Hunter: Growing Stronger with the Light of the Moon!

Chapter 168: Finniel's Initiative

In the dead of night, the Blood Moon outside still shone brightly. The eerie red moonlight spilled onto the ground, making everything feel restless and uneasy.

What should have been an incredibly quiet night was instead filled with various unsettling sounds that left one feeling agitated.

Ed stood by the window, gazing at the red moon outside, his brow furrowed.

His mind was far from calm. Everything was happening too quickly for him—whether it was the increase in his power, the revelations about gods, the Evil God, or the mission to save the world—it was all too overwhelming to fully grasp.

Taking a deep breath, he slowly exhaled, his gaze lowering to his clenched right hand. An indescribable power stirred within him.

He had already reached the Sun Level as a Hunter. If he went to Dorey City, he could easily become the strongest Hunter there. In fact, with a little adaptation, defeating Evan Morton and even Amelia, the ruler of Holy City, would not be a problem.

However, despite this newfound strength, it was still not enough to face the Evil God and save the world.

Ed knew that even in a game of saving the world, he would likely have to die many times before reaching the perfect ending. Now, he was being asked to confront the Evil God, someone who could plunge the world into extreme danger, without any real preparation. It was incredibly hard for him to keep his inner peace.

But doing nothing would only make things worse.

Ed felt a twinge of frustration. He unsheathed the twin swords from his back, found a clean piece of cloth, and began to carefully wipe the blades.

Just then, a knock echoed through the room.

Ed set the swords down and walked to the door. He slowly opened it, only to find Finniel, the young lady of the Morton Family, standing outside.

Finniel looked at him with great concern and asked, "Ed, are you okay? The city is in chaos, and I'm a little scared."

Seeing Finniel, who looked like a frightened rabbit, Ed shook his head and replied, "I'm fine. There's no need to worry about me. Didn't you go back?"

Finniel shook her head and answered, "No, Eng said it's too dangerous outside and told me to stay here. With you and the Hunter warriors from the Human Empire, this place is the safest."

She lowered her head, gazing at her feet, then timidly continued, "Um... may I come in and sit for a while?"

Ed took two steps back, making room for her. Finniel slowly entered the room and took a seat in a nearby chair.

The atmosphere in the room was slightly tense and silent. Ed sat on the bed, continuing to wipe his twin swords with the cloth.

Finniel, on the other hand, just stared at Ed, lost in thought.

After a while, Finniel spoke up, breaking the silence. "Ed, I heard them say that the hope of saving the world rests on you."

"Earlier, I saw many people from other races outside—Dark Elves, Orcs, Dwarves... Everyone seems so panicked, so uneasy."

After speaking, Finniel looked at Ed, but Ed only gave a slight nod and continued to wipe the longsword in his hands.

Ed felt an indescribable pressure building up in his chest.

He never imagined that one day, he would be responsible for whether or not a world would be destroyed.

Ed didn't know how to respond. All he wanted was a moment to calm down and think things through.

Just then, Finniel suddenly stood up, walked over to Ed's side, and slowly crouched down. She gently placed her soft, delicate hand on the back of Ed's hand and softly said, "It's okay."

Ed froze for a moment, then slowly turned his gaze toward Finniel.

Finniel, feeling Ed's gaze on her, instinctively became a little shy, but she still lifted her head and stared into Ed's eyes with determination, speaking earnestly:

"I've never seen Lady Amelia or Uncle Evan so uneasy. It's as if, before long, this world will be completely destroyed."

"I'm scared too. I'm scared that I won't have time to say it—Ed, no matter what you choose, no matter what you do, you will always shine in my heart."

Finniel took a deep breath, then slowly spoke the words she had been holding back, nervously saying:

"Actually, I'm really afraid. If the world is really going to be destroyed and I haven't said it yet, that I like you... What will I do?"

Before Ed could react, Finniel quickly hugged him. Her body was stiff, as though the act itself had drained all her energy.

It was only then that Ed raised his hand.

Finniel noticed his movement, and immediately, her body began to tremble. Her eyes reddened as she looked at him, her voice filled with sadness as she said, "Ed, do you really not like me? Please don't push me away, I beg you."

