Blood Holy Scripture: True Ancestor Charlotte de Castel

Chapter 38: The Prince and the Elder's Names

Looking at the vampire warrior standing over three meters tall, Charlotte couldn't help but sigh.

But as soon as she sighed, she froze.

A subtle emotion spread from the depths of her heart, and a look of suspicion flickered in her eyes.

"Hehe, Savior, his father was a half-elf, and his mother had giant lineage, which is why he's taller than most. Among the vampire warriors who passed the selection, I think his strength should rank in the top ten!"

Seeing Charlotte lost in thought, Badak chuckled and said.

Rank in the top ten?

Charlotte thought to herself.

She glanced at the clearly nervous tall warrior, took a deep breath, and asked:

"You... what's your name?"

The vampire warrior scratched his head, feeling a mix of nervousness, excitement, and anxiety, and replied:

"Replying... replying to Lady Lilith, I... I don't have a name, but back when I was in the arena, those elven lords used to call me Femarol."

Boom...

Charlotte's mind was in turmoil.

The conversation she had with Badak when she first became the Falling Star Queen surfaced again—the

"He was called Femarol, a third-generation Bloodline. You... should know him as well. If I remember correctly, he once served as your personal guard, and you even praised his height by saying 'So tall.'

"His name came about because of that. After all, in the Ancient Elf Language, Femarol means 'You're so tall...'"

Charlotte felt a shiver run up her spine.

Even though she knew that her ability to traverse time would undoubtedly disturb the wheels of history and even directly steer its course, at this moment, looking at the vampire warrior in front of her, she couldn't help but feel the unpredictability of destiny.

Without a doubt, the vampire warrior before her could very well be Duke Femarol, the leader of the Nais Bloodline branch on Moon God Island in the future, and her time travel might just be the catalyst for his Second Bloodline Awakening!

Charlotte's first thought was to eliminate him from this examination.

In the future, she had gained deeper insights into Duke Femarol through Badak and Duke Ron, the Great Elder of the Nais Clan.

If Badak was a staunch supporter of the Stargazer Cosy, then Femarol was a steadfast opponent of the Blood True Ancestor.

As the Five Great Clans hunted down the Bloodline of Royal Authority, he was the main force leading the Bloodline to hunt down the Royal Authority Bloodline within the Nais Clan.

And under the future descriptions of Nais Great Elder Duke Ron, Femarol was an ambitious betrayer, attempting to split and seize control of the Nais Clan and also an aspirant attempting God Slaying.

Because of his existence, the decline of the Nais Clan accelerated further. According to Duke Ron's speculation, Femarol was the culprit who colluded with external enemies, bringing in the being known as the "Fallen Sea King" to Moon God Island.

This was Charlotte's impression of Duke Femarol.

Yet looking at the sincere, timid face of the vampire warrior in front of her, who seemed to suppress the kind of excitement fans have when meeting their idol, Charlotte found it hard to associate him with the "Fallen" and "evil" Duke Femarol depicted by the Nais elders.

Thinking about this, Charlotte sighed and turned her attention to the information Badak handed over about him.

The data wasn't extensive, but it documented Femarol's personal information and experiences quite thoroughly:

"Femarol, 35 years old, male, a mix of human, elf, and giant blood, Silver Moon level."

"Born in the Moon Elf Country, both parents were slaves. Father died in the Elf Arena at 6, mother died of illness at 7, selected by elves to become a gladiator at the age of 10."

"At 17, participated in the gladiator uprising, joined the Free City State Alliance Army, distinguished himself multiple times, became a vanguard soldier in the Third Army Corps of the Free City States Alliance at 18, retired due to injuries in the Battle of Silver City at 20."

"Reenlisted at 22, distinguished in the Second Red Mountain Campaign at 25, chosen by second-generation favored clan captain Thorfin of the Third Corps to become a third-generation favored clan member, appointed as the Third Corps captain at 31."

A fundamentally promising and virtuous personal resume.

Moreover, he indeed appeared to be a brave and loyal warrior.

Charlotte had originally hoped to analyze his true character from his resume, but after reading, she found it even harder to link him to the traitor of the Nais Clan.

Not only that, but having achieved Silver Moon level strength at 35 without the direct bloodline power bestowed by Lilith, Charlotte could almost foresee that if he were to further obtain Bloodline power and experience a Second Awakening, becoming Legendary would be a matter of time.

On the whole, from a personal condition standpoint, there was no reason to eliminate him.

If there was anything concerning, it was his overly intense gaze when focusing on her.

That kind of gaze was all too familiar. In the future, Sebastian, Werewolf Luf, and other fanatic followers of the Blood True Ancestor, all looked at her with such eyes.

It was the gaze of a "fanatic."

Charlotte quickly realized she didn't necessarily have a reason to eliminate him.

If the historical events were meant to happen, whether she eliminated him or not, he would eventually become the follower of the Blood True Ancestor Lilith.

He would inevitably become the leader of the elven bloodline on Moon God Island.

But perhaps... think in a different way?
