Hmm?

The Demon-Hunter Sorcerers squeezed against each other as they gathered at the void fortress. Naturally suspicious, a sudden overbearing grunt made them all shiver uncontrollably. They all slowly looked up one by one before falling silent at the same time. With gazes of sincerity, they looked to this intimidating person behind the black gap with the utmost respect, waiting for him to descend.

Although it was only an aura that had accidentally surged out from the gap, it was still terrifying enough as if a level-twelve blizzard had just swept over them. This sent massive chills down their spines. A sudden realization hit them. Had they perhaps underestimated the power of this Stigmata Sorcerer? Could the real power of this Stigmata Sorcerer have exceeded their mental calculations?

Grimm, like all the other Demon-Hunter Sorcerers, could not help but shiver along with the team.

Shocking everyone, Myna suddenly shrieked with a loud “Caw!” and in an excited manner, it said, “Young master, this Stigmata Sorcerer undoubtedly survived the ancient times and lived till now. This is surely the aura of a person that stands on top of the food chain; a tyrannical plunderer! I’m sure of it!”

Grimm was well-aware of ancient sorcerers that could command an immeasurable and merciless army of slaves, passing through one world aperture to another as they conquered foreign worlds.

He whispered under his breath. “He certainly is. That Stigmata Sorcerer behind the gap must the Black Isotta. I’m sure of that aura.”

“Black Isotta… the owner and master of your sorcerer academy?” Myna asked, somewhat hesitant.

Grimm spoke faintly, “At that time, we didn’t get to meet this great Stigmata Sorcerer because Master Peranos’ soul partner Garnigle was in the dimensional gaps.”

“Great my ass!” Myna snapped. “Back in the day, these would be considered puny sorcerers…!”

Obviously, Grimm had guessed that this Stigmata Sorcerer was stuck at the other side of the ten-meter plus black gap, unable to descend into the Sorcerer World.

The blurry-figure of a black-caped Stigmata Sorcerer roared deeply like a primitive, barbaric beast that was on top of its food chain.

This ten-meter long black gap was then torn apart by a strong force, expanding to both sides continuously until it reached a few hundred meters wide.

Strangely fast and unparalleled, a few Seven-Ring snail emissaries flew by. Like spring silkworms engulfing mulberry leaves, they surrounded the edge of the void gaps and quickly devoured it. This caused the small gap to slowly expand into a large circle.

One-fourth of an hourglass later, a black hole the shape of a perfect circle measuring a few hundred meters in diameter appeared abruptly in the sky.

Outside the black hole was the energy vacuum layer of the Sorcerer World. Although the sky was grey, blinding rays of sun pierced through the clouds. However, there was nothing in the black hole except for a chilling silence.

“Hngg…”

The black-caped Stigmata Sorcerer let out a deep, strained growl from his throat, exerting every ounce of strength in him to push something. Void ripples reverberated from all sides of the hole. It seemed useless, however, the Stigmata Sorcerer could not squeeze out from the black gap however he tried, unable to even enter half a step into the sorcerer world.

Suddenly, a giant pitch-black shadow whose head alone measured a few hundred meters in diameter appeared from the depths of the gap. It tried to squeeze half of its head out.

Goodness! The energy levels of this Stigmata Sorcerer… how far did it reach?

Grimm could only guess that the blurry figure must surely be the Black Isotta Stigmata Sorcerer. His gaze locked onto the black, giant figure’s gaping mouth that was right in front of him. Could this be the same mouth that devoured the Golden Breedsnot’s giant guardian bird?

After finally coming to terms that his efforts were futile, the Stigmata Sorcerer who was almost out of breath decided to temporarily give up his attempts on crossing the black gap.

Suddenly, as if waking up from a dream, the Seven-Ring snail emissaries emitted a low buzzing sound, working hard to ensure the laws of the world would not close up the black hole.

A short while later, the wide void fortress went silent. All the demon-hunter sorcerers held their breath as they looked up, waiting for the Stigmata Sorcerer to descend for real.

A good amount of time passed before something happened which shook Grimm and the other demon hunter sorcerers to their core.

Streaking across the vast sky, a flock of Seven-Ring snail emissaries flew over. There were a few hundred of them, all flying at full speed.

One should know that the laws of the sorcerer’s world had the ability to close up void gaps automatically.

The previous Seven-Ring snail emissaries could only manage in making sure the gap did not close up. When it came to expanding the black hole, however, there was nothing that they could do. Now, with the addition of a few hundred more of these snails, the gap finally increased, expanding the black hole once again.

Crunch, crunch… The sounds of hundreds of teeth chewing were nothing short of deafening.

Grimm, who had the talent to sense void relative boundaries could feel the waves of the void shattering like dozens of glass shards being clashing against each other in anguishing, ear-piercing splinters.

Slowly but surely, a black hole two hundred meters in diameter was created.

“Hnghh…”

Once again, the black-caped Stigmata Sorcerer who was on the other side of the black gap began to charge up his energy.

It was then when many demon-hunter sorcerers on the void fortress realized something. The space around the black gap had started to distort, like crumpling white paper. Cracks began to spread too and branched out like the roots of weeds. Lo and behold, was a black gap two hundred meters wide!

ROAR!

Suddenly, the Stigmata Sorcerer seemed to be agitated as he got stuck in an awkward position. After a roar followed by a loud explosion, two other smaller holes blew out beside the black hole, each spewing out colossal fists made of pure black energy.

CRACK!

Bash, bash, bash…

The two fists bludgeoned and swept around mercilessly. Caught in the middle of a cacophony of shattering sounds, the void was completely torn apart.

A black gap a few thousand meters long tore open in the skies. Something akin to the form of a hideous giant black centipede slithered out of it, rhythmically traversing across the monotonous grey sky.

The Seven-Ring snail emissaries who were holding the black hole open were hit by the sudden explosion and flung helplessly in every direction.

The two mighty fists full of pure black energy ruthlessly spread the gap open like a massive gorilla holding up two crumbling pillars.

Snap!

In an instant, the sky looked as if it had an eye, which slowly opened.

Hit by the bullets of a memory, Grimm felt a sense of eerie familiarity with the situation.

It was almost as if he went back to the time after the fight at the Holy Tower. As his consciousness slowly faded, he was just about to faint when the skies above the battle stage suddenly erupted and formed a void gap a few thousand meters wide.

Beyond the gap was that surreal gargantuan eye. It felt as if Grimm was an ant trapped in a bottle and the terrifying eye was observing him from the outside.

The current situation, in all strangeness, was spookily similar!

The only difference here was previously, at the Holy Tower, it was a gigantic eye, whereas the void gap in front of him right now had a pure black giant shadow trying to claw its way out.

This feeling…

On the Sabbatic Goat Staff, the pure black energy within the eye sockets of the goat skull pulsated inexplicably. Grimm gasped with amusement. There was no mistaking it now. This must surely be the Black Isotta Stigmata Sorcerer!
