Xiahou Chun has mastered over a thousand paths, ranking as a powerful figure in epic tales, able to crush entities like Zai. How could anyone let them escape?

"Someone saved them!" Xiahou Chun said in a deep voice.

"What!" Ye Chen was shocked.

Zai and the others were chased by Xiahou Chun, fleeing to the depths of the universe, yet someone rescued them?!

Too much hidden information came to light, leaving Ye Chen momentarily panicked.

Zai, Huangwu, and others were old adversaries of Ye Chen; if Xiahou Chun killed them, Ye Chen would have no worries left.

However, fate deemed they should not die, and they were unexpectedly rescued, which means Ye Chen is in danger!

Zai, Huangwu, Man Qiu, and Dong Xu are all ancient calamities, having mastered over seven hundred paths. Should they join forces against Ye Chen, it would lead him into a desperate situation!

"You're too young and naive, there's much you don't understand!" Xiahou Chun said. "This world is chaotic, like a muddy water, the more you stir, the muddier it gets, and no one can see the bottom!"

"Brother Xiahou, what's going on?" Ye Chen asked curiously.

Xiahou Chun is an ancient calamity, his life spans ages, knowing countless secrets, which Ye Chen deeply wants to explore.

"I just chased Huangwu and the others to the edge of the universe, leaving them with no escape, no hiding!" Xiahou Chun said. "But just when I was about to destroy them, two epic calamities appeared to stop me!"

"They held you back?" Ye Chen asked incredulously. "You've mastered over a thousand paths, they can hold you back?"

"Yes!" Xiahou Chun said solemnly. "Not only did they hold me back, they engaged me in a massive battle, making it tough even for me!"

"Who are they? So formidable!" Ye Chen exclaimed in shock.

Xiahou Chun, such a figure, who could possibly rival him?

Yet now not only is someone rivaling him, but they even make it tough for him, leaving Ye Chen unable to imagine, what kind of people could stop Xiahou Chun from killing, even putting him at a disadvantage.

"The Ten Fears!" Xiahou Chun said.

"The Ten Fears?" Ye Chen's eyes narrowed.

Ye Chen had heard the term Ten Fears before, but he wasn't quite sure what it represented!

"The Ten Fears represent ten people!" Xiahou Chun said.

"Hmm?" Ye Chen's face tightened, seeming to have recalled something, looking at Xiahou Chun. "Are you one of the Ten Fears?"

Suddenly, Ye Chen recalled that Huangwu and the others had mentioned Xiahou Chun as one of the Ten Fears!

"Correct!" Xiahou Chun nodded. "I am one of the Ten Fears!"

"In Ancient Times, when heaven and earth first opened, a hundred epic figures vied for dominance!"

"Among them, ten of the strongest earned the title of Ten Fears!"

"Ranked first was Hongmeng Taoist, second was Nie Qingxian, and I was ranked third..."

Xiahou Chun slowly began to recount ancient stories, Ye Chen listened intently, afraid to miss anything.

Ye Chen was too young, even though he had become an epic figure, there were still many things he didn't fully understand!

Now, with Xiahou Chun revealing ancient tales, Ye Chen merely needed to listen, which would help him grasp the situation clearly!

The Ten Fears represent the ten strongest people, namely: Hongmeng Taoist, Nie Qingxian, Xiahou Chun, He Sansheng, Lin Xijin, Wan Daosheng, Divine Elephant, Ling Chaofan, Ao Shi, Muran.

Hongmeng Taoist mastered two thousand paths, unquestionably ranking first!

Nie Qingxian is a woman, but mastered one thousand paths, securing the second position.

Xiahou Chun mastered eight hundred paths, ranking third; He Sansheng mastered six hundred paths, ranking fourth; Lin Xijin mastered four hundred paths, ranking fifth!

The bottom five of the Ten Fears are roughly even, having mastered around three hundred paths!

However, this ranking hasn't changed, remaining consistent for hundreds of thousands of years!

Take Xiahou Chun for example, hundreds of thousands of years ago, he only mastered eight hundred paths!

But now he has completely transformed, mastering one thousand two hundred paths, far surpassing his past self!

So long as none of the Ten Fears have fallen, they surely would make progress!

"The two people who rescued Zai, are they among the Ten Fears?" Ye Chen asked.

"Yes!" Xiahou Chun replied. "One is He Sansheng, and the other is Wan Daosheng!"

"Ranked fourth and sixth!" Ye Chen gasped.

Within the Ten Fears, He Sansheng ranked fourth, just below Xiahou Chun, and Wan Daosheng ranked sixth, a formidable individual!

With two of the Ten Fears joining forces, it's no wonder Xiahou Chun retreated!

"He Sansheng and Wan Daosheng have made leaps in cultivation, one mastering one thousand five hundred paths, another mastering one thousand two hundred paths, both are super formidable!" Xiahou Chun said. "Therefore, seeing them emerge to rescue Zai, I turned back!"

"He Sansheng surpassed you?" Ye Chen asked incredulously.

If He Sansheng mastered one thousand five hundred paths, wouldn't that surpass Xiahou Chun? Furthermore, Wan Daosheng, ranked sixth, had also mastered one thousand two hundred paths and could rival Xiahou Chun!

"No!" Xiahou Chun shook his head. "Though they are formidable, they're not my match!"

Ye Chen looked at Xiahou Chun's calm demeanor, his heart surging with waves of shock.

Xiahou Chun had stated it so clearly, if Ye Chen still didn't understand, he'd be a fool!

If He Sansheng mastered one thousand five hundred paths, Wan Daosheng mastered one thousand two hundred, and neither are Xiahou Chun's match, then just how strong is Xiahou Chun?

Yet, why does he conceal his strength?

"With He Sansheng and Wan Daosheng's appearance, I could have killed Zai too, but I didn't continue, instead I retreated. Do you know why?" Xiahou Chun looked at Ye Chen.

"I don't know!" Ye Chen shook his head honestly.

"Because things have become complicated!" Xiahou Chun sighed. "I fear that attacking and killing them would provoke even stronger beings!"

"Even stronger beings!" Ye Chen's heart jolted.

Xiahou Chun is already the third among the Ten Fears. For him to speak of even stronger beings, could it be Nie Qingxian, or perhaps Hongmeng Taoist?

However, Nie Qingxian is similar to Xiahou Chun, seemingly not enough to make him wary. Only one could make Xiahou Chun apprehensive, and that is the first among the Ten Fears, Hongmeng Taoist!

But, isn't Hongmeng Taoist dead?

"Both He Sansheng and Wan Daosheng died, hundreds of thousands of years ago!" Xiahou Chun said. "Moreover, I personally killed He Sansheng, without a doubt. Yet now he is alive!"

"Back then, not just He Sansheng died, Wan Daosheng died as well, many died!"

"But now He Sansheng lives, Wan Daosheng lives. Will others come back to life too?"
