The Ruby Mountain is unlike the previous Void Realms.
Mages walking on the Ruby Mountain cannot increase their Magic Power even a bit.
Because the fourth pair of Void Wings is composed of the Mage's own color, unlike the first three pairs which can be sought from the Void Realm, mages can only search within themselves.
In simple terms, mages need to use their knowledge to evoke resonance with the Void Realm, deriving their unique colored Magic Power. Specifically, this involves battling on the Ruby Mountain, driving Technique Spirits to perform Miracles.
This is why most Legendary Mages can only acquire compounded color Void Wings. After all, solely using a single faction's Technique Spirit to complete a battle is too difficult for a legend. Moreover, regular battles aren't enough; if a Legendary Mage cannot be 'Brave and Diligent' or gain inspiration in battle, they also cannot derive their unique colored Magic Power.
Battles where nothing can be learned, like crushing or being crushed, cannot enhance any experience. Legendary Mages must continuously explore their limits to resonate with the Void Realm and receive feedback.
But even with such trouble, Legendary Mages cannot fight whenever they want.
The Void Realm creatures and the Mage projections exist on the Ruby Mountain too, but... it depends on the Angel's mood.
Indeed, the weather significantly affects the refresh of Void Realm creatures and Mage projections. Stormy and windy weather brings creatures like Rain Dragons, Violent Slash Dragons, Thunder Roar Dragons, and Feng Shui Master projections, while brutal weather sees more Fire Mage projections, and pure dark nights refresh Dark Mage projections, Shadow Evil Dragons, and other dangers... In a nutshell, the worse the weather, the more dangerous the enemies.
Yet even so, Legendary Mages are not unable to accept it.
But the problem is, many times the Ruby Mountain doesn't spawn creatures, with the entire mountain solely inhabited by Legendary Mages.
Throughout this entire month's starry sky weather, Mica hasn't encountered any monsters on the Ruby Mountain. As long as the starry sky weather continues, no one can enhance their Magic Power, leaving everyone stuck here.
In the vast ages before the epoch, the Ruby Mountain was so terrible, with endless surprises becoming obstacles for mages.
But after the epoch, mages solved this issue, or rather, the solution always existed: Since there are no other enemies on the Ruby Mountain, can mages not become each other's enemies?
This solution has one unavoidable issue: the Ruby Mountain is boundless, extending up, down, left, and right. It is extremely difficult for Legendary Mages to meet each other.
Thus, at the advent of the epoch, a crucial concept emerged in the mage world: the Gospel.
The Gospel is a concept rooted in the Void Realm, connecting all mages via the Void Realm, naturally connecting legends as well. The Ruby Mountain has been completely transformed by the Gospel concept; Legendary Mages only need to crush any ruby to summon the Mage list, viewing the status of all Legendary Mages, whether they are in the Void Realm or not.
Of course, the Mage list won't show names, only the color codes to symbolize a Mage's strength. Using the Mage list is simple; just infuse Magic Power into the color code, and if the target is in the Void Realm, it will guide you to find the target, ensuring that the Ruby Mountain doesn't expand between you, guaranteeing you meet for a fight.
The initial use of the Mage list was to arrange fights.
But over the years, many new concepts have continued to emerge, further deepening the user experience of the Mage list and developing many 'pain-point-reaching' uses.
For instance, the investment mechanism formed by Paradise's 'shared concept'.
Just infusing a certain amount of Magic Power into any target, you can form an 'Investment Contract'. When the other advances in knowledge and skill, a portion of pure knowledge will flow into your mind; at the same time, your pure knowledge will also be acquired by the other.
However, the investment covenant will suppress a Mage's connection with the Void Realm, meaning if you choose to invest in other Mages, the Void Realm will reduce its inspiration investment in you. The invested will not suffer such troubles.
If you invest in many mages, the Void Realm will basically screen you out.
The top few legends in the Mage list have nearly all the investors covered. Every bit they advance can glean dozens of times the knowledge from dozens of legends, so whether to be an investor or an investee is a question every legend needs to ponder.
In addition, the gambling mechanism formed by the Blood Moon's 'carrion-eating concept'.
Similarly, by infusing a certain amount of Magic Power into any target to form a 'gambling contract', if you cannot log into the Void Realm for ten consecutive days (our side loses), your essential knowledge will flow into the opponent's mind, akin to consuming dozens of Experience Treasure Orbs;
Similarly, if the opponent cannot log into the Void Realm for ten days (the enemy side loses), then the opponent's essential knowledge becomes yours.
This mass knowledge exchange similarly affects the Mage's connection with the Void Realm, whether winning or losing, the subsequent period of Void Realm inspiration investment will be reduced to the minimum. Furthermore, losing a significant amount of knowledge will also have severe negative effects on mages, potentially even causing a regression of the Realm.
There are many uses for the Mage list, but the commonly used are investment and gambling. It is worth mentioning that the effects of the Mage list are mandatory; whether you are willing or not, whether on Ruby Mountain or not, if someone wants to invest in you or gamble with you, you have to accept.
From its inception, the Mage list has nothing to do with 'peace', 'freedom', 'compromise'. It is a tool for forced combat. If you evade battle, the fight will come to you, how can it still negotiate with you?
