Tokyo: Rabbit Officer and Her Evil Partner

Chapter 427: I Won (4)

Uesugi Shion held a red switch in her hand: "The bomb has shrapnel, everybody be careful."

Kujo Yua was sweating on her forehead, she wanted to retreat, but if she took even half a step back at this moment, her career as Director of Police would be over.

The terrorist was right in front of her, she tried to negotiate, but Uesugi Shion completely ignored her, and simply made two demands:

First, everyone put down their guns, lay down their weapons, and retreat a hundred meters;

Second, Fushimi Roku stands in front of her and puts on the handcuffs and shackles himself.

There was no way Kujo Yua could agree to the first condition, surrendering weapons would be tantamount to being at her mercy. Uesugi Shion wasn't unreasonable, her negotiation skills were equally strong, since Kujo Yua was unwilling to put down her weapon and leave, she would leave, demanding that no one else follow except Fushimi Roku.

The duck she had in hand was planning to fly away, Kujo Yua was especially unwilling, yet there was nothing she could do but watch as Uesugi Shion stepped back step by step, her figure disappearing into the dense forest.

On the other side was the core building of Cat Island, according to their agreement, Kujo Yua and the mobile team could not approach within the quarantine zone—they had already breached the agreement by entering it.

The officer asked what to do, Kujo Yua felt the weight like a mountain again, she took a deep breath, turned to look at the area engulfed in flames, when a figure rushed out, quickly crossing the quarantine zone, following in the direction of Uesugi Shion.

"Fushimi-kun, I'm counting on you," Kujo Yua whispered to herself.

It was the first time she had placed her hope on someone else.

The officer didn't hear clearly, leaned in to ask, forcing Kujo Yua to raise her voice, leading everyone to retreat first, resupply on the ship, adjust their state, and then carry out the arrest operation.

Anyway, the coastline had already been sealed, the terrorists couldn't leave this island, so they could just wait it out until Uesugi Shion ran out of ammunition and supplies.

Everything would be done in a stable manner.

If all over a hundred officers died, or half of them, even if Kujo Yua caught Uesugi Shion, she would have no hope of sitting in the Director's chair, after all, these were all her subordinates, and she would be heartbroken to lose even one.

They withdrew from the coastline, but hadn't boarded the ship yet, when the officers left on guard called Kujo Yua, saying there was an urgent notice, and she should hurry to the cabin.

Kujo Yua thought something unexpected had happened again, hurried over, only to see the officers had turned on the television, the news footage showing Uesugi Shion and Fushimi Roku.

"Which channel is this?" Kujo Yua asked.

"It's a foreign channel, a private pay-per-view, broadcasting live," an officer said. "The channel is called 'Public Execution'..."

Kujo Yua had a bad feeling, she crossed her arms, stood in front of the screen, biting her finger, and watched closely.

This was a fixed camera position, located somewhere in the dense woods of Cat Island, roughly where Uesugi Shion had set up the camera in advance. She held the detonator in her right hand and threw the shackles to Fushimi Roku with her left.

"Drop the knife." Uesugi Shion's voice trembled, excited to the point her eyes were bloodshot.

Fushimi Roku laid down the katana, indicating he had no other weapons on him.

It wasn't over yet, Uesugi Shion continued to make him put on the handcuffs, then pulled out a handgun from her waist, pointing it at his forehead.

Fushimi Roku, unhurried and steady as if dressing, clicked the shackles in place.

"This round, I won." Uesugi Shion pressed the gun against Fushimi Roku's forehead, her excitement reaching a peak.

"What a pity." Fushimi Roku said.
