Checking in for 100,000 Years

Chapter 400: Tracking the Puppet Entering the Bronze Palace

"Heh!"

Looking at these four guards on high alert, Ye Yun just gave a faint smile.

He turned around, tore through the void, and disappeared instantly.

One of the guards stared blankly in the direction where Ye Yun had vanished, his face filled with astonishment. "What's his cultivation base? He was actually able to tear the void!"

"Tearing through the void is something only those at the Half-step Divine Venerate Realm can do," another guard stated.

"How terrifying, to think such a senior figure descended upon our Purple Cloud City," the third guard murmured to himself.

"Fortunately, this senior only appeared for a moment and didn't make a move; otherwise, no one in the entire Purple Cloud City would have been his match," the fourth guard sighed.

"Any guesses why this senior glanced at the Teleportation Array?" the first guard asked.

The second guard thought for a moment, the mysterious dark-robed man naturally coming to mind, and ventured, "Could it be that man in the dark robe?"

"He's the only one who used the Teleportation Array today. It's definitely related to him," the first guard nodded in agreement.

They knew nothing about the man in the dark robe. However, since he was willing to pay with Spirit Stones, they certainly wouldn't reject such a lucrative deal.

"Strange, I haven't even left the Daluo Region, and the puppet has stopped."

Ye Yun, who was in the process of tearing through the void, also suddenly stopped, a hint of surprise on his face.

He had initially thought that the Dragon Raiser's puppet would surely leave the Daluo Region. Unexpectedly, after leaping through just thirteen cities, it had begun to fly at an incredibly high speed.

These thirteen cities were no more than thirty million miles apart from each other.

For Ye Yun, tearing through the void meant he could quickly reach that location. There was no real need to use a Teleportation Array and navigate in circles, which was even more inconvenient.

Ye Yun tore through the void once more and arrived in the territory where the Dragon-rearing Puppet was located.

The void rippled.

Ye Yun and the Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon emerged from within.

The Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon was by now accustomed to its master tearing through the void. After all, it had journeyed with him from the Cangnan Continent, across the Ten Great Ocean areas, all the way to the Daluo Region. The total distance covered was almost unimaginable. His master had managed to continuously tear through the void over such vast distances. Covering such a short distance now was even more effortless for him. Thus, the Azure Wood dragon found this completely routine.

"Master, what are you tracking?" the Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon asked with surprise, looking around.

It had no idea what its master had been up to all this time, as Ye Yun had not told it about the Dragon Raiser.

"Remember that Dragon Raiser? I'm looking for him," Ye Yun said with a faint smile.

At that moment, his expression shifted slightly.

The Dragon-rearing Puppet, after flying to a certain place, abruptly leaped again. It seemed to have used a Teleportation Array once more, covering a short distance.

Upon reaching a particular location, the puppet stopped and remained still.

Could this be the Dragon Raiser's main lair?

Ye Yun's interest was instantly piqued. If he found the Dragon Raiser's main lair and cleaned out the entire nest, the gains would be unimaginable. Perhaps... he could even find more clues about the mastermind behind the scenes.

"Let's go."

Ye Yun tore through the void again, effortlessly covering the distance, and arrived at the Dragon-rearing Puppet's last known jump point.

They were in a valley.

Ye Yun sensed the surrounding aura and discovered a Teleportation Formation hidden within a jungle at the center of the valley.

However, this Teleportation Formation was concealed by an invisibility ward that ordinary people could not detect.

A smile touched Ye Yun's lips. "They're certainly cautious. After teleporting to their main lair, they still use a dedicated directional Teleportation Formation."

He walked into the jungle, tiny, star-like runes flickering in his eyes. The invisibility ward protecting the Teleportation Formation was easily dispelled by him.

A small Teleportation Formation came into view.

The Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon looked astonished. "Master, these Dragon Raisers are truly cautious, taking every precaution for fear of being discovered."

"It's not hard to understand. A young dragon is worth ten billion Spirit Stones, and their lair contains many of them. That's an unimaginably vast fortune," Ye Yun said with a smile.

He didn't mention anything about the mastermind pulling the strings; the Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon's understanding was still shallow, and it was not appropriate to involve it.

Moreover, Ye Yun didn't intend to let these juniors enter the Divine Land in the future. It was better for them to cultivate diligently and peacefully on the Cangnan Continent, the ancestral home of the Dragon Clan. As for this vast Divine Land, Ye Yun alone was more than enough to explore it.

Of course, now wasn't the time. The three juniors from the Dragon God Sect had not yet matured, and the Dragon God Sect itself had not rebuilt its mountain gate. Everything still required time.

Having already signed in for a hundred thousand years, Ye Yun was not short on time. He had been resurrected from the ancient tomb less than a year ago, so there was no need to rush.

As he continued to overcome challenges on the Cangnan Continent, Ye Yun's methods grew increasingly adept. Simultaneously, he gathered more clues, becoming more familiar with the mastermind's style and techniques.

A ray of light flared.

Ye Yun activated the directional Teleportation Formation, and the two of them instantly vanished into the void.

「Deep underground.」

A colossal Bronze Palace sat there, sprawling in the earth like a giant beast.

At the palace entrance was an ancient Teleportation Formation. As the void fluctuated, a ray of light descended, revealing two figures.

Ye Yun glanced around and, finding no guards at the palace entrance, a cold smirk touched his lips. It seems the Dragon Raisers are quite confident that no one can find this place.

Ye Yun walked towards the Bronze Palace.

The palace was incredibly ancient, exuding an aura of great antiquity.

At the entrance of the ancient Bronze Palace stood two massive stone pillars. Each stone pillar was entwined with two Bronze Giant Dragons. The Bronze Giant Dragons were lifelike, their dragon heads gazing into the void with ferocious expressions, creating a sinister and bizarre impression.

Reaching the entrance, Ye Yun peered inside through a crack in the ajar Bronze Door.

「Inside the grand hall.」

There was an immense silver pool, upon whose surface floated seven enormous golden Dragon Nests. Each Dragon Nest radiated a faint golden light, appearing both mystical and splendid.

Inside each golden Dragon Nest lay four or five massive Dragon Eggs, seemingly in the process of gestation and hatching.

The seven golden Dragon Nests were arranged in the formation of the Big Dipper.

A grim look flashed across Ye Yun's face. The Seven-star Formation again.

It was truly beyond belief that the Dragon Raisers would use a Seven-star Formation to incubate Dragon Eggs.

"Master, there are so many Dragon Eggs in this hall!" the Nether Blood Green Wooden Dragon transmitted in a shocked, hushed tone.

"Hmm?" Ye Yun's expression suddenly shifted. He had spotted the Dragon-rearing Puppet walking towards a divine altar beside the pool.

It lit a stick of incense, bowed three times consecutively, and then placed the incense into the censer.

Upon the divine altar stood a divine statue, its limbs entwined with Divine Dragons.

In front of the statue was a God Plaque, inscribed with two words: Dragon Candle.
