My Favorite Game Followed Me!

Chapter 585

Anton returned home from his latest "gold run" after four days and added another 230,000 gold coins to the large chest in the treasure room. The last time he checked, the amount of gold coins in the treasure room was approximately 1.2 million. The new gold earnings should increase the total to around 1.4, but from what he knew about the manor's two businesses, the total should be more.

His high-level mana stones grew from 284 to 296, and his ladder Druid character leveled up to level 85. Based on the rate of his leveling, he wouldn't be able to fulfill his goal of leveling two ladder characters in the span of time before the recruitment process. More than likely, he would only be able to max his Druid and a few levels for the next character, which was going to be the ladder Paladin.

He also dumped all the magic items that he received from his gold runs into the treasure room, and he knew that Raymond and Romina would be the ones who would arrange the items and identify them with the help of some of Anders's Adventurer group members.

Anton had been severely scolded by Anders regarding his cavalier behavior towards the riches he had earned and subsequently dumped in the treasure room. His father told him that his behavior was inviting malicious thieves or robbers to attempt to steal from them, and the manor's security wasn't enough.

Because of that, Anders, Raymond, and the head of the guards, who was the dwarf Torbin, concocted a detailed security plan for the manor and the treasure room in particular. Since Anton wasn't interested in the details, he didn't know what kind of security measures they had.

During the meeting with Mr. Jenkins, which happened every time he returned from delving into the dungeons, Anton learned of the latest craze that was happening in the area of Ormunda, where their manor and the nearest shopping center were located. Raymond called it the Star Wars craze.

Basically, young people walk around Ormunda wearing costumes from the Star Wars franchise, and a lot of those young people were trying to befriend Luna, Alfred, and Laloniah to secure an invite to the movie watching. Anton almost expected it to happen since it had happened before. Movies from Earth tend to make fans extra fanatic, and for some reason, the young fans wanted to dress up as their heroes.

Anton also learned that because of how many mundane Ormundans became crazy about the films, Anders had relented and decided to establish a cinema near the flower shop. Anders told Raymond to tell Anton that he would need to leave copies of movies that people from the manor could copy to magic item recorders.

Raymond told some details that were formed by Anders, Romina, Bruce, and Susan regarding the establishment of the cinema. Since Anton wasn't truly interested, he told the butler not to tell him the content of the business plan. The only thing he would do was provide movies.

Thankfully, all of the movies that he had given to Luna and Alfred were already copied to magic item recorders, so Anton did not have to provide those again. Anders' plan was for Anton to give copies of all the movies that he had already shown on the ship.

According to the butler, the family expected to earn a tremendous amount of gold coins from the cinema, but it would be a while before the cinema would be open. The family needed to settle a lot of things, like business papers and permits, pricing, advertising, and more. Thankfully, the manor had a lot of gold coins that they could utilize to establish the business.

Anton wouldn't even be bothered to create lifestyle items like the Frozen Orb air conditioners since those kinds of magic items could be purchased from the merchants of Ormunda. What bothered Anton was the process of copying the movies. Even though he could provide up to three movies at once, the process of copying each movie to a magic recorder would take time.

Anders's plan was for someone from the manor to accompany Anton with a bunch of magic item recorders during his gold runs, so each day, he would exit the dungeon and give copies of three new movies to the person.

Anders just sighed and said he would obey Anders's plans. The first thing he provided was Season 2 and Season 3 of The Mandalorian, and Raymond immediately brought the television show somewhere where they could start copying the shows to a magic item recorder.

At the very least, Anton's life wouldn't be disrupted too much since he would just need to provide movies, and everything else would be handled by someone else.

During dinner, Luna and Alfred thanked Anton for providing the Season 2 and Season 3 of The Mandalorian, while Romina thanked him for finally realizing that establishing the cinema would be the one that would bring the Rose Manor to new heights. Anton just rolled his eyes at Belue's aunt's exaggerations.

The next day, Anders arrived from his delved and, after resting for a few hours, had a meeting with Anton. The meeting was basically confirming if Anton was informed about the decision to establish the cinema, and he told his father that he was already informed and had started providing movies to Raymond.

The next day, Anton left for the high-level dungeon using a carriage since Torban and Ronia accompanied him. Ronia now had her own storage items, and inside her spatial ring were a large number of magic item recorders.

The plan was, Torban and Ronia would rent one of the rooms in one of the high-class hotels near the entrance to the Corridors of Amuneta and every morning, they would wait for Anton to exit the dungeon and he would then give them three copies of new movies that they would spend the rest of the day recording until the next day wherein Anton would give them brand new three movies.

When they arrived at the entrance of the high-level dungeon, the first three movies that Anton gave Ronia were the Lord of the Rings trilogy, then, without any further delay, Anton entered the 30th floor of the high-level dungeon and started his gold runs while leveling up his Diablo II characters.

Since Anton, Torban, and Ronia arrived late, Anton only completed the floor during the wee hours of the morning, but he still had enough time to sleep. At around seven in the morning, he exited the dungeon, went to the guild branch to get a brand new key, gave the next three movies to Ronia, which were the Hobbit Trilogy, and also gave all of the medium-level mana stones to be sold off that he acquired from a single day run. After that, he entered the dungeon again.

The next day, upon exiting the dungeon, he gave Ronia copies of A Knight's Tale, Pride and Prejudice, and Dragon Heart. He also gave them all of the medium-level mana stones to be sold off.

At first, Anton was worried that he was working Ronia and Torban hard, but according to the two, the total time they worked was only around six to seven hours, and they did not even consider copying the movies from his mini globes of browser sharing to the magic item recorders as work since the movies that he gave them were truly great to watch.

Not only that, the high-class hotel was extremely comfortable, providing them with all the things they needed for a comfortable stay.
