Evil Dragon Crazy Soldier King

Chapter 324: The Incident at Yaka Town (Second Update)

Lady Feijin didn't hide anything, "Yes, my master is a Huaxia person who runs a cattle hide business."

"He often stopped by Yaka Town, and later got to know my father. He took me in and taught me the Eight Extremes Fist."

Yang Fei hmmmed, thinking The Land of Huaxia is indeed a place where hidden talents abound.

He just didn't know which lineage of the Eight Extremes Fist did Lady Feijin's master belong to?

As they chatted, the truck's engine roared persistently forward.

Before long, the outline of a small town emerged above the endless wasteland in front of them.

At the entrance to the town, there was a guard post, as well as fortifications made of sandbags.

Within the semi-circular sandbag fortification, two heavy machine guns were installed diagonally.

If enemies wanted to forcefully attack here,

just these two heavy machine guns could pose a significant threat to them.

Yang Fei looked at the dilapidated town and thought to himself, "I wonder if Mad Blade and Fan Yi have arrived."

Lady Feijin rolled down the car window, revealing half of her enchanting face.

The guard immediately saluted her, "Lady Feijin has returned."

The guard removed the anti-ram traffic spike strips that were blocking the middle of the road, allowing Lady Feijin to enter.

Back in Yaka Town, Lady Feijin's mood visibly improved.

She began to introduce Yang Fei to the situation in Yaka Town.

It turned out that Yaka Town has always been at the center of the Land of Chaos.

Various forces occupy this place, making it a trading center of the Underworld.

In Yaka, there's nothing money can't buy.

Women, drugs, weapons...

You can only fail to think of it; you cannot fail to buy it.

Many Bounty Hunters choose to submit their tasks and collect their bounties here as well.

This has led to Yaka Town's abnormal prosperity and made it a paradise for criminals.

The control of Yaka Town is in the hands of Earl Ao Gunning, the King of the Great Owls.

The camp of the strong Song of October violent legion is stationed less than two kilometers outside the town.

The Song of October ensures the safety of the entire Yaka Town.

No matter who it is, anyone who dares to cause trouble in Yaka Town will be taken away by the guards of Song of October or even shot on the spot.

Here, everything is unimaginably expensive; a cup of coffee could cost hundreds of thousands.

The only inexpensive thing is human life.

People living in peaceful nations could never imagine how terrifying this chaotic place is.

There's no justice, no law, no safety guarantees.

There is only the survival of the fittest, the stark reality of the jungle's law.

Anyone entering the town, no matter how noble, must pay a considerable sum of money.

In return, they get a temporary residence permit.

Such a permit is so rough it's unfit even for wiping one's behind.

However, it offers each person entering Yaka Town a guarantee of safety.

They won't lose their lives at just any minor provocation.

But despite the guards of Song of October maintaining the basic social order, the place is still incredibly dangerous.

Nearly every night, a dozen or so murder cases happen.

If the murderer can be found, at least the Song of October can punish the perpetrator.

If the murderer remains unknown, then a life is simply lost in vain.

Even so, Yaka Town is still regarded as heaven in the Land of Chaos.

After all, nobody dares to engage in large-scale firefights or killings here.

Lady Feijin's Iron-Blooded Frenzy Dance and the Birch Legion are powers that nobody in Yaka Town dares to provoke.

Even the formidable Song of October must show goodwill to these two armed forces.

Of course, it's not that the Song of October fears these two powers.

This goodwill is mostly conciliatory, much like how an Emperor must treat powerful and influential Generals with cordiality.

And even though the two powers have established bases in Yaka Town, they still cannot break the rules.

The protection fees that the two major forces paid to Song of October every month were a sum of astronomical wealth.

It was already nightfall, and on the simple streets, there walked many strangely attired individuals.

Some of these people were in tattered clothes, yet looked lively and spirited.

Some were dressed in suits and polished shoes, looking noble and refined, yet their faces were filled with panic.

There were barmaids in revealing attire and gold prospectors with messy hair and beards.

There were mercenaries with rifles on their backs, as well as refugee politicians, stumbling drunk through the streets, cursing and swearing.

Of course, most of them were bounty hunters, with cold and watchful eyes, keeping their peace.

Yang Fei and Lady Feijin drove their truck, rumbling down the long street.

The mud they splashed up caused many pedestrians to cry out and dodge.

Yet nobody dared to curse out aloud.

All of this was because inside the truck sat Lady Feijin.

Her enchanting half-face was like a curse, sealing the lips of all onlookers.

The temporary stronghold of Iron-Blooded Frenzy Dance was at the end of the long street.

After turning a corner, a series of low-lying residential buildings came into view.

Yang Fei noticed that these residential buildings, although rudimentary, had thick walls.

The roofs were covered with stone slabs, and the openings of doors and windows were very small.

Dozens of residential houses surrounded a vast courtyard, leaving many gun ports facing outward.

At first glance, the stronghold resembled a large fortification.

The truck rumbled into the courtyard, and immediately quite a few people gathered around.

The person leading them, a tall and burly elder from Huaxia, strode over.

"Lady Feijin, I heard you were injured, how is the wound?"

The elder spoke in the local Russian dialect.

As he spoke, he cast wary glances at Yang Fei, who was at the driver's seat.

Lady Feijin got out of the vehicle, holding her waist, her face pale.

"I encountered a sniper, and judging by their weapon of choice, it must be the elite Don River Guard of the Birch Family."

The elder twisted his grizzled beard, harrumphing deeply.

"That bastard Old White Shark, one day, I will lay him to rest."

He asked with concern, "What about the shipment?"

Lady Feijin gasped, "Has Yang Kai not returned yet?"

The elder's face changed, "Didn't you return together?"

Lady Feijin's complexion looked extremely unsightly.

"Yang Kai and I were handling this shipment, worried about trouble from the Birch Family and others."

"So, I went ahead to draw the enemy's attention, allowing Yang Kai to take the men by another route back to Yaka Town."

"I encountered the enemy along the way and fought with them; logically, Yang Kai should have been home by now."

"That implies that Yang Kai has encountered a major problem."

The elder's expression kept changing.

He strode toward the central house in the courtyard.

"Gather the men immediately, we must rescue Yang Kai."

Throughout it all, the elder hadn't spared a glance at Yang Fei.

Yang Fei felt disinclined to get out of the vehicle, merely watching the elder and Lady Feijin with detachment.

Just then, the gate of the courtyard was kicked open by someone.

A burly man barged in.

He was about thirty years old, with dark skin and a buzz cut.

The man was brimming with ferocity, and his shoulder was bandaged, clearly indicating he was wounded.

Upon seeing Lady Feijin, he charged towards her, furious.

"Lady Feijin, what a fine mess you've made!"

Lady Feijin looked coolly at the one with the buzz cut.

"Yang Kai, you're back, where's the cargo?"
