The Supreme Beauty Fell in Love with Me

Chapter 888: Battle to the Death

This scene was witnessed by quite a few workers at the fishery.

"Brother Chuan, now we're completely at war with the Triad," Zhou Kai chuckled.

"Indeed!" Lin Chuan nodded.

The sky was somewhat dark; though it was four-thirty in the afternoon, the skies at the seaside appeared oppressively black, as if the heavy clouds were within reach. Lin Chuan took a deep breath and then said, "Looks like a storm's coming!"

Zhou Kai looked up at the sky, "Seems like it's really going to rain."

"Hasn't it been like this these past few days?" Lu Dapao picked his nose.

"When do you think the Triad will come knocking?" Huang Bo asked.

"Anytime," Lin Chuan replied.

"It seems we must always be on guard," Zhou Kai said seriously.

...

Fuchuan Hotel.

At six-thirty that evening, the information was passed through a Triad informant at the fishery.

Upon hearing the news, Kato Takashi was so shocked that he was almost speechless. He sat in his chair, unmoving, his gaze fixed blankly ahead. He remained silent for a long time. His assistant next to him awkwardly said, "President, this Jvyi Gang is too bold, too arrogant, to provoke our Triad so openly. I think it's time to show them some strength."

"Too brazen." Kato Takashi finally expressed his anger.

"President, what do you think we should do?" the assistant hurriedly asked.

"Kill, we must kill them," Kato Takashi was indeed enraged, as the Triad had only more than five hundred disciples in Fukuoka City, but Lin Chuan nearly wiped out half of them. This boldness made Kato Takashi feel a tremendous threat.

Not only that, but with so many disciples dead, as the president, how could he not avenge these brothers? Moreover, more than two hundred people died, and compensation must be given to each of their families—a substantial payout from his own pocket.

Kato Takashi was almost ready to explode; he hadn't expected such cruelty, such brutality to exist in this world.

"Huo Di, immediately inform all our brothers below to gather at Fuchuan Hotel at seven tonight," Kato Takashi thundered.

"Yes!" The assistant nodded immediately.

At seven in the evening, a swarm of cars arrived at Fuchuan Hotel, quickly assembling at the entrance, with hundreds gathering at the hotel. They were all Triad disciples, dispersed across various posts in Fukuoka City, where the Triad had many businesses there. Now, summoned by the president, they naturally came in droves.

More than two hundred people gathered at the entrance.

"Hey, why are there only so few people?" A man asked curiously, "Don't we have five or six hundred people?"

"I heard someone targeted the Triad, not only killed Shino but also slaughtered more than two hundred Triad brothers," someone who got the inside info recounted the situation vividly.

"Oh my god, who is this daring?!"

"Yeah, this is Fukuoka, not Tokyo."

Quite a few were visibly furious. Not only had the Triad been bullied, but so many brothers had been slain. It was hard for them to accept this or let it go.

"The president is here," everyone began to shout.

Indeed, Kato Takashi emerged from the hotel in loose attire, his expression marked by a touch of severity.

"President!" Everyone shouted.

Kato Takashi looked at the gathered Triad disciples and said coldly, "Everyone, our Triad has always adhered to friendly principles, but there's one who isn't friendly towards us, not only took our money but also killed our people. Can you swallow this?"

"No, we can't!" The crowd was indignant.

"Since they dare bully us, we must make them pay in blood," Kato Takashi roared, "Kill them all!"

"Kill them all. Kill them all," a swarm of people shouted angrily, each one filled with fury.

Kato Takashi's mouth curled into a strange smile as he grinned, "Let's move."

This time, Kato Takashi also decided to personally head to Fukuoka Fishery to avenge the fallen brothers. As the leader, he had to set an example. Moreover, it concerned the life-and-death vendetta between the two gangs; Kato Takashi must personally fight on the frontline, all for encouraging his brothers.

Subsequently, hundreds of vehicles rushed toward the direction of the fishery.

Fukuoka Fishery.

Lin Chuan also gathered all personnel from the fishery, as this concerned the life and death of Jvyi Gang in Fukuoka City. Lin Chuan knew the Triad would inevitably come for a fight today, so he had to prepare thoroughly. All these necessary actions needed to be completed swiftly.

Over three hundred people gathered in the fishery.

The team was neat; there wasn't even the slightest sound on-site; everyone stood silently in place, their gazes fervently fixed on Lin Chuan. Besides the sound of the cold wind, only the echoes of waves from the dock could be heard.

The weather was very cold. Although spring had already begun, the cold still made one feel miserable. Especially those heavy, dark clouds that obscured any trace of starlight or moonlight.

