Rona walked out of the self sparring room sweating heavily. The self sparring room was a simulated space where you fight your clone. The clone was fully automated and differs from each person. It has exactly the same strength as the person who activated it, including all their abilities. However, for those seeking a tougher challenge, they could increase the clone's strength above theirs. The self sparring room was not just a place to test out skills, it was also a place to sharpen the mind. A person's greatest enemy was himself.

And most importantly, it was one of the three most expensive services in the dragon clan's martial arts arena. Only those with lots of money or contribution points could get near.

"Young miss, do you want to enter the evaluation room to check the level of your soul power and physical strength?" One of the attendants, who was an outer court member from a vassal family asked, giving her a fake smile.

"There will be no need. I know myself the best. I have not recorded a significant improvement, it would be a waste of resource and time. Thanks for asking." She replied without hesitation and made her way to the female VIP washroom.

She should check her cultivation using the clan's machine, so that they can see her level of progress to determine if she was a threat to be removed? No thanks. The attendant just now was working for one of the clan's elders, and could be a spy for all she knew. She had carefully avoided all facilities that had a recording function to avoid the clan keeping track of her cultivation. As for the self sparring machine, it automatically wipes out and resets. But of course, Rona made sure to cross check before leaving.

Ever since Kaiser totally fell out with the dragon clan, many people have been watching her like a hawk, mocking her efforts to improve as useless, even though she was more talented than most of them. Previously, she didn't have much friends, except for those who hanged out with Leo that she often talked to. And now that she had severed ties with Leo after betraying her and stealing her brother's soul shards, there was no need to keep in touch.

Just as she came out of the building after changing into her signature leather pants, high heeled boots and jacket, she ran into Amber and a group of other inner court disciples.

"Wow! Isn't this the legendary useless sister of Lord Kaiser? She even came here to waste money. Hahahaha." One of the young men said loudly, making others to chuckle.

Rona gave him a cold glare and clenched her fists pretending not to notice.

"You keep working too hard nowadays. You're not used to it, your skin might be stressed. Just go back to being a princess." Amber said in a low voice, pretending to care for her.

Actually, she was afraid that Rona would threaten her position in the ranking list if she keeps up her hard work and takes over her position. It was no secret that her brother is a monster, and she was incredibly talented. If she was not distracted by chasing after Leo and goofing around with him, she would definitely be formidable. Of course, she won't be as powerful as Kaiser who is insane and has strength that defies reason. But she will also be a force to reckon with. Even without training hard in the past, she was still strong, and entered the ranking list. How much more now that she had decided to polish her skills with all her strength?

"Princess? What princess? Don't you mean Leo's lapdog?" The first boy, Michael said, making them to laugh again.

"You can't blame her though. It's no secret that she offered Leo her brother's soul shard and helped the clan kill her first brother. Lord Kaiser's current moves are the last three roars of a tiger before its death, its final desperate attempt at survival. She has to do everything to level up fast and learn to take care of herself. After all, her almighty brother will soon become a cripple or die. Even if he finds a way to retrieve the soul shards, a part of his soul is already missing and has created a vacuum in his foundation. He may not last much longer." Emelda added.

Rona's eyes turned red with rage, and veins popped out on her forehead and neck as she gritted her teeth. She took a step towards Emelda and gave her a heavy slap borne of anger. The surprised Emelda didn't have time to react as Rona actually having the liver to fight back without Kaiser nearby was unprecedented. She only acted up when her brother was around, especially if the other party was in a group. No one was truly expecting her to retaliate.

"You, how dare you?" Emelda shouted, touching her swollen cheek. She could taste a hint of blood.

"Rona, have you gone crazy? How can you attack a fellow clansman? In front of the martial arts pavillion no less. This is the sacred arena dedicated to learning martial arts. How dare you desecrate it?" Amber shouted moving forward with her whip.

"Shut up, you!" Rona shouted back.

"Look here, don't think that we do not dare to do anything to you because your brother returned last night. If you dare step out of line, we will give you a good lesson on how dogs should behave." Michael said in anger, taking a step forward.

No one in their group was weak, they were well known members of the main dragon clan, the true bloods. Out of the seven of them, Emelda was the only one that was not in the ranking list but she only fell a point short and entered the rising genius list instead. Amber never keeps weak friends because iron sharpeneth iron. If they band together, beating Rona to a pulp would be very possible.

However, one needs to look at the owner before beating a dog. Hitting Rona wasn't a problem, the aftermath was. Who is to say that Kaiser, that mad man won't come after them? He had been looking for reasons to turn against everyone and exact revenge since Anthony disappeared. Beating Rona at that point was equivalent to inviting the tiger home. That was the reason everyone was waiting for Amber to make the first move since she was one of the grand elder's favorites. If Kaiser wanted revenge afterwards, her family had a better chance at blocking him than the rest of them.

"How about I teach you how a dog should behave? How dare you bark at me?" Rona whispered, taking a step towards him.

Just as Michael summoned his energy to fight, Emelda held his hand while Amber patted his shoulder.

"Don't mind her. Barking is all she does, don't stoop to her level. What if you beat her and she collapses? Let it go. After all, her brother will die soon. It makes sense that she's bitter about it, especially since she personally ruined her brothers herself. Such a foolish girl isn't worth our time, nor is she qualified to be our cousin. When Kaiser dies, I want to see how she…" Emelda couldn't finish the rest of her words for Rona grabbed her throat, squeezing it madly with a deranged look in her eyes.

"Say that again." Her voice was cold and glacial, like that of a beast that just tore off the chains.

Everyone gasped in shock. Her eyes and attitude looked a bit like that of her brother, filling everyone with fear. Her aura brought about a sense of deja vu, making them think for a second that it was Kaiser before them, before they quickly got a grip on their minds.

"Stop it immediately. Are you trying to cut of her air supply? You're even sealing her acupoint to prevent her from fighting back. Have you no shame to sneak attack someone like that?" Another girl shouted.

"Rona, have you gone crazy? Why are you pressing on her acupoint while also cutting off her air ways? Do you want her to die?"

"So what if she dies? What's wrong with her dying?" Rona asked, tightening her hand around Emelda's neck.

"She has gone crazy." Amber shouted and swung her whip on Rona. The whip cut open her jacket and top, leaving a bloody diagonal slash on her back. The first hit seemed to have emboldened her for she came a second time.

Rona caught the second slash with her hand and pulled hard on it, making Amber lose her footing.

"You must have a death wish for daring to hit me."

She held the whip tightly and turned to Emelda who was already turning pale.

"If you dare curse my brother with death again, I will truly kill you. And let me remind you again, my brother Kaiser is not like the rest of you wastrels. No one can kill him. And most importantly, you will die before him." She said coldly and flung her away, letting Michael catch her.

The moment she discarded Emelda, she pulled hard on the whip again and turned to Amber, her eyes red and filled with bloodlust.

"You, what's wrong with you today?" Amber shouted, trying to put up a brave front. The Rona before them wasn't the one they knew. The one before them looks like a baby monster, just the kind of mad dog Kaiser would raise. And she was beginning to look like him.

Rona smirked at her, making her heart to shake in terror.

"I guess I became a monster like you all."
