In response to the extremely abrupt action of the Fireman, Yi Tian did not resist. If it were anyone else approaching Yi Tian so rashly in such a setting, they likely would have already been blasted away by Yi Tian before making a move. However, Yi Tian didn't attack the Fireman, because when the Fireman appeared, he already recognized who the Fireman was and understood why he was helping him.
With a ghostly figure suddenly beside him, Yi Tian wasn't surprised at all. For these two who were helping him, Yi Tian felt only excitement. However, this was not the time for excitement and reminiscing; they had to break out of this chaotic camp, otherwise, they would be surrounded by even more attackers.
Though the attack was directed towards the Alliance, those bystanders' motives were many, and a chaotic situation like this doesn't come by easily. If they don't seize the opportunity to muddy the waters further and let the Alliance take the blame, they wouldn't survive. Therefore, those attacking in the chaos not only sought to ambush Alliance members but, if possible, also attack members of other forces. Only by keeping this chaos going could they quickly resolve the stalemate at the edges. No one would want to watch such a juicy piece of meat fall into someone else's hands.
As the Fireman and the ghostly figure led Yi Tian to break through, they were soon blocked by some of those Alliance guys as soon as they tried to move. Moreover, the person immediately recognized the identities of the Fireman and the ghostly figure upon appearing.
"Xiao Ruo, I didn't expect to find you here." The person said venomously, with hatred evident in his tone, clearly someone who had suffered at the hands of Xiao Ruo.
The Fireman, whose identity was revealed, did not show any sign of surprise, with flames still burning on his body. He snorted coldly and said, "Why can't I be here?" Before he finished speaking, he suddenly turned into a fiery blaze and crashed into the person's arms, delivering five or six consecutive punches, forcing the person to repeatedly step back, then turned around and continued leading Yi Tian to break through.
But Yi Tian was eager to reunite with Shu and the others, how could he let Xiao Ruo lead him in the opposite direction? Relying on his sense of direction, he suddenly turned and astonishingly led Xiao Ruo flying off in another direction.
"Our camp isn't that way!" Xiao Ruo shouted. The direction Yi Tian was leading them to was at the edges, a place though not chaotic, was targeted by every force. Rushing in recklessly would definitely attract attacks from other forces.
Yi Tian did not answer, nor did he know how to. Anyway, Situ Hao was definitely over there. To save Yi Yun, he must find Situ Hao first; otherwise, everything would be in vain.
However, Xiao Ruo and Long Feiyun didn't know what Yi Tian intended and were stunned when he acted this way. Just as they were about to stop Yi Tian's action, the person whom Xiao Ruo had just blasted away again inexplicably barreled in, placing himself directly between Yi Tian and them.
"Do you think that's enough to kill me?" The person's expression turned vicious, glaring sinisterly at Xiao Ruo, and after letting out a strange shout, charged at Xiao Ruo. Red flames burst from his body, somewhat blinding.
Though on the battlefield, being suddenly blocked was extremely frustrating, especially having just reunited with Yi Tian and Xiao Ruo without even exchanging a few words before being interrupted. With a furious roar, Xiao Ruo looked at the charging person and unhesitatingly launched a punch, which carried his smoldering anger, like he was ready to tear that person apart.
Long Feiyun shifted, bypassed the careless person in pursuit, and caught up with Yi Tian. While they were being blocked, Yi Tian had already charged a good distance, but due to the battlefield, he was soon blocked again. Long Feiyun rushed over to help Yi Tian break through.
In the past, Yi Tian would never disregard Xiao Ruo and Long Feiyun, but now carrying an unconscious Yi Yun, he didn't know what actions the Alliance would take upon discovering his tracks. However, he had a growing sense of unease about saving Yi Yun; this feeling clawed at his heart like a cat's paw.
Diving into the crowd, Yi Tian's figure quickly disappeared from Long Feiyun's sight. Long Feiyun wanted to follow, but he, like Xiao Ruo, was caught up with others and couldn't break free.
These two were not only facing members of the Alliance but various other forces as well. Given that they were leading the attack on the Alliance's camp, Bai Xinyu and the others should've lent a hand. But those guys didn't and merely watched from the sidelines with no intention to intervene. It seemed they intended just to watch the chaos unfold. The child hiding nearby saw this and cursed softly; however, he couldn't reveal himself, or the farce would be even more unmanageable.
On this lively battlefield, Yi Tian, carrying someone and just focused on running, stood out. In such situations, the more unusual a person seemed, the more they would attract attention. As expected, after a few steps, Yi Tian was blocked again. The intercepting person was of unknown allegiance; nonetheless, upon spotting Yi Tian, the unusually bizarre individual, he wore a wicked smile and attacked without uttering a word.
The attack was lethal from the get-go. The surging energy startled Yi Tian, making him take a step back, before he met the attack.
The clash between these two quickly drowned in the battlefield's clamor.
Silver Light erupted from Yi Tian. It was faint but formidable. The attacker didn't know of Yi Tian's prowess. Though Yi Tian consistently opposed the Alliance, his reputation wasn't prominent. Truth be told, his time on Earth was shorter than in Quicksand Star Domain, where his reputation was somewhat more notable.
A lack of fame didn't mean Yi Tian lacked strength.
After the Silver Light flashed, the person across stood in shock, staring at his hand. A small wound appeared at the end of his fist, with a faint Silver Light flickering weakly. Yet, this weak light wormed into the wound, eventually squeezing in completely, then coursing through his bloodstream, heading into his heart.
Thud. The person only felt a violent heartbeat, spitting out blood as his chest exploded. Red blood sprayed onto those nearby, but none noticed the gruesome state of the person's demise.
Without even glancing at the person, Yi Tian broke out, continuing his action undeterred. To him, these people couldn't halt his movement. Breaking through continuously, despite the chaos, everyone was busy facing their own foes. Even if someone spotted Yi Tian's peculiar actions, they had no time to impede him.
Breaking through the crowd was extremely difficult, especially since he dared not escape into the air; otherwise, he would have long since fled the camp and entered the border area. To avoid another encirclement, this was his only option. After an unknown amount of time spent laboriously breaking through, Yi Tian barely made it outside.
The outer defenses were long scattered under previous sieges, and no one could stop Yi Tian's footsteps. He glanced at the chaotic camp, ensured no pursuit, then swiftly flew toward Shu's location. Having successfully burst out of the Alliance's camp and contemplating heading toward the edges, he suddenly sensed an ominous chill. Instincts honed over time prompted him to sink down, quickly sidestepping to another area with a push of his feet.
As he just moved from his previous spot, he saw a massive ice spike pierce the ground, cold air dispersing, freezing the surrounding flora instantly.
