"It's still a bit complicated, so can I ask you to pretend you don't know about our plan when you meet them?"

"Why would I do that, idiot?"

"It'll be a secret just between the two of us, Jess."

Just between the two of us. Jeff's words sounded like a hypnotizing song in her ears, making her heart flutter. After all, it meant she held an advantage over Nubia and Veena.

Seeing that Jess had finally calmed down from her jealousy, stopping her iron claw and freeing his face from her grip, Jeff began teasing her again as she returned to her mobile game—this time by caressing her body from her waist down to her leg.
