My Favorite Game Followed Me!

Chapter 578

Dinner that night was exceedingly lavish. It was a form of celebration for Anders and Anton's safe return from delving into the medium-level dungeon. Anders's adventurer group members were also celebrating a little for the conclusion of the meeting they had that day, which was Anders forming three official delving teams consisting of members from their group only.

Basically, the first team would consist of Anders, Daniel, and Ingrid, and five of the most powerful members of Anders's group. The rest would form two teams and delve into the upper floors of the Beginner Dungeon.

Anders shared with his team that in a few weeks, there would be a legendary item that would help everyone who was part of his group to level up extraordinarily fast. Anders and this legendary item would rotate among the three teams they had formed to make sure that everyone's level would rise quickly.

When a couple of people asked why there was a need for everyone's level to rise fast, Anders's true reason was because of the rumors that New Drennor was now encountering enemies from the Undead Coalition, but what he told everyone was, the more powerful they were, the quicker they could earn wealth and every member would then be considered wealthy in their own rights. Of course, becoming wealthy and being able to afford to buy something like their own personal Rose Manor was everyone's dream. Who did not want to become a rich noble with his or her own manor, idly living the best days of their lives?

They were also celebrating the continued success of the flower shop and the beginning success of the shop that handled the products from the fruit orchard. Bruce, Susan, and Romina's smiles were very wide, and Anders's seemed happy that his women's family didn't regret coming with him to Ormunda.

Luna and Alfred were bothering Anton during dinner. They kept pestering him to show them more movies, and he finally told them that he would provide them with three movies every time he returned home, but the movies would only last a week. If they wanted permanent copies of the movies, they would have to purchase a magical recorder item so they could record the movies that would be shown using Anton's sub-globes of browser. That meant that it was Ander's turn to be bothered by the two since it was time for them to get funds from their foster father to purchase the said magic item recorders. Anders indulged them by asking Raymond to provide the funds to Luna and Alfred, but Mr. Normandy would handle the coins. Thankfully, Anton didn't have to waste brain power thinking about which movies he would first allow Luna and Alfred to copy because they chose to have the copies of the Harry Potter films.

The problem was, the two wanted their friends to watch the films as well. But that meant that it would certainly spread to Alfred and Luna's friends' families. That would defeat the purpose of not allowing the movies to spread, since they wanted to lie low at first to increase their strength. Anton didn't want to bother with that problem and threw the issue to his father. He told the two that if Anders allowed them to share the movies with their friends, he would abide by Anders's decision.

These days, to the chagrin of the manor's upper servants, Anders acquired Anton's habit of carelessly leaving the treasure room open so that Raymond, Mrs. Noria, and Ronia could get the funds they would need to run the manor. Even Bruce, Susan, and Romina were allowed to take the funds from there as long as they logged the amount to the account books. These days, however, Bruce and Romina, instead of drawing funds from the treasure room, were the ones adding coins to the vault, which represented the earnings from the two businesses.

Anders and Anton weren't totally careless. Enough guards were patrolling the manor, and the members of Anders's adventurer team who weren't delving into the dungeon helped in guarding the manor.

After dinner, Anton went to his room to rest. He planned to challenge the deeper floors of the Corridors of Amuneta dungeon the day after tomorrow. He wanted to relax first since he knew that once he started, the momentum would probably consume the majority of his time for the next several months.

Anton wondered how much time he and his family had before they received confirmation news that New Drennor was in a war with the Undead Coalition.

During breakfast the next day, as usual, Mr. Jenkins shared with him all the news pertaining to Rose Manor. After that, he went to his Father's office to talk to him regarding his thoughts about the Undead Coalition. Thankfully, his father was still in his office, reading some documents.

"Father, you know about the rumors about attacks that New Drennor and other nearby coastal kingdoms were receiving from the undead. I believe them to be true. What are your thoughts about those?" Anton asked his father once they were settled.

"With our experience with the Undead Coalition, I can't help but agree with you that they were true as well. The only thing we could do right now is to increase our power as soon as possible, so when the time comes that we will have to battle it out with them, we're prepared."

"That had been my theory for the longest time. Besides, I'm tired of running. This kingdom has the means to allow us to increase our power. I'll strive to hasten my ability to complete the next Insight Runeword weapons so that you can increase your level as soon as possible."

Of course, neither father nor son did not shared their theory with anyone else. They didn't want to worry their family regarding the undead and wanted to live peacefully as long as they could. The two did not have any idea how long they had, and the only thing they could do was to increase their strength.

The next day, Anton left for the high-level dungeon, promising his father that he would strive to bring news about his safety once a week, and Anders promised the same thing. They shared with everyone in the manor that Anton would be gone from the dungeon most of the time and would probably return home once a week. Anders and his adventurer team would probably be the same.

At least, no one was worried about why Anton and Anders were focused on delving into the dungeon. They thought that both father and son just had the adventurous spirit, which was common in Ormunda.

When Anton arrived at the Corridors of Amuneta dungeon, the first thing he did was to run the 30th floor of the dungeon until he reached the maximum level of his ladder Necromancer. He wanted to transfer the Insight weapon from his Diablo II system to reality as soon as possible so his father could increase his strength just as fast as Anna.

After five days of running the 30th floor, he finally reached the maximum level for his ladder necromancer and transferred the Insight weapon. He also earned around 320,000 gold coins, but this time, Anton would keep the coins in his inventory. The total amount of gold coins in his inventory was around 400,000 gold coins.

The total amount of high-level mana stones that he had was 250. He planned to transfer all the magic items that he received from the dungeon to the treasure room and would just let the manor handle them.