As soon as she finished speaking, Ed's hand gently landed on her back, patting her softly, and he said, "It's not that. I just think you're a little scared. It's okay."

Feeling the warmth of Ed's hand, Finniel's trembling stopped, and her body became less rigid. She stared blankly at him, as though looking at something she could never forget.

After a deep breath, Finniel didn't hesitate. She lifted her head, and her soft lips brushed against Ed's.

Ed's eyes widened in surprise. He had thought that Finniel, feeling scared, had just come for some comfort.

While Ed was still in a daze, Finniel wrapped her arms around his, slowly moving them. She slid her hands under Ed's clothes, directly touching his skin.

Feeling the strength of Ed's body, Finniel's face flushed and grew warm. But even then, she didn't move her head, continuing to kiss Ed with intensity.

Very soon, both of their body temperatures rose. Finniel was very proactive. She no longer cared about reserve or shyness. There was only one thought in her mind: to do what she wanted to do.

The next moment, Finniel, rather clumsily, took off her upper body clothes. Under the faint light, her skin, as smooth and delicate as jade, was extremely eye-catching.

Ed could even see Finniel's not-so-large but exceptionally beautiful breasts and the exposed skin, with fine hairs standing up due to the outside temperature.

Just as Ed was hesitating whether to continue or not, he felt his right hand being held by Finniel's small hand, which then slowly moved and finally placed it on a very tender and firm place.

In just a couple of breaths, Ed could feel something in his palm gradually hardening and becoming firm.

He couldn't help but take a closer look and found that Finniel's breasts were slightly flushed, and she looked like she was drunk, her eyes hazy and her body restlessly twisting.

Seemingly sensing Ed's gaze, Finniel opened her hazy eyes, staring at Ed with a dazed look, and subconsciously licked her lips.

Ed could no longer hold back. He directly hugged Finniel and lowered his head, taking the place he had held in his mouth.

Immediately, Finniel's body trembled as if an electric current had passed through it. She tightly and forcefully held Ed's head, and her legs began to rub against Ed's body.

Their breathing gradually became rapid, and their clothes became fewer and fewer.

Soon, the two, completely naked, directly lay on the bed. Finniel was beneath Ed. Under the light, Finniel's exquisite face was extremely charming, making it impossible to look away once seen.

Ed slowly lowered his head and kissed Finniel's forehead, asking, "Do you know what you're doing?"

Finniel didn't answer immediately. Instead, she opened her arms and hugged Ed like a octopus, then slowly pressed her face against Ed's chest, listening to the strong heartbeat.

After a while, Finniel slowly replied, "I know. If the world really ends, I don't want to leave any regrets. I like you, Ed."

Ed took a deep breath and then aimed the part of his body that had become extremely hot and hard at the wettest part of Finniel's body.

Before Ed could arch his back, Finniel voluntarily lifted her hips and moved forward slightly. Immediately, Ed felt a strange, indescribable, and tingling sensation coming from his lower body.

Finniel, on the other hand, bit her lip hard, held onto Ed tightly, and said in an extremely soft voice, "Wait, don't move yet. It hurts a little."

Ed looked down and saw a few drops of blood on the bed sheet under the light. He gently patted Finniel's head until she began to move her body voluntarily, allowing Ed's large and hard part to rub continuously inside her.

Only then did Ed start to move, gradually increasing the intensity and speed. Finniel bit her lip hard, trying not to make any sound, but she had almost lost control of her body. The entire room was filled with her suppressed but uncontrollable moans.

Soon, the sounds grew louder, and Finniel gave up struggling, closing her eyes and letting out a loud cry.

It was unknown how much time had passed when Finniel's legs tightly clamped around Ed, and she reached out to hold onto Ed's arm on her waist with great force.

Her body began to convulse, her abdomen trembled, and she fell into a state of unconsciousness, constantly calling out Ed's name.

Three hours later, exhausted Finniel fell into a deep sleep in Ed's arms. Ed got up carefully, trying not to wake Finniel. He slowly walked to the window and looked at the blood-red moonlight outside. His gaze gradually became determined and sharp.
