"This broken sword... it's becoming more and more restless."
Lord Ancestor Dragon stood with his hands behind his back, gazing at the Colorful Palace, his eyes tinged with a touch of worry.
A serpent-like red light emerged from the cracks in the palace. Spotting Lord Ancestor Dragon still standing guard, it quickly retreated.
Lord Ancestor Dragon sighed.
He continuously formed seals with his hands, emitting beams of light that infused the small cracks in the palace, firmly sealing them.
After resealing the palace, Lord Ancestor Dragon vanished in a blink.
The phantom projection started to fade and eventually disappeared entirely.
The once-prostrate wandering souls listlessly rose and resumed their aimless drifting.
Big Black Horse and the Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon let out long sighs of relief, feeling their bodies finally relax.
"So this is what Lord Ancestor Dragon looks like!"
The Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon sighed, his eyes revealing a mix of surprise and desolation.
Although he had lived in ancient times, he was just an insignificant hybrid dragon who had never seen the legendary Lord Ancestor Dragon. Unexpectedly, millions of years later, he had the chance to see Lord Ancestor Dragon's phantom projection on Moon Star.
Big Black Horse, however, did not have as many complex thoughts as the Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon. After all, he was not a demon beast from this world. The Ancestor Dragon's aura was simply too overpowering, leaving him deeply intimidated.
"So, the treasure sealed within this Colorful Palace is a broken sword…" Ye Yun murmured to himself, looking towards the ruins.
That a broken sword could emit such bizarre power is somewhat unbelievable. It seems this sword's level possibly exceeds this world's limits.
Items of this level also exist in my storage, Ye Yun mused. However, they're too high-level, and I can't bring them out.
I wonder where Ancestor Dragon found this broken sword, he thought. But this broken sword, even while sealed, could still pierce through its confinement to reveal that terrifying red energy. That shows how terrifying this broken sword truly is.
Ye Yun's gaze flickered as he surveyed the entire ruins. Suddenly, he reached out and gathered some of the red energy particles, collecting them before putting them away.
This trip to Moon Star and dealing with the Coffin Carriers had been a minor affair. The true gain was discovering the nature of the treasure sealed by Lord Ancestor Dragon; that was crucial. In the future, when I arrive at the Divine Land, I'll have a clear target.
Ye Yun speculated that the phantom scene had appeared due to the lingering obsession within the hearts of the wandering souls, formerly Xuan Yin Moon Dragons. My presence may have stirred something within them, causing them to gather. Their heightened emotions and agitated minds might have collectively produced a mirage-like Divine Skill, replaying the scene of Ancestor Dragon descending upon Moon Star to seal the Colorful Palace.
"Let's go."
Looking around, Ye Yun hesitated momentarily before deciding to leave this place first.
These wandering souls were upholding the obsession of the Xuan Yin Moon Dragons by guarding the palace's perimeter. Let them continue, Ye Yun thought. Perhaps for these souls, guarding this place for Lord Ancestor Dragon is an immense honor. I don't want to disrupt it for now.
Ye Yun tore through the void, bringing Big Black Horse and the Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon back to the Heavenly Moon Dynasty, landing them back on the carriage.
A thought suddenly occurred to Ye Yun, and he turned to Big Black Horse with a smile. "You've lost your weapon, Little Horse."
"Yes, sir," Big Black Horse said, scratching his head, visibly dejected. The golden axe given to him by his master had saved his life on Moon Star, but now this beloved treasure was gone.
"Wait."
Ye Yun took three strands of Rebirth Thunder from his storage, condensed them into an axe, and added four Purple Runes to it.
"This axe is three times denser than the previous one, and I've added an extra rune. It should be sufficient for a while." Ye Yun smiled lightly and tossed the golden axe to Big Black Horse.
"Thank you, sir!" Big Black Horse immediately knelt, cradling the golden axe with both hands, his voice filled with surprise and joy.
