Blood Holy Scripture: True Ancestor Charlotte de Castel

Chapter 130: Absorption

The Great Elder of the Salem Clan was unaware of the existence of this letter.

Not just him, but other bloodlines of the two great clans were also unaware of the letter's existence.

"Your Majesty the True Ancestor, we... have not set foot in the forbidden land for six years."

Drado answered thus.

Six years...

What a coincidence?

Excluding the time spent traversing history, it's also been six years since I arrived in modern-day Mireya...

Charlotte thought to herself.

She looked at a few bloodline elders whom she had summoned. After paying their respects to Charlotte, they quickly noticed the two puppets by the throne and respectfully paid homage to them as well.

"So, you haven't received their oracle for six years either?"

Charlotte looked at the two puppets.

Drado respectfully bowed his head:

"That's right, ever since six years ago, the Duke has fallen into slumber, not responding to our calls except for sacrifices."

Sacrifices?

Charlotte slightly raised her eyebrow.

She glanced around, then looked at the armrest of the throne.

Recalling certain fragments of past life memories mentioned by the Guardian's Staff along the way, her heart stirred as she infused Divine Power into the thorny rose-like groove.

The Blood Divine Power bloomed, the throne emanated a faint light, and the next moment, the entire hall trembled as an ancient altar rose in the center.

The hall was shaped like a square platform, engraved with an array responding to sacrifices, filled with various items, each brimming with dense Blood Divine Power.

However, the most striking of all was the thick stack of pages at the center of the altar, along with three exquisitely crafted small divine statues.

These were the fragments of the Blood Holy Scripture and the faceless divine statue left to her by Lilith!

"These items... are they the offerings you've sacrificed over the years?"

Charlotte asked.

Drado carefully identified them and respectfully replied:

"To Your Majesty the True Ancestor, yes, these are the items the Duke's oracles have guided us to collect over the centuries."

Charlotte remained silent.

The collected offerings were too precisely targeted.

They were all things she needed now, either enhancing her power with Divine Artifacts, completing the Blood Holy Scripture with fragments, or allowing her to further enhance her mastery of the laws with the faceless divine statue.

Thorny rose...

Letter...

Along with these offerings...

By now, Charlotte was sure that everything here was truly waiting for her arrival.

Is it really something left by my 'future' self after crossing history?

"Your Majesty the True Ancestor... may I ask, is the Duke... well?"

Drado's nervous voice interrupted Charlotte's thoughts.

Charlotte glanced at the two lifeless puppets and shook her head:

"Your 'Duke'... I'm afraid he burnt out all his soul power six years ago and turned into an ordinary puppet."

"Six years ago? This... how is it possible... we only made a sacrifice over half a year ago..."

Drado widened his eyes.

"That was merely the sacrificial array on the altar responding to you."

Charlotte shook her head and said.

Charlotte's answer caused a stir among the bloodline members she had brought in.

Moments later, Drado couldn't help but ask again:

"Your Majesty the True Ancestor, then... can you still awaken the Duke?"

Charlotte remained silent for a moment, then shook her head:

"Unfortunately, I can't. It's not just a simple exhaustion of spiritual power; even their 'souls' have dissipated."

To be honest, that part puzzled Charlotte a bit.

Logically, even if a Mythical-level puppet exhausts its spiritual power and stops functioning, it can be revived with infusions of Divine Power and spiritual power.

But just before the bloodlines entered, she had tried, and these two puppets weren't merely missing spiritual power—they lacked even the 'core of the Divine Soul.'

They... were just shells with residual Divine Power.

One thing can be a coincidence.

But too many coincidences turn into inevitability.

It's too deliberate, really too deliberate.

Everything here seems to intentionally dodge Charlotte's deeper exploration, yet ostensibly it all appears prepared for her, waiting for her arrival.

That feeling... as if knowing she would eventually arrive and reach that point someday.

Who is it?

Who exactly?

Is it Lilith's backup plan?

Or is it a "gift" that her future self left for her?

Or perhaps...

Is it some higher existence?

Charlotte's expression was uncertain.

She was already a True God, she could feel her power far surpassed what it was months ago, but this smooth journey, this arrangement and setup akin to a script, made her feel uncomfortable, as if she were a "puppet".

The only thing she could be certain of was that there was indeed some existence behind pushing all of this.

The other party seemed impatient to have her "regain strength," to hit the Creator Status, and even prepared Blood Divine Power and Holy Scripture Fragments for it.

