All Immortals and Buddhas in the heavens are observing the changes in the Underworld through the Heavenly Mirror.
At Lingshan, all the Buddhas watched the scenes within the Heavenly Realm, and were all shocked.
"Those Ghost Messengers, they really are Ghost Messengers!"
"How did Sun Wukong manage to do it!"
The City of Unjust Deaths is the greatest hidden danger of the Underworld, with no way to deal with it, yet Sun Wukong, with his own power, solved these hidden dangers and flaws of the Three Realms.
"Buddha, what exactly is the method used by Sun Wukong?"
An Ancient Buddha asked.
"The power of the Heavenly Dao."
Buddha answered in four words.
He asked Manjusri Bodhisattva: "What exactly is the Wanling Map?"
"I do not know."
Manjusri Bodhisattva replied.
"It's Sun Wukong who used the Wanling Map to transform the souls."
Buddha sighed, "Truly a naturally born and divinely nurtured genius."
Such Divine Skills are shocking to hear.
That is the true Heavenly Dao, he realized today, only then understanding why the destinies of the Three Realms change.
Sun Wukong possesses the Heavenly Dao capable of overturning the fate of the Three Realms.
That is not just power, but the origin of power, the true rules.
"Well said."
Buddha murmured softly.
Allowing the souls in the City of Unjust Deaths to work for the Underworld, in exchange for the chance of reincarnation— even if they thought of this method, it would be extremely difficult to achieve.
But Sun Wukong did it.
Thus, Sun Wukong earned merit in the Underworld, making it even more troublesome to deal with him in the future.
Buddha thought of this, calculated with his fingers, and suddenly exclaimed in surprise.
"There is still a chance."
Womb of the Earth Bodhisattva still has a chance.
Buddha looked over.
At the Ghost Gate, the Ghost Messengers stopped after casting their spells.
The city had been reduced to ashes and ruins.
A chill permeated through Ksitigarbha's entire being.
"Great Saint, please immediately dismantle that map!"
He said to Sun Wukong.
Sun Wukong looked at him: "What if I don't dismantle it?"
"Then this poor monk will do it."
Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva placed the Tin Staff on the ground and struck the sky with a palm.
A golden palm print ignited with Sanskrit flames, striking towards the Wanling Map.
Sun Wukong glanced up, then withdrew his gaze.
In an instant, the palm print passed through the Wanling Map, exploding in the sky, igniting fierce flames.
"What's going on?"
Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva looked on in astonishment.
His spell couldn't even touch the Wanling Map.
"You misunderstood something."
Sun Wukong replied: "The Wanling Map is merely a manifestation of the Heavenly Dao, like a reflection in the water, the real Wanling Map..."
He paused: "Is me."
Whether it's the Heavenly Palace, the East Sea, or the Wanling Map here, they are all just his reflections.
"To destroy the Wanling Map, there's no other way but defeating me."
Sun Wukong continued.
"Thank you for resolving my doubt."
Ksitigarbha tightened his grip on the Tin Staff.
"Well said."
He muttered silently, then raised the Tin Staff high and thrust it forcefully into the ground.
A Light Gate opened behind Ksitigarbha, like a devouring abyss, from which countless black mud surged out.
Sun Wukong glanced at the Light Gate and knew instantly what it was.
Folklore says that the Tin Staff of Ksitigarbha can pry open the Gate of Hell.
Endless curses swarmed out from it, like a vast black tidal wave, tsunami-like rushing towards Sun Wukong.
"Sun Wukong!"
Ksitigarbha's voice sounded: "You have created Ghost Messengers on your own and destroyed Ghost City, I will expel you!"
"It sounds right."
Sun Wukong stood still, letting the black mud surge towards him: "But you are not yet qualified to judge me."
He made no move, yet around him, there was as if an invisible wall, preventing the black mud from tainting him in the slightest.
Ksitigarbha lifted his Tin Staff again, thrusting it hard and another Light Gate opened, from which infinite Blood Lake poured out.
That was the Blood Lake formed by Hell Karma and Karma, not even the Merit Barrier could withstand it; once tainted, one would be beyond redemption.
Ksitigarbha stared at Sun Wukong.
No matter how formidable Sun Wukong was, he was still a foreigner, and the Netherworld rejected and unwelcome any outsiders.
Here, Sun Wukong couldn't give his all.
"Add some more power, and I'm sure to drive him out!"
Ksitigarbha spurred his Mana, the Tin Staff making a deep sound.
In the Blood Sea, Sun Wukong watched as the blood gradually spread to his feet.
"Fine."
He didn't want to lose the big for the small, thus he reached out and grabbed the Jingu Bang.
"Disperse!"
With a wave of his hand, a gust of wind swept through, forcibly tearing apart all the black mud and Blood Sea, blasting them away.
The air around Sun Wukong rippled and cleared.
The two Light Gates opened by the Tin Staff were also closed by the rolling wind, no matter how Ksitigarbha tried to spur them, they could not be opened again.
Sun Wukong looked at Ksitigarbha, "Do you really wish to be my enemy?"
Ksitigarbha sighed, picked up his Tin Staff and stepped forward: "Heavenly Emperor, please..."
Before he could finish, everything blurred before his eyes, and a huge impact struck the Tin Staff, sending him and the staff flying together.
"Please consider it done."
Sun Wukong, holding the Jingu Bang, stood where Ksitigarbha was originally standing.
Ksitigarbha, as the master of the Underworld, had vast Divine Skills, but he was not skilled in combat.
Sun Wukong shook his head, stomped fiercely, and appeared right in front of Ksitigarbha who had just steadied himself; the Jingu Bang swept over again too swiftly to see the movements.
With a "boom", Ksitigarbha was blasted into the sky.
"How..."
Ksitigarbha only felt the wind by his ears, and before he could stabilize and get a clear view, a familiar aura appeared behind him.
"No..."
Before he could finish, a tremendous force came from behind.
With another "boom", he was fiercely smashed downwards, utterly powerless to resist.
"Hiss—"
Seeing Ksitigarbha falling like a meteor, the Ten Kings of Hell couldn't help but gasp.
This was not a battle, but a unilateral bullying!
"That demon monkey... is terrifying indeed!"
No wonder no one in the Heavenly Palace could stand against Sun Wukong; he really was too strong!
In a blink, Ksitigarbha was struck by Sun Wukong just before hitting the ground.
He was being battered back and forth in the air like a ball by Sun Wukong, a scene that enraged countless Immortals.
"How outrageous, how outrageous!"
In the Ten States and Three Islands, Immortals also gathered around the Heavenly Mirror, watching the situation in the Underworld.
The Immortals were absolutely furious, how could that demon monkey humiliate the compassionate Ksitigarbha!
"Why doesn't the Bodhisattva resist!"
Hot-headed Fire Virtue Star Monarch exclaimed in shock and fury.
"Perhaps the Bodhisattva is intentionally doing this."
Wang Lingguan said, "He is the lord of Netherworld, the way Sun Wukong treats him, he must suffer from the backlash of Karma."
Fire Virtue Star Monarch's eyes lit up: "Does that mean Sun Wukong won't be rampant for long?"
"Naturally."
Wang Lingguan nodded, "The Bodhisattva must be increasing his Karma, taking the opportunity to expel him from the Underworld."
But inside, he also wondered, he had seen the power of Sun Wukong's Jingu Bang, why did it seem somewhat ineffectual today?
