With a rumbling sound, Luo Pengfei pushed open the stone door before him.

The smell that mixed the miasma of monsters, demonic qi, yin qi, and the odor of beasts charged intensely at Luo Pengfei's face, instantly filling the surrounding air.

Afterward, Luo Pengfei stepped into the chamber.

"My child, your foster father has come to see you!" Luo Pengfei said as he gently patted the furnace with his right hand.

He waited quietly for a moment.

"Thud! Thud! Thud!" Suddenly, several muffled sounds came from within the furnace, as if something was fiercely striking against it.

"Child, don't worry, your father will let you out now!" Luo Pengfei said again. Then, he forced out a small amount of Five Elements Yang Energy Power from his body and used Five Elements Spells to transform this mana into four iron arrowheads that severed the red lines connecting the dragon heads at the base of the furnace to the four items in the corners used to ward off evil.

Just as the four strings were severed, there was a sudden loud "bang," and the cover of the bronze furnace was blown away, hitting the ceiling of the chamber before falling to the ground with another loud noise.

"My child!" Luo Pengfei called out earnestly, looking at that face.

The boy opened his eyes, each shining with a different color of light, one yellow and the other red; soon after, the colors changed to purple and green.

When the lights faded, a pair of dull grey eyes was revealed.

"Adoptive father, you've finally come to see me!" the boy said, his expression forlorn, his tone tinged with sadness.

"Child, your adoptive father has had important matters to attend to recently, so I haven't had much time to visit you!" Luo Pengfei explained, "Besides, you're supposed to be cultivating in this furnace, aren't you? I feared I might disturb you."

Over two hundred years ago, to achieve immortal life, Luo Pengfei activated the Five Elements Reincarnation Formation, consequently breaking the seals that once imprisoned these demonic creatures, allowing them to escape.

However, not long after they regained their freedom, they were captured one by one by Luo Pengfei and thrown into this bronze furnace, where he sealed them with Yin Yang Arts. Soon after, Luo Pengfei gathered a large amount of millennial trees scorched by the sun's rays, and burned these Yang Wood to refine the furnace.

Later, after ten years of burning, all the vengeful and evil spirits in the bronze furnace were incinerated, leaving behind only Yin Qi Spiritual Power; the corpses of demons and monstrous beasts were reduced to a heap of white bones, laden with vast amounts of Demonic Qi, beastly qi, and beastly energy.
