Wolves and Men

Book 7 chapter 3f

"Sure, brotha, you got it. I'll keep her with me all the fucking time. I'll even take her into the shitter with me. There? You happy? dip shit? Now just open the fucking gate."

The guard still didn't look convinced but he went back to his booth and the gate slowly opened as it rattled along its tracks. Silvia smiled as she studied the various semi-trucks and containers lined around the parking lot of the shipping warehouse. There was a lot of stuff here, more than she had imagined from Simon's descriptions. This was going to be fun.

Seth parked his truck and got out. He never opened the door for her, not that they had gone out much since they had first met. He was such an entitled little prick. Maybe chivalry really was dead, not that she had ever needed a man to protect, or provide for her. She got out of the truck and slammed the door closed. She ran up to and hung off of Seth's arm just the way he liked her to.

Seth smiled but his body was tense. He glanced around them as they stepped up to a key pad protected door. Seth pointedly looked down while he punched in the key code. There was a beep, the key pad's green light lit up, and Seth swung open the door and pulled Silvia in through the doorway.

The place was dark. For two vampires walking around in the dark though, it might have well been daylight, with every light in the place turned on. They moved down a long hallway. Seth was a bit sullen, like he was nervous. Silvia could feel the tension along his arm with her fingertips. The fact that Seth was unusually quiet was another thing that she couldn't help but notice. He really was nervous about being here. This made her smile.

The hallway they quietly walked down was lined with doors. Seth stopped at one of them and opened it with a key and stepped inside. Silvia followed him in and once Seth had the door closed, he immediately relaxed. A smile slid over his face and he took on that arrogant air of self-confidence.

He walked over to a desk at the far side of the medium sized room. He looked at Silvia and softly patted the desk, "Why don't you hop up here. This is my boss's office."

Silvia smiled and put on a mock shocked expression, "Oh, Seth, uh Master, wont we get in trouble for being here?"

The blond didn't seem to notice her small slip of the tongue. "I don't remember asking you, slut." Seth focused on her in the dark.

Silvia found her eyes focusing on his without really wanting to. His blue eyes really were gorgeous. She didn't want to anger him. He deserved to be happy and he wanted her. She felt lucky to be wanted by him.

"Now get your cute little ass over here on the desk like I told you too, bitch."

Silvia felt her legs move on their own. Of course, she should obey him. Seth was amazing and he deserved to be obeyed. Her toe touched the floor as she took another involuntary step towards the desk. Was there something she was supposed to do? Was there something that she should remember? Did it matter? His eyes were all she saw; his voice was all she heard.

Then a metallic sound resounded throughout her mind. The place where she felt Seth's gorgeous blue eyes on her shrunk down into a grain of sand. Her footsteps faltered just for a moment as she was once again in control of her mind.

That was close. Silvia half smiled as she moved towards the desk. Seth had been practicing. She hadn't been prepared for that. Luckily, he was not very strong, or experienced. A stronger member of House Dukart would probably have taken her. She was stupid for underestimating even someone like Seth. But she was ok and all she saw was the asshole that deserved to be taught a lesson.

She squeezed between Seth and the desk and looked up into his blue eyes. She squeezed her breasts together with her forearms as she started to slide her t-shirt up over her head.

Before her abs were uncovered, she kicked up hard with her right leg, driving her foot right up into Seth's crotch. She tugged her shirt down and was able to see the pained shocked expression on the idiot's face as he gasped for air, wheezing in pain. Silvia slid off the desk and punched him directly in his temple, dropping him instantly.

"Well, that didn't last very long, big shocker there," Silvia muttered to herself before sliding the office chair away from the desk and turning on the computer. The computer booted up and asked for a password.

She smiled to herself, Sofia had warned her about this and so she simply plugged in the thumb drive that the computer expert had given to her. The screen sort of flashed and flickered as something happened. Silvia wasn't great with computers but she assumed that whatever Sofia had given to her was working. Then the computer shut down.

Silvia grabbed the thumb drive out of the computer and dropped it back into her pocket. Whatever program that was on the thumb drive would activate and install automatically when the computer was booted up again, or at least that's what Sofia told her. The woman could be really detailed in her computer stuff. She had to admit that while useful, her brain just couldn't wrap around half the stuff that girl talked about most times.

She grabbed Seth and threw him over her shoulders. As for this one, well he fucked with the wrong girl and she had to protect herself and her team. She took the young vampire outside. It was night, but late. The sun would rise in little more than an hour. She gagged and hogtied Seth and left him in the parking lot hidden, but with a clean line of sight for the eastern sunrise. She left him unconscious as he lay there. Dying in his sleep was too good for a creep like him, but she wasn't vindictive…much. She left the truck where it was and she ran to the nearest fence, hurling herself over the ten-foot tall, barbwire topped barrier with ease. She landed with cat like grace and took off down the street, disappearing into the cool dark early morning.
