Anton's squad members separated themselves from each other to explore Mendoza after they were done with the brothel. It appeared that not only Anton, but everyone else still had the energy to roam around the kingdom. Charlie accompanied Anton when he mentioned that he planned to browse the magic shops in the kingdom. He also planned to purchase some unique things that he could send to the Rose Manor as gifts to everyone.
While walking the streets of the main city of Mendoza, the only thing that Anton could say was that it was quaint. The shops, houses, and government structures were reminiscent of every medieval kingdom he had been in this world. Anton knew that one gigantic difference between medieval Earth and the kingdoms and countries of this world, aside from the obvious, which was magic, was that they were clean, and almost every kingdom did not stink of excrement like what he had read about medieval Earth.
Again, that was because of magic, since any wizard who had reached the level to cast the Cleaning spell would memorize it immediately, since even an incompetent mage would receive wages from the government if they could cast cleaning spells.
Looking at the beautiful streets, Anton remembered that while he and his family were on the run from the Undead Coalition, his goal was that after the Coalition was dealt with, he would focus on enriching the cultural exchange between Earth and this world. What it meant was that Anton would propagate Earth's movies, anime, manga, television shows, and more. He would become extremely rich in doing so, and once this world was fully saturated with media from Earth, there would be a time when the citizens of this world would be able to create original content, and with the use of magic, they could rival the CGI of Earth. Then someday, there might be a chance that the powerful wizards of this world would be able to open a Gate or Portal to Earth, and true cultural exchange would happen.
He knew that it was a shallow dream, but Anton felt excited about acting as a tour guide to a bunch of Earthlings while they oohed and aahed looking at the sceneries of the magical kingdoms of this world, and then citizens of this world would travel to Earth and would ooh and aah while an Earthling act as their tour guide while viewing the technological advancement of Earth. He knew that even if something like that occurred, it would be extremely chaotic at first, but something like that happening made Anton's blood boil.
But it appeared that the dream was just a soap bubble that had already burst. The powers that be of this world couldn't even deal with the problem called "Undead Coalition," and there was a chance that the Coalition would triumph, and this world would become an undead world.
Anton felt sad when he thought that he might need to get used to being a lich if he did not die outright.
Looking at the citizens of Mendoza who were doing their daily work, a casual onlooker would think that it was business as usual, but Anton could see that in their every move, there was a tinge of unease. It felt to him that their confidence in their government in defending their kingdom from the undead was dwindling.
Considering the fact that Mendoza was also a Wizard Kingdom, it meant that it was governed by Invincible Wizards. Anton wondered why those supposedly powerful Invincible wizards couldn't deal with the undead. Was the Undead Coalition truly that powerful?

"Anton, you look grim. Is something the matter? I thought you'd be happy since we just concluded our business with that brothel," Charlie said while walking beside him.
'I was just wondering something about the Undead Coalition. You know that I'm from Rendindura and my life there was pleasant and simple, but then it was destroyed by the undead. The coalition destroyed my kingdom, my people, my friends, and more, and I kept wondering why the powers that be of the continent did not step up to stop the undead. Was the coalition that powerful?" Anton absently answered, and he saw that Charlie just shrugged, indicating that he had no idea as well.
Anton knew that with his Diablo II system and his power, he could have taken action and become part of a group like the governments of Zalnothel or Ormunda, and would probably have known more about the situation. Still, he was passive to the point that one could accuse him of extreme laziness.
If Anton was being honest, it was simply that he didn't know what to do. Before he died on Earth because of the pandemic, his attention was all on his work and hobbies, and that meant that after high school, his mental maturity remained stagnant at high school age. It was just that he couldn't do anything else since he didn't have anyone to turn to for support, since he was a true orphan with no relatives. He had to work or starve, and he did probably starved to death because he was sick of that stupid pandemic virus.
After he transmigrated, his maturity did not progress since his body in this world was only seventeen years old.
The only thing Anton could do was use the gift that he had been given, which was his Diablo II system, to become as powerful as he could.
"What do you want to buy?" Charlie asked Anton.
"I want to purchase spells that would make life easy. Most of my spells are geared toward battles. I don't even have a spell to ward off the rain."
"What do you mean? I saw you controlling a large tarpaulin above us."
"That's Telekinesis, and can be considered a general spell that helps me move things. It's powerful, but I want direct spells that would achieve specific things. I saw a wizard while we were traveling, cast a spell, and the rain swerved to avoid him. I want spells like that."
"I've been to Mendoza before, and I know a shop where you can buy spells like that," Charlie said, then he led Anton to a huge magic shop.
When Anton saw the shop, he stared at Charlie wryly for a few seconds, and Charlie just shrugged. The shop was so big that even if the druid did not lead him there, Anton would have easily found it. A casual question to any pedestrian would have also led him to that shop.
Upon entering the magic store, Charlie led him to the section in the shop's third floor where spellbooks were located, and it was manned by a mage.
"How can I help you, sirs?" the mage salesman asked.
Charlie then told the salesman what Anton said to him about the spells that he wanted to have. The salesman then smiled and said that the shop had a lot of spells like that, but suddenly, a large alarm sounded from Anton.
"What is that?!" Charlie exclaimed.
Anton looked around, but then he realized that the alarm sound came from him. He checked his pockets and saw that it was from the magic token that Captain Leonard gave him. When he pressed the rune located in the token as instructed by Captain Leonard, he heard a short phrase in his mind, which was that he was being summoned to a meeting.
"I'm sorry, Charlie, I have to return. I'm being summoned to a meeting by Captain Leonard," Anton said.
"I'll accompany you. I don't have coins to spend here anyway," Charlie said
They said their goodbye to the mage salesman and returned to the barracks assigned to them. At first, Charlie was rushing Anton, but he told the druid that the higher-ups were interrupting their break, so they could wait.
