Legend of Dragon Son-in-law

Chapter 1917: Rain

"Sneaky!"

Julius Reed didn't pay attention to that sword.

Something he doesn't want, no one else can take!

Its value doesn't matter.

If he needs it in the future, he'll snatch it back himself!

For now, he doesn't want it, regardless of whose hands it falls into, it has nothing to do with him!

The street situation was wrapping up.

The Undead Tribe, after paying a heavy price, fled through the gate!

Julius Reed spotted the figure, leaped into the air, jumped down from the tavern's top floor, continuously crossing rooftops, heading towards that figure!

Looks very familiar!

But for the moment, he couldn't recall who it was.

What puzzled Julius Reed was that this figure suddenly vanished.

No matter how he searched, he couldn't see it.

Inside a civilian home.

Aron Jackson pressed closely against the wall, not daring to breathe.

He is just an ordinary person, without the abundant spiritual power of a martial artist.

Thus when Julius Reed searched with his consciousness, he didn't sense Aron Jackson right under his feet.

Scanning around and confirming the figure was gone, Julius Reed prepared to leave.

Who could it be?

Why was that sword constantly being forced into his hands?

"Stop!"

Julius Reed had just stepped onto the street when he sensed the murderous intent behind him!

He bent down!

Whoosh!

Clang!

A rolling pin flew close to his scalp, piercing into a wall.

"You dare attack me?"

Julius Reed turned around, seeing a group of villagers.

"Skillful, huh?" The leading village chief managed to procure another rolling pin from somewhere, looked Julius Reed up and down, and said, "You don't look like the Undead Tribe, scram, don't be a nuisance here."

"You're thinking, since I can dodge your attack, I'm a formidable character you don't want to offend, right?"

Holding his Yin-Yang sword, Julius Reed grinned at the villagers in front of him. "If I hadn't reacted promptly just now, I might have already been dead."

For others, it wouldn't be easy to dodge in an unguarded moment.

The village chief's speed is incredibly fast!

His power is exceptionally strong!

This burst far exceeds common Great Grandmasters.

"So what's your intention? Having a way out but choosing to die?" The village chief chuckled, "I don't mind killing someone. Look, so many people died in the city, one more won't matter."

Julius Reed wasn't wrong; Pranay Martinez gave them orders to eliminate the Undead Tribe's forces.

After all, according to Levin Lake's information, Devlin was highly suspected to have broken into the crafting platform.

Thus, he is very unkind to the Undead Tribe.

But it's wise to avoid getting into trouble with other experts.

The identity of the Seventy-Two Earth Devil cannot be easily leaked.

If trouble arises, those lurking in the shadows can easily find out that Orson Martinez is still alive.

This is very disadvantageous.

But if things change a bit, killing to silence is no big deal either.

"I want to die, but can you kill me?" Julius Reed pointed at the village chief: "If you can kill me, I'd be very grateful."

"This young fellow, real interesting."

The village chief spoke while pretending to unconsciously step forward.

"A sneak attack?"

Julius Reed retreated his right foot.

Crunch!

A rolling pin burst from the ground!

Soaring directly into the sky!

If unprepared, Julius Reed would have been dead by now.

"Clever, very clever." The village chief's face sank, lowering his voice, "Take him down."

Those villagers wielding wooden sticks, chopping boards, as well as forks and shovels, slowly walked towards Julius Reed.

Their steps are slow, yet steady.

Swish!

The steel fork stabbed forth!

The chopping board also greeted him head-on!

These people's movements appear slow, but in Julius Reed's eyes, they are incredibly fast!

"So that's how it is."

Julius Reed disappeared from his place, retreating tens of meters in a row, noticing some clues.

No wonder during the battle at the tavern, these seemingly slow villagers could uniformly kill the Undead Tribe members without being touched by them.

This is Shadow Instant!

The villagers aren't just moving but moving at high speed!

Extremely fast!

Yet to the human eye, it seems their actions are slow.

When truly fighting, these people can instantly dodge attacks, but visually, it's as though the Undead Tribe's attack was misplaced.

"Are Orson Martinez's employees this weak?"

As Julius Reed finished speaking, the village chief's face slightly changed.

But he didn't speak.

Such detail naturally caught Julius Reed's attention.

Indeed!

They are Orson Martinez's people!

Merely shrewd, staying calm in such times.

"Though Shadow Instant is hard to approach closely, it has its weaknesses." Julius Reed smiled faintly, "Today, I'll give you all a lesson!"

Voom!

The moment he finished speaking!

He soared into the air!

The Yin-Yang sword in his hand swung directly!

Sky filled with residual shadows!

This is the rapid movement of the sword blade, causing an illusion to the eye.

Clang!

A loud crash.

The shovel was knocked away!

Julius Reed landed in front of them, grabbing with his right hand in the air!

Thud!

The Nine Heavens Thorn pierced through several Earth Devils' bodies, returning to the sword blade.

The villagers crumbled into several pieces in an instant, scattering on the ground.

Shadow Instant kept moving, causing the bodies to burst apart as soon as they were separated.

"Impressive tricks!" The village chief squinted, "Watch out for his hidden weapon!"

Whoosh!

The Earth Devils quickly formed a formation!

This is a defensive formation.

"Relay to Orson Martinez, his crafting platform, I'll take it. In three days, this place will be ruins!"

Julius Reed didn't want to continue entangling; what he needs most now is to rid himself of this sword and the person behind it!

Swoosh!

Julius Reed flung his long robe!

Countless black dots, like rain, flew towards the Earth Devils' formation!

"What is this?" A villager looked up, puzzled.

"Can't see clearly, but it should be hidden weapons."

"With such slow speed, such small things, undermines us too much."

"Don't underestimate!"

The village chief softly warned, watching Julius Reed and the sky.

He wanted to determine if this was a blind tactic.

If it were a trick to confuse them, wouldn't they have fallen for it?

"I will make sure to relay my message!"

After saying that, Julius Reed sidestepped quickly.

Vanished directly.

Ran away?

Earth Devils were puzzled.

Came fiercely, tossing out a bunch of stuff; they assumed it was hidden weapons.

Snap.

A villager caught the item in his hand. "What's this?"

They examined closely, but seemed to have never seen it before.

Over the years, Earth Devils have stayed in the village; without Pranay Martinez's orders, they wouldn't leave.

Information was relatively closed off.

"Quick, throw them away, those are poison eggs!"

The village chief's pupils shrank suddenly!

All over like rain falling!

How many poison eggs does this fellow carry on him!

Boom!

Loud bangs echoed in Moon's Manor.

Flames burst forth, numerous structures collapsed.

Amidst the loud crashing.

The originally dead Lin Slash shockingly stood up, his eyes glowing red.

He touched his wound, muttering to himself: "If it weren't for the Mountain Lord transforming me, I'd likely be a dried corpse by now."
