitement—like a kid at a festival.
"Just a friendly match," one of the boys said. "Would you mind?"
Leo glanced at Ophis, saw her bouncing on her heels, her grin wider than ever. He felt the pressure but couldn't help but smile.
"Okay, fine. Let's see what you got."
Ophis raised her imaginary referee whistle, swinging the coat dramatically over her head.
"On your marks…"
"Set!"
Everyone moved into a ready position, muscles tense and faces determined.
"Go!!" Ophis cried, waving the coat so wildly that it nearly slipped from her grip.
Everyone bolted at once, feet thudding across the track, dust swirling behind them. The air filled with the sound of sneakers slapping the ground and rapid, focused breaths.
"LEO, LEO, LEO, LEO, LEO!!" Ophis shouted, her voice soaring over all the noise.
She completely abandoned counting, now leading a one-girl cheer squad. Her shout was so wild and furious that even a few teachers peered out their windows to see what was going on.
Leo's face burned with embarrassment, but he caught the look in Ophis's eyes.
Could he disappoint her? Not a chance.
He saw the other runners pushing themselves, a step ahead, and a surge of competitive energy hit him. Leo clenched his jaw and suddenly bolted even faster, legs moving like a blur.
The others were caught off guard, glancing over in surprise as Leo suddenly accelerated, sprinting past them like he had been holding back the whole time.
Within seconds, he reached the finish line, chest heaving, a streak of sweat across his brow.
"Yay!! YOU DID IT, LEO!!" Ophis screamed, her voice echoing across the field. Leo, half-dazed and still panting, couldn't resist. He grabbed her and lifted her high in his arms, spinning her around like she weighed nothing at all.
Her little face beamed, her eyes shining with pure joy. For a second, she really did look like a child who'd just won a festival prize.
The other runners, some still running, and onlookers couldn't help but smile at the sight.
There was something warm and gentle in the way the two of them celebrated—like true siblings, sharing a victory that mattered only to them.
Until…
"YOU FUCKING FUCKED THEM ALL!!! HAHAHA, THEY ATE YOUR ASS—MFF"
Everyone froze.
For a full second, it felt as if the world stopped spinning. All the students, teachers, and even the crow on the roof stared, mouths agape.
Did she really just say that?
"…."
No one made a sound.
And… that's the last time the ground ever saw those two!!
Leo felt his soul leave his body. His legs, somehow, found new energy. He bolted away from the field at full speed, Ophis tucked awkwardly under his arm, bags flapping behind him.
It was as if he'd unlocked a hidden level, fleeing with the desperation of a man with everything to lose.
The field was left stunned... One of the runners, finished running, hunched over and clutching his side, turned to the man holding the stopwatch.
"What time did he finish?"
"Huh?" The man blinked, snapping out of his shock. He looked down at the stopwatch, his eyes going wide.
"Two… twenty-three?"
The runner's jaw dropped, his face turning pale. "The FUCK?!!"
