"I certainly agree. It's beautiful! Your fair skin stood out in this color," Ling Li said in agreement with Lily.

"Nina, go try the other gowns," Ren said to Nina.

"Mother-in-law, you look twenty years younger in this gown." Ling Li said to Mrs. Xu upon stepping out of the fitting room.

"Oh Ling, you have a sweet tongue. I indeed like this more than the other one." Mrs. Xu said happily, showing her big, warm smile.

"Have you tried the other one?" Ling Li asked.

"Yes, she has. She looked more beautiful in that gown but didn't want it when she asked about the diamonds." The assistant replied.

"Mother-in-law, this is for the twins. Please don't break their hearts. Miss, we will take both of them." Ling Li said to the assistant. "Match it with a bag and shoes as well."

"Yes, Madam." The assistant replied and was ecstatic, thinking of the commission she would get with the two gowns and accessories.

Just then, Nina came out in her own clothes. "I'll take the green one." She declared with her poker face.

"Sure, Nina. You have the final decision. Go choose a pair of shoes and a bag," Ling Li replied.

"Show her your shoes and bags that could match her gown." Ling Li instructed the Manager.

But Nina only cares a little about what would look best with her gown and only chooses the most expensive ones. Her plan is to make money out of it in the future.

Mr. and Mrs. Xu could only crimp their brows, looking at Nina with disappointment.

Ling Li led them to a jewelry shop when they finished their gown hunting.

"Mother-in-law, do you like this?" Ling Li is holding a set of diamond necklaces paired with earrings, rings, and a bracelet.

"Ling, this is too much." Mrs. Xu shook her head and pushed it back to her.

"No, this is what I should do." Ling Li insisted.

"Father-in-law, this is for you." Ling Li gave him a jade ring encrusted with diamonds around it. Mr. Xu was teary-eyed when he saw it.

"What should I say?" Pursing his lips after Ling Li put the ring on his finger.

"There is nothing to say. This is a gift to you from Chuyan and me." Ling Li replied politely.

"Nina, this is for you." Ling Li also gave her a whole set of diamond jewelry.

Nina didn't even say a word and took it without showing interest.

The Manager couldn't believe her eyes when she saw Nina's ungrateful attitude.

"Miss, that is twenty-one million dollars." The Manager pointed to the bag Nina was now holding.

"Nina! Give it back!" Mrs. Xu yelled after hearing the price.

"No need, Mother-in-law, for that. Gladys, She is young." Ling Li said.

"But, Madam, being young doesn't mean being arrogant." Gladys, the Manager, pressed.

"Gladys!" Mushu called her attention.

Gladys shut her, took another bag, and handed it to Ren without saying a word. Ren ordered this earlier.

After taking the bag, Ren then gave it to Lily while winking at her.

Lily was so happy and gave her big sister a big hug, knowing it was a gift she could give to Quan Ye.

Looking at the two sisters hugging each other, Ling Li and Mr. and Mrs. Xu felt happy for them; on the other hand, Nina's face had a grimacing look of envy and hatred.

"Let's go. We will be late for dinner." Ling Li declared.

While on the way out of the shop, the alarm ticked off, surprising everyone.

Nina had a smug look on her face.

"Okay, let us go back to find out what is happening?" Ling Li suggested.

"Gladys, check everyone and have somebody check the surveillance camera as well." Ling Li ordered.

"Madam, we found a ring in Lily's bag," Gladys announced with a chuckle.

"What? Go check the camera." Ling Li was stupefied.

While Lily was as dumbfounded as her mother. 'Why would I need to rob our own jewelry shop? And how did that ring come into my bag?' Lily also wants to know.

Mushu returned from the security room with a grimace and handed his phone to Ling Li to show what he had found.

It showed how Nina took a ring from the display area while several other guests were choosing among them and slipped it into Lily's bag.

While Ling Li is watching the video, Nina's face starts draining its color.

"Nina, I will keep this incident between us today. But this evidence will remain with me. If ever you try to harm Lily again, I shall never spare you again." Ling Li warned Nina sternly.

"Ling, we didn't discipline Nina well. Please allow me to apologize on her behalf." Mrs. Xu held Ling Li's hand and was about to kneel.

"Mother-in-law! Get up. We are family. Nina is young and still too willful. We just need to guide her slowly. Let's forget about this incident," Ling Li said, comforting her mother-in-law, who looked helpless. Ling Li felt distress for her. 'Nina is too willful and needs to learn her lesson.' She thought.

They went into another dress shop.

"Good, give them all they need. We are running late." Ling Li said.

"Miss Ren."

"Miss Lily."

The shop assistants called them simultaneously, "This way, please."

They were each led to a VIP room to change into for dinner, which Ling Li had reserved in a high-end restaurant on the top floor of the same building.

Ling Li changed into her dress by herself.

In less than an hour, they were dressed with their hair done and light makeup and headed to the restaurant.

All the gentlemen are already waiting for them in their reserved private room. They, too, were all well dressed for the night.

Tonight, Shi Min is seated in the main seat, and Ling Li sits beside Four Eyes.

"Tomorrow is the battalion run, so I ordered lots of carbs. We need to load the carbs tonight. Those not participating can enjoy the other foods." Ling Li announced it to everyone.