However, Charlotte could not discern if it was goodwill or malice.

If it was malice, then there were all sorts of "reminders" along the way, but if it was "goodwill," why not meet openly instead of hiding?

Yet Charlotte could only continue to "perform" according to the "script".

The history that has occurred cannot be changed.

If everything she takes now is inevitably happening, then she must continue to go along the invisible thrust.

However, this does not mean Charlotte will sit idly by.

In "history," she failed, just like Lilith who reincarnated countless times; if she cannot change while performing the script, find the loopholes in history, and create possibilities out of impossibilities, then she may also become another "Lilith."

'Based on the image I just saw, Helios has not truly fallen, the Creator God will soon resurge. Regardless of whether everything at present is a "script," rapidly raising my strength to complete is also beneficial to me!'

Thinking of this, Charlotte exhaled a breath and put away all the items on the altar.

The Holy Scripture Fragments in hand, the Blood Holy Scripture in her consciousness once again bloomed with brilliant radiance, conveying an emotion as joyful as seedlings in a long-awaited rain, frantically absorbing the residual pages.

The thick book opened, the blank spaces rapidly filled in, while the whole scripture's aura became increasingly ancient and weighty.

At the same time, the Faceless Divine Statue seemed to sense some mysterious pull, transforming into a crimson stream of light that surged into Charlotte's body, ultimately injecting pure Blood Divine Power and intricate Power of Laws into Charlotte's Divine Position.

Charlotte's aura... almost instantly continued to soar!

All the bloodlines present felt the True Ancestor's aura suddenly change before their eyes.

Crimson Divine Power erupted like a tsunami, solid and imposing, ruling over all.

The terrifying Divine Mighty crushed them to the ground, unable to move; even the most powerful Legendary Duke felt like a lonely boat in a storm, a drop of water before the vast ocean, unable to muster even a hint of resistance.

True Ancestor!

This is the True Ancestor!

The magnificent power of the Bloodline Ancestor!

This is the great Master of Eternal Night who conquered the world and stands at the pinnacle of the gods!

Under the Divine Mighty, bloodlines turned pale, those weaker Earls even fainted, while weaker ones outside the hall lost consciousness long ago.

However, those who still struggled to stay conscious all realized something, after a brief shock, quickly fell into ecstasy, each gazing excitedly at the Charlotte wrapped in crimson radiance.

Outside the forbidden area, above the Dark Castle, the majestic Divine Power soared to the sky, as the crimson Blood Moon rose, casting crimson light over the entire earth.

This sudden "Divine Miracle" lasted a full minute.

After a minute, the Divine Power receding, the terrifying pressure faded like a tide, and Charlotte's figure once again appeared before the bloodlines.

She transformed into her adult form once more.

Smooth, golden hair transformed into splendid silver, emitting a gentle halo, adorned with fickle Divine Power radiance.

The last trace of red faded from her golden-red pupils, leaving pure crimson-gold eyes rendering her supremely noble.

The aura of Holy Power and Blood Divine Power intertwined, manifesting dreamlike brilliance behind her.

Under that brilliance, her appearance seemed even more noble and beautiful, but with a transcendent divine aura.

However, besides the divine aura, her every movement also carried an absolute, unassailable majesty and mystery.

Crimson Divine Power draped over her figure, transforming into a black Divine Robe with dark golden patterns, decorated with thorny rose motifs at the collar and cuffs.

Her body naturally seated upon the high throne, like a sovereign monarch.

Lowered eyelids concealed the sharp edge, fleeting Divine Power brilliance flashing across her pupils, as if the whole world trembled at it.

Feeling the furious throbbing of bloodline, the bloodlines' expressions grew more animated.

Finally, led by Elder Drado and Pure White Witch Anxia, numerous bloodlines knelt on the ground, their trembling voices filled with endless joy:

"Welcome back to the peak, True Ancestor Your Majesty! Welcome back to the throne!"

"Welcome back to the peak, True Ancestor Your Majesty! Welcome back to the throne!"

"..."

Resounding echoes reverberated through the Dark Castle.

"Your Duke has completed his mission. From today, the two clans will officially be under my control."

Charlotte looked at the bloodline elders behind her and said.

Upon hearing Charlotte's words, the elders of the Salem Clan and Vadret Clan bowed respectfully, faces fervent and excited:

"Everything... according to Your Oracle!"
