Girl Hero: Revenge on Goblins!

Chapter 793: Chapter D285: Wings of Parting and Flight (2)

At the moment before colliding with the earth's crust, an invisible barrier was broken, and she entered a wondrous realm.

Countless dazzling streams of light swept past the Hero, the colorful starlight filled her perception, presenting scenes incomprehensible to human senses, as if in the midst of the most fantastical dream.

Yet, the Hero, visiting here for the first time, did not feel uncomfortable, instead feeling a sense of familiarity as if returning home.

[Does the Hero hear anything? (120+ yes, 200+ can respond)]

D272+50=d272(225)+50=275

Seemingly noticing the visitor from afar, the starlight conveyed numerous murmurs, not in language, causing ripples to spread through the Hero's consciousness.

Just as the remnants of consciousness construct a dead dream land in the dream, every mage who can earn a Magic Scholar qualification at the Mage Association knows the world is not just one layer.

Apart from the Material Realm where humankind resides, there are sub-planes like the dead dream land, and high-dimensional spaces like the Gate of Heaven that humans cannot interfere with.

The realm inhabited by Star Spirits, where the Hero currently stands, is undoubtedly a dimension yet untouched by humankind.

However, feeling the curiosity emanating from all directions, the Hero could only apologetically wave her hand.

"Sorry, I'm in a hurry!"

In the next moment, the Star Wings behind her vibrated again, the surrounding radiance swiftly faded, and boundless darkness began to engulf.

The Deepest Night Sea, during the peak of the Kingdom's maritime craze, existed only in tales handed down through generations,

only the most seasoned captains knew that ships had truly reached this Eternal Night Sea by various coincidences, even landing on an island amidst boundless darkness, bringing back invaluable Eternal Night Gems.

Countless adventurers wanted to replicate this feat, but almost all failed; even the captain who succeeded with the gemstone was blinded by lucky success and forever lost in the darkness on a second voyage.

But now, in this sea shrouded in thick fog, darkness, and night for ages, faint starlight suddenly flickered.

At the bottom of the sea abyss, untouched by light since ancient times, with the trembling and boiling sea, a holy goddess statue soared out of the darkness.

After a brief yet prolonged flight, what entered the Hero's perception was a vast nightmare group that completely eluded capture of its edges.

Countless nightmares, like cells, combined into a massive brain in the deep sea, acting with a terrifying state at which a mere glance would make an ordinary person howl, carrying out the swarm expansion instinct.

Even in the Returning Star status, the Hero, unmoved, found her jade eyes involuntarily contract in front of this scene.

But she did not hesitate, nor pause, once again vibrating her wings and punched towards the darkness ahead.

"—It's right here!"

[Hero activates skill: Sacrifice (Strength D3+base 0.4, Constitution D2, Holy Dawn+Charm, Star Wings (second speed effect)+326, Armor Break+73)]

3d110+219+2d572+342+326+73=(71)+(84)+(57)+d572(365)+d572(175)+960=1712

Like a nova explosion, under the Hero's extreme speed, countless rays of light expanded simultaneously, swallowing hundreds of nightmares within.

[Raid successful, Hero dealt 1712 damage to Nether Sea Dream Erosion Group]

[Nether Sea Dream Erosion Group takes 1712-338-30 damage]

[Nether Sea Dream Erosion Group (Isolated Island part)-1344/368]

[Hero eliminated Nether Sea Dream Erosion Group (Isolated Island part)]

Although countless nightmares converged here, not the whole group engaged in the same activity.

Just as the human brain functions in multiple ways simultaneously, this nightmare in front of the Hero connected with a remote Isolated Island nun, currently attempting to restore its connection with her.

However, under the sudden stellar burst, this part of the Dream Erosion Group was completely swallowed before it had time to react, vanished without a trace.

[Hero's light inflicted excessive damage to Nether Sea Dream Erosion Group (greater than 12, Dream Erosion Group level +1, gained skill: Dreams End)]

Even without the Great Demon inhabiting, the Sea Abyss is not a place accessible to land-born creatures; at this depth, water pressure is hard to bear even for warriors subjected to thousand hammering and refining.

Yet, the goddess statue abruptly darting out of the void treated this steel-bending weight as nothing, dashing like flying through the sky.

The Star Wings traced long and twisted trails of light in the Deep Sea where starlight never shone.

"One, two, three, four—so many."

Each twist of the trail accompanied by light expansion and nightmare annihilation, in the Hero's eyes, the world seemed to stand still; every wing beat and punch dissolved a whole mass of nightmares in the Holy Radiance of Dawn Break.

Once the number surpassed a hundred, the Hero no longer counted, just continuously shattering the nightmares before her, until the last cluster linked with the Isolated Island nun was entirely wiped out.

As the Hero's Star Wings drooped, it seemed as if time started to flow again.
