Legend of Dragon Son-in-law

Chapter 1895: Entering the Coffin

Originally, Darrell Percival, who had already walked near the funeral hall, chose to step back after hearing Whitaker Dog's voice.

It seemed he hadn't been discovered.

The funeral hall was deathly silent.

Looking at the beaten corpse of his son, Darrell Percival's heart was burning with anger.

But now, it seemed the opponent was very strong.

Rationality overcame impulse.

Darrell Percival quietly retreated and quickly ran to his resting room.

As soon as he returned to the room, the first thing he did was pick up the phone and call Moon Manor.

This city was the city of Levin Lake.

The Sword Cultivators were a power that made people tremble with fear.

The legend of striking down eighteen kings in one night was already deeply rooted in everyone's hearts.

Someone causing trouble, someone killing at Moon Manor, Levin Lake couldn't ignore it!

However, what made Darrell Percival despair.

The call didn't go through.

The landline's wire seemed to be cut.

He took out his mobile phone, and it also had no signal!

They were actually jammed!

They were cut off from the outside world!

Darrell Percival broke out in a cold sweat!

Recalling the tragic scene in the funeral hall...

Could the Funeral Alliance dare to slaughter people brazenly on Moon Manor's property?

That would be a slap in the face for Levin Lake!

Once word got out, the terrifying legend of Moon Manor would become a joke!

Outsiders would no longer think of it as a city with masters sitting in it.

But suddenly!

Darrell Percival's body trembled!

His shoulder was grasped by a hand.

During the entire process, he didn't notice a single sound!

The person behind him seemed to appear out of nowhere!

Darrell Percival glanced out of the corner of his eye!

It was a hand covered in blood!

His shoulder suddenly felt heavy!

His elbow jabbed backward!

Whish!

A loud crash!

Darrell Percival lost his balance and fell straight forward, landing on the ground.

Taking advantage of this gap, he pulled out the sword from the wall.

Turning around!

He saw a bald head!

Dark skin, a smile that sent chills!

"Who are you!"

Darrell Percival gripped the cold sword with both hands, his eyes fixed on Whitaker Dog.

The opponent's smile was too terrifying!

"Who am I?" Whitaker Dog licked the blood-stained hand and chuckled, "I'm here to collect money. Boss Percival, someone died in your family, how can you not bear to spend money?"

"Money?"

Darrell Percival let out a long breath, tentatively asking, "You want money, not my life?"

Money, he had plenty of.

These years of running the martial arts school had earned him quite a bit.

If money could solve it, it wouldn't be a problem at all.

Seeing the other party's aggressive stance, he was truly frightened.

He thought this setup was aiming for his life.

"Our Funeral Alliance does business for money, why would we want your life? Is your life worth money?"

Whitaker Dog clapped his hands, "But in the day, Boss Percival seemed to have hit one of our regional managers. To be honest, I've come a long way, surely the travel expenses should be reimbursed?"

After Whitaker Dog finished speaking, he took two steps forward.

Darrell Percival tightened his grip on the sword but did not make a move, he was more inclined to believe Whitaker Dog's words.

They're after money.

Not after life!

"The matter of the day was an accident. My son was harmed, in a very bad mood, and the servant didn't know the rules, injuring your brother." Darrell Percival was a businessman, immediately giving Whitaker Dog enough face, lowering his own stance.

"For this matter, I apologize to you and your brothers. As for the funeral expenses, just name a price, I'll send someone to deliver it tomorrow."

After speaking, Darrell Percival watched Whitaker Dog closely, trying to judge his intent.

If this guy wanted to harm him, Darrell Percival wasn't one to be trifled with.

He'd directly use the sword to kill!

If they could negotiate, it would save a lot of trouble.

"Great! Boss Percival, you're straightforward!"

Whitaker Dog stepped back, clearing a path: "My brothers are all waiting in the funeral hall, would Boss Percival mind stepping out?"

"Alright!"

Darrell Percival cautiously walked past Whitaker Dog, alertly leaving the room.

Whitaker Dog also kept a certain distance, clasping his hands behind his back and following.

A road of hundreds of meters seemed very long.

Darrell Percival felt a sense of powerlessness inside.

He controlled one of the top martial arts schools in Moon Manor, yet inside the manor, he was attacked, unable to fight back.

During the short journey, Darrell Percival had a bold idea.

With such a big commotion, the Sword Cultivators must have heard about it.

As long as the Manor Owner rushed over to support, could they eliminate this organization with inside-out collaboration?

He was angry, unwilling.

But now, there wasn't much he could do.

Those martial masters of his were like useless, too scared to resist.

So much money spent every day, yet against a problem, not one of these martial masters could come forward to help him.

The seemingly impregnable line of defense crumbled like a paper tiger.

Finally.

Darrell Percival chose to surrender.

It's just spending some money. Now money to him was the most useless thing.

The Sword Cultivators hadn't come, which was completely abnormal.

There were only two possibilities.

Either the Sword Cultivators were eliminated, or the Manor Owner didn't dare provoke these people.

Either way, Darrell Percival choosing to resist was the most risky way.

It was better to lose money and avoid disaster, get through tonight first.

Tomorrow, see what the Manor Owner would have to say.

Arriving at the funeral hall, Darrell Percival thoroughly gave up the idea of resistance.

The waste in front of him squatted on the ground, heads in hands, completely without signs of fighting.

Several bodies lay on the ground.

They were killed by dark weapon traps.

Martial masters were just making money, not worth risking their lives.

In such a situation, after receiving the opponent's no-kill promise, they immediately chose to surrender.

"Who hit you during the day?" Whitaker Dog walked to the martial master squatting on the ground and pointed at a man in plain clothes.

"Him." The plain-clothed man smiled and came before the martial master, squatting down. "Hit me."

The martial master remained silent, directly kneeling on the ground.

He felt truly unlucky.

He originally thought of showing off during the day to gain Darrell Percival's appreciation, taking over the position of the sixth son of Yorktown Family as the deputy chief instructor.

But unexpectedly, trouble landed on him!

"I said before, this set of eighteen coffins, one is certainly yours!" The plain-clothed man stood up, speaking coldly: "Put him in! I'll cover his funeral expenses!"

As soon as the words fell, several men in mourning clothes walked to the martial master and carried him up.

"No! I'm sorry! I apologize, I was blind..." The martial master, knowing it was hopeless, immediately looked behind him at Darrell Percival: "Boss Percival, please save me!"

Save?

Darrell Percival wished he could kill this bastard himself!

Without him, how would the Funeral Alliance have come looking for him?

Whish!

The martial master was thrown into the coffin, and the heavy coffin lid was directly closed.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

Several big nails were driven in directly!

This was going to be a live burial!

Waiting to die inside the coffin was the most painful thing.

Whish!

Whitaker Dog stepped on the coffin with one foot, eyes staring at Darrell Percival: "Boss Percival, there are seventeen more coffins. What do you think we should do?"

"This..." Darrell Percival's scalp tingled, not knowing what to say.

The rest of the martial masters were even more scared to death.

Who knew if one of those seventeen coffins would hold them?
