Corpse Recovery Diver

Chapter 152_3

Tan Wenbin scratched his head. Having just climbed over the school's outer wall, he dashed onto the road and almost got hit by a huge, arrogant truck, momentarily forgetting why he had climbed out in the first place.

Oh, I remember now.

Damn, I need to hurry!

"Sir, I'm not feeling well, I'm going to the hospital for an IV drip!"

With that, Tan Wenbin took off running.

The old security guard, gasping for air, propped his hands on his knees, watching Tan Wenbin quickly sprint away and cursed:

"That little rascal's lying! If he's sick, how could he run so fast?"

Tan Wenbin ran all the way to the entrance of a billiard room, where a few young men with tattoos in black short-sleeves were playing pool.

In the corner of the wall was Zheng Haiyang, who was crying, with a lot of clear handprint marks on his face.

Zheng Haiyang's parents are sailors, earning a lot. He usually has a lot of pocket money. But because his parents are often away for long periods and he lives with his grandparents, he gradually developed a timid personality.

Having lots of money and a soft nature, he naturally became the perfect target for extortion by thugs.

This morning, Zheng Haiyang didn't come to school. Tan Wenbin thought he was sick, but then other classmates told him that they saw Zheng Haiyang being taken away by Lin Sanhou and his gang on the way to school.

"Damn it, I told you, Zheng Haiyang is under my protection!"

Before those words even landed, Tan Wenbin's flying kick did.

Three of them, one of him—definitely take one down first before anything else.

"Bang!"

A flying kick hit one in the waist, sending him crashing to the ground, unable to get up for a while.

Immediately after, Tan Wenbin grabbed a pool cue and swung it at the face of another with a "whoosh."

"Bang!"

The guy screamed, clutching his face and collapsing on the floor.

The third guy, initially on the opposite side of the pool table, seeing this, jumped on the table trying to get over.

Tan Wenbin grabbed a billiard ball from the table and hurled it at the guy's crotch.

"Smack!"

"Oh!!!"

The guy grabbed his crotch and bounced around on the table, which got dented by his stomping.

Taking advantage, Tan Wenbin pulled the guy's ankle down, making him fall on the table.

"Damn, bullying people!"

Tan Wenbin grabbed the guy's hair, lifted his head, and smashed it against the edge of the pool table again and again!

Nosebleed came pouring out, and his consciousness began to blur.

At this point, the two initially kicked down also got up and charged at Tan Wenbin.

Tan Wenbin released the one in his hand, lunging forward, shoulder-bumping his chest, grabbing his arm, throwing it back, twisting it down, following with a kick to his knee, bringing him to the ground, fully subdued by Tan Wenbin.

"So you like bullying, huh? Let me teach you about bullying!"

Tan Wenbin pinned him down with his knee, facing the wall beside him.

"Bang!" "Bang!" "Bang!"

The wall had already been stained with blood.

The third thug seeing this, was scared and started trembling.

As Tan Wenbin raised his head and glared, he was too scared to step forward and turned to run instead.

Those bullies, always folding the fastest when faced with a real tough guy.

Tan Wenbin let go, and that guy collapsed forward, fainting.

Reaching out, he picked up a box of cigarettes from the pool table, took one out, lit it with a match, and took a drag.

"Hiss... hoo~"

In the corner, Zheng Haiyang asked in shock, "Brother Bin, when did you become so awesome?"

Before, Brother Bin was brave, daring to step up when protecting classmates, but it was usually a brawl, unlike today, finishing off those guys so quick and clean.

"Awesome?" Tan Wenbin looked puzzled at the two thugs knocked out on the floor and table, "Yeah, I've gotten awesome, or did they just get weak, so easy to beat?"

Taking another drag of the cigarette, blowing smoke rings, he looked at the cigarette between his fingers: Huh, since when did smoking go into the lungs?

Before, he often stood in front of the mirror, combing his hair like an adult.

He even bought cigarettes, pretending to be suave, lighting up, but inhaling would make him cough and dry heave, so he would just let it sit in his mouth and blow it out for looks.

"Are you alright?" Tan Wenbin looked at Zheng Haiyang.

"I'm fine, Brother Bin, haha."

Tan Wenbin reached out and touched Zheng Haiyang's face.

Zheng Haiyang's face had been slapped hard, wincing as he was touched, but didn't shy away.

Tan Wenbin touched and touched, making Zheng Haiyang tear up from the pain.

"Brother Bin..."

"Oh, as long as you're alright, let's go back to school."

"Don't go! My pool table, pay up, pay up!"

The lady from the billiard room came downstairs screaming.

She tried to stop Tan Wenbin from leaving, reaching to grab his collar.

Tan Wenbin glared at her, taking a deliberate step forward, making the lady retreat hastily.

"Get those two losers to pay, the table wasn't broken by me!"

After that, Tan Wenbin left with Zheng Haiyang.

Leaving school required climbing the wall, but returning inside was just through the front door, where the security wouldn't stop a student in uniform pants from going in for class.

But as they reached the classroom door, they saw Zhou Yunyun, the class monitor, coming out holding assignments.

Tan Wenbin raised his eyebrows at Zhou Yunyun, exclaiming, "Class monitor, you have an inexplicable sweetness today."

Zhou Yunyun's initially stern face turned red, then she lowered her head, reorganized, glared at Tan Wenbin, and snapped, "Ugh, nothing good comes out of your dog mouth!"