"Rise." Ye Yun smiled, and with a sweep of mana, he lifted Big Black Horse.
The Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon's eyes twinkled. Seizing the opportunity, he quickly said, "Sir, that Octagonal Bright Silver Hammer of yours is truly impressive. Could you perhaps give me one?"
"No problem." Ye Yun smiled lightly. He stretched out his hand, and a silver Octagonal Bright Silver Hammer appeared, which he tossed to the Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon.
"This is fantastic! It's a pity there's only one; having dual hammers would be even better," the Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon said, lovingly caressing the Octagonal Bright Silver Hammer and clicking his tongue in admiration.
"Indeed, there is a pair. You guessed right." Ye Yun laughed heartily and pulled out another Octagonal Bright Silver Hammer, tossing it to the Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon.
"There's another one?" The Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon was so excited he almost burst into tears, immediately catching the second Octagonal Bright Silver Hammer.
Wielding the two large hammers, he swung them twice, feeling ecstatic.
"Kitty, look at me flaunting these hammers! Am I impressive?" the Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon asked, looking at Kitty and grinning.
"Senior, you're indeed very impressive!" Kitty quickly flattered him.
She simply thought that this senior's style, wielding his hammers... was quite amusing. But she couldn't tell the truth.
"HAHA!" The Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon laughed loudly twice, then started fondling the two Octagonal Bright Silver Hammers again with great affection.
"You two are really lucky! Going out on a mission and getting treasures from the Master in return," Azure Sea Heavenly Dragon said, raising his head and yawning, his tone sour.
The Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon glanced at him and laughed. "Blame your own high cultivation base!"
Those words left Azure Sea Heavenly Dragon speechless. When did having a high cultivation base become a fault?
He was quite frustrated and prepared to go back to sleep.
"Little Blue Cat…" Ye Yun said, looking at the adorable blue kitten at his feet and suddenly smiling.
"Master, do you have a mission for me?" Hearing his master's call, Azure Sea Heavenly Dragon immediately raised his head and asked in high spirits.
"I'll assign you a task next time. If you perform well, I'll gift you a set of armor." Ye Yun, stroking his chin, looked at Azure Sea Heavenly Dragon and smiled. "I know you fancy that Asura Armor."
"Thank you, Master!" Azure Sea Heavenly Dragon immediately agreed, as energized as if he'd had a shot of adrenaline.
Ye Yun burst into loud laughter.
Big Black Horse put away his golden hatchet, transformed again, and resumed pulling the carriage.
"Master, where are we going?" Big Black Horse asked, turning his head.
"Let's go to the Dragon Cave…" After Ye Yun spoke, he lifted the carriage curtain and went inside.
Big Black Cat was still in the Covert Dragon Coffin, with only a trace of life remaining. Ye Yun still hadn't fully investigated the Seven-star formation on its chest. Now that he had annihilated the Coffin Carrier Clan, it was a good time to go to the Dragon Cave to explore. I also want to know how this vessel was made, Ye Yun thought.
Seeing Big Black Horse transform, the Bloody Overlord Demonic Dragon immediately turned into a small red cat and lay on the carriage. However, he still held the two huge Octagonal Bright Silver Hammers and began to refine them incessantly.
「Somewhere in the Heavenly Moon Dynasty's mountain range.」
A black carriage suddenly appeared from the void and landed.
Ye Yun stepped out of the carriage and stood above the Dragon Cave. With a light tap of his hand, the seal on the Dragon Cave instantly broke.
Ye Yun's figure flashed, and he appeared next to the five black Covert Dragon Coffins.
These five Covert Dragon Coffins floated erratically in the golden light.
Upon closer inspection, streams of Dragon Qi could be seen continuously converging into each Covert Dragon Coffin.
Ye Yun pointed once again, shooting out four rays of light that landed on the other four Covert Dragon Coffins. The reinforced seals on them were instantly broken by him.
With the seals gone, Ye Yun could see the situation inside the other four Covert Dragon Coffins at a single glance.
