Nico Weaver paused for a moment, clearly not expecting Carson Flores to give such an answer to this awkward question.

"Delarosa?"

Nico Weaver asked, "The Artifact Spirit of the Tower?"

Carson Flores nodded, "Cristopher Hopkins has seen it. Cristopher Hopkins could be resurrected thanks to Delarosa. Otherwise, with my limited power, Maggie Fitzgerald would have crushed me to death already."

Nico Weaver snorted coldly, "That woman Maggie Fitzgerald, I'll capture her sooner or later, extract her Divine Spirit to light a lamp, making her life a living hell!"

Carson Flores said with a smile, "With the Domain Master back, those sects that remained neutral have also come forward. The situation is set, capturing Maggie Fitzgerald is just a matter of time, as long as she doesn't flee to the High Immortal Realm."

The guard entered the room, bowing to await orders.

Carson Flores replied honestly, "Samantha Tate, she is Rafael Gibbs's disciple, the Palace Master of the Divine Wood Palace."

Nico Weaver nodded and continued directing, "Go to the Divine Wood Palace and invite Samantha Tate here on the ship."

Carson Flores didn't know what Nico Weaver was up to, but judging by his previous tone, it didn't seem like there would be any issues.

After the guard left, Nico Weaver smiled, "You couldn't even meet your own wife for Cristopher Hopkins and the Celestial Palace. I must lend a hand."

Carson Flores smiled wryly but had no choice but to thank him, "Thank you, Uncle Yao!"

Nico Weaver spoke again, "Is that Selah Ellison Immortal Lord on the ship your woman?"

Carson Flores nodded reluctantly once more, "Yes."

Nico Weaver rubbed his chin and smacked his lips, "I'm quite curious. She's an Immortal Monarch; when you met her, you were just a Human Immortal or an Earth Immortal. How did you win her over?"

Alfred Weaver's face turned slightly red as he interjected, "Dad, why are you asking this?"

Nico Weaver chuckled, "I just want to get to know him better. It's a conversation between men; don't worry about it."

Alfred Weaver turned half-way around in protest but kept her ears perked.

Alfred Weaver was entirely aware of Carson Flores's matters with his two wives but was clueless about his relation with Selah Ellison Immortal Lord.

She was equally curious.

Carson Flores wanted to say he was actually won over, but saying that would be too unmanly.

"I met her while escaping a hunt; she was stealing the egg of the Golden-Winged Great Roc and was being hunted by it. We both hid in the same mountain crevice."

"She roped me into her plans, later going off to hatch the egg. She was tricked by Flame Dragon Ghost Bat's soundwaves, I saved her, and we journeyed together. I obtained the Divine Brilliance Tower's opportunities and got the Nine Revolutions Great Land Pill Formula, which I shared with her. She returned the favor by sending me to learn from the Pill King. The night before we parted ways, we ended up together."

Nico Weaver listened with keen interest, "Nice, nice, such encounters are destiny. Hardships reveal true feelings, the man has affection, the woman has intention. It sounds like your story with Cristopher Hopkins is rather similar."

The topic finally reached Alfred Weaver, and Carson Flores couldn't help but voice his curiosity, "Uncle Yao, in my situation, don't you object?"

Alfred Weaver turned around, somewhat nervous, watching Nico Weaver, worried he'd issue a hurtful verdict.

Nico Weaver, seeing the nervousness in his daughter's eyes, spoke calmly, "If this were ten thousand years ago, for a kid like you with designs on my daughter, I'd definitely break your legs with a big stick. If you refused to back off, even if my daughter became heartbroken, I'd find a way to make you disappear from this world... can you understand?"

Carson Flores nodded silently, he genuinely understood.

Which daughter isn't the apple of her father's eye? Who would want their daughter to live with other women, vying for a man's love?
