"By the way, have you met your Pap's family?" Ling Li remembered and asked.

"Yeah. That girl, I smell trouble." Shi Min said with a knitted brow.

"Um." After Shi Min responded with a short nod, he stood up with his laptop and strode out of the study.

Ling Li could merely purse her lips when she saw Shi Min leaving without further telling her what had happened. Recalling what Shi Min said, 'Nina might hurt Lily.'

Ling Li picked up her phone and dialed a number.

"Mushu, come to my study."

Within a minute, Mushu arrived.

"Madam," Mushu called out to let his presence known.

"What happened this morning? Shi Min mentioned that Nina might hurt Lily. Why did he say that?" Ling Li demanded to know.

Mushu's face turned dark after hearing Nina's name.

"Madam, if you had asked me, I would have never agreed to let you bring that brat here."

"Mushu, tell me what happened." Ling Li insisted.

"Madam, when Master Chu Yan's family arrived this morning, he was waiting for them in the living room. He sternly warned Nina, as did his parents, to avoid trouble here. Their parents said they won't tolerate whatever misdeeds she would make again." Mushu told Ling Li.

"And then, continue."

"Then Fatty and Chatty came down and perked Nina's interest. This brat started smiling sweetly at the two gentlemen. Soon after, Young Master Shi Min, Master Shun, and Miss Ren also came, which excited this brat even more."

"And then, go on." Ling Li urges Mushu.

"After that, Young Miss Lily came down with the twins. When she was coming down the stairs with Kim Kim in her arms, Fatty assisted her. We all could see the change on Nina's soured face."

Late in the afternoon, Ling Li is at the veranda waiting for Four Eyes family to arrive for their tea. It is their first time meeting each other.

"Madam, Mr. and Mrs. Xu are here with their daughter." Butler Peng announced.

"Please let them in."

"You must be Ling." Mrs. Xu greeted her with a warm smile.

"Yes, Mrs. Xu. I'm sorry I couldn't welcome you all this morning." Ling Li responded.

"I'm your father-in-law, and this is Nina."

"Hello, Father-in-law, Nina. Please have a seat." Ling Li politely acknowledged them.

"Ling, I hope you don't mind us staying with you." Mr. Xu said with an apologetic tone.

"No, not at all. I hope you are comfortable in the house, and whatever you need, please inform any of us or the butler." Ling Li assured them.

"The house is more than comfortable; it is too much. We couldn't get used to it." Mrs. Xu exclaimed happily.

"Butler Peng, please call Ren and Lily to join us." Ling Li intructed.

"Nina, what do you plan for your studies?" Ling Li asked.

"I don't plan to go back to study." Nina indifferently replied.

"You've been idle for a long time. You have to think of doing something with your life." Her father reprimanded Nina instantly.

Just then, Ren and Lily arrived.

"Good afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Xu. Hi Nina." Ren and Lily greeted them all as they took their seats. Nina nodded while her parents gave the sisters big, warm smiles.

"You have beautiful children, Ling." Mrs. Xu said.

"I love to go shopping," Nina said flatly.

"If you return to school, we will also provide you with allowances. But you will only get free meals and accommodation at home if you remain idle." Ling Li added.

Nina snorted.

"Nina, I encouraged Mom to bring you here," Ren said cheerily. "Do you like to sing or dance? Or draw, perhaps?

"She can dance well." Mrs. Xu replied on Nina's behalf.

"Nina, Russia is well known for ballet. You can enroll in the dance studio if you don't want to return to school." Ren suggested.

"You can go to the dance studio, or we can arrange a private trainer. You can decide." Ren added.

Ren knows nothing about Nina's past or current situation; "Lily can even teach you. She is a professional ballerina at a very young age." Ren happily volunteers for her sister.