"This weather looks like it's going to snow," Liu Cheng muttered.

"Yeah," Huang Bo replied, blowing into his hands, trying to get warm.

Even though everyone was dressed warmly, they could not keep out the pervasive, biting wind.

Lin Chuan still wore a single garment. Many people were curious about Lin Chuan, wondering why he wore such thin clothes year-round. In summer, he wore a short-sleeved shirt. In winter, a very thin long-sleeve shirt. They had never seen Lin Chuan wear a down jacket. Even when it snowed, Lin Chuan would sometimes still be seen wearing a thin long-sleeve shirt outside, occasionally throwing on a jacket.

"Brothers!" Lin Chuan took a final drag on his cigarette, stubbed it out, and said, "Listen up, everyone, the Triad members are about to arrive. Life or death, will you choose to live or choose to die?!"

"Survive, survive!" the crowd shouted.

"Good," Lin Chuan nodded and said, "Since you choose survival, pick up your weapons and follow me to wipe out these Triad bastards."

"Kill, kill, kill!" Zhou Kai and the others raised their arms in unison. Then the few hundred people on site roared with anger.

The atmosphere on site was extremely lively; everyone seemed exceptionally thrilled and excited. Lin Chuan had completely ignited their fighting spirit, like gasoline within them had been set alight. Seeing the Jvyi Gang brothers so invigorated, Lin Chuan smiled with satisfaction.

In the dead of winter, everyone dressed very warmly. The cold wind by the sea was strong and heavy with moisture. So they had to protect their bodies to prevent premature aging.

Just as the Jvyi Gang brothers were holding the swearing-in rally, Huo Di ran back quickly from outside.

"Lin Chuan, this is bad, so many cars, many cars are coming," Huo Di said anxiously, "Over a hundred cars have arrived at the scene, surrounding our fishery."

"How many people?" Lin Chuan frowned.

Did the Triad really mobilize people from the north? Otherwise, how could they have so many cars? With over a hundred cars, there must be at least three to five hundred people. Otherwise, why so many cars?

Unexpectedly, Huo Di shook his head blankly and said, "I don't know, I didn't see exactly how many people, I just saw over a hundred cars roaring up, surrounding our fishery. I didn't dare stick around any longer."

"Brothers, prepare for defense," Lin Chuan waved.

Clatter…

The crowd hurriedly picked up their weapons. With little time, they weren't left with much to prepare. If there was enough time, Lin Chuan believed the Jvyi Gang could stand undefeated and keep casualties to a minimum.

"Zhou Kai, you take fifty men and act as the vanguard," Lin Chuan urgently ordered.

"Yes!" Zhou Kai immediately followed the order.

"Lu Dapao, you take fifty men and flank from the left," Lin Chuan looked at Lu Dapao.

"Yes!" Lu Dapao quickly nodded.

"Huang Bo, you take fifty men and flank from the right!" Lin Chuan gazed at Huang Bo again.

"Yes!" Huang Bo immediately began counting his men.

"Liu Cheng," Lin Chuan located Liu Cheng precisely among the crowd.

"Brother Chuan!" Liu Cheng squeezed excitedly through, exclaiming, "I'm here!"

"You take fifty men and flank from behind," Lin Chuan looked seriously at Liu Cheng, "Once they enter the gate, you're responsible for closing it, and cutting off their retreat. Got it?"

"Okay!" Liu Cheng nodded eagerly. This time, Lin Chuan hadn't forgotten him, which made Liu Cheng very happy.

"Li Qiang, Monk," Lin Chuan called out loudly.

"Brother Chuan," Li Qiang and Monk stepped forward.

"You two stay with the remaining people at the fishery for orders, awaiting commands," Lin Chuan said.

"Yes!" everyone nodded in agreement.

Li Qiang and Monk split up the last hundred or so people. Each had about fifty under their command. This division was for a more effective operation. It's clearly better to divide the command than to have three hundred people following a single directive. Thus, Lin Chuan decided to split the command.

Outside, a large number of vehicles had blocked the fishery's exit completely, making it impossible to leave now.

Hundreds of people jumped out of the cars, the scene bustling with heads bobbing, and cars appearing crowded. The cars in front blocked the entrance, while those behind couldn't get through and had to be parked on the road. Over a hundred cars quickly took over the scene.

Such a multitude of people and cars caught the attention of countless bystanders, who turned their heads out of curiosity.

"Are they going to fight?"

"Oh my, are they besieging this fishery?"

"It's over; the fresh market prices in Fukuoka will rise these days."
