Legend of Dragon Son-in-law

Chapter 1816: Taoist

A helicopter skimmed across the sky and landed on the plain.

From the helicopter, two young Taoist priests stepped down.

"Junior brother, you're such a lazy donkey. We just flew over from the East Sea, and you already need to pee?"

The slightly older Taoist shook his head and patted the younger one. "Our master is in a hurry; you should learn to be more alert from your senior brother."

Having said that, the Taoist unzipped his pants and started peeing against a tree.

The younger Taoist also unzipped but barely pretended, not actually peeing.

"Hey! Junior brother, weren't you the one clamoring to come down for the toilet, and now you don't need to? Let me tell you, we're just a few hundred miles from the Black Pine League, and we'll be there in an hour. Don't cry out for the toilet again during that hour!" The older Taoist said, smacking the younger one on the head: "Stop making a fuss! Why yell if you don't need to pee!"

With those words.

An old Taoist stepped down from the helicopter.

The old Taoist looked around and suddenly said, "There's danger around here; stay put and don't move!"

"Master, danger? Where's the danger?" The older Taoist immediately drew his longsword and looked around warily.

"Master, if you get hurt on the road, remember to use tissues to stop the bleeding." The younger Taoist, not only unperturbed but rather calm, took out a packet of tissues from his pocket, handing it to the old Taoist: "This was purchased from someone else for a price, they say it's Demarco Mount's diamond tissue."

As soon as the younger Taoist finished speaking, the older one smacked him on the head again: "Aiden, is that any way to talk? What kind of person do you take Master for, getting hurt?"

Slap!

After saying that, he snatched the toilet paper.

Not noticing the old Taoist's face turning a shade darker.

"Master, let me go with you!" The older Taoist pounded his chest: "No matter what danger we encounter, I'm willing to advance and retreat with you!"

The old Taoist's face became even more stern.

"No need, I can go myself. Uh... Aiden's right, just in case, that paper might come in handy." The old Taoist reached for the paper, only to have it tossed away by the older Taoist.

"With me here, how could it fall upon you to bleed?"

Seeing the paper flung away, the old Taoist's face turned sullen.

Uncomfortable to the core.

"What's that smell?" The older Taoist sniffed, somewhat nauseated: "In the wild, it smells like a weasel fart, why is it so stinky!"

"It's me, it was me." The younger Taoist scratched his head, a bit embarrassed: "Sorry, senior brother."

The old Taoist, whose face had been a bit pale, finally exhaled upon hearing this.

"What have you been eating, brat, to fart so stinky! Did you sneak some good stuff? If you dare fart, and such a stinky fart again, believe me, I'll plug you with a stick!"

The older Taoist said, eagerly stepping up to the old Taoist: "Master..."

"Scram!"

Bang!

The old Taoist kicked him, sending him flying over ten meters away.

Then, he picked up the paper on the ground and disappeared from sight.

"Ouch!" The older Taoist got up, aching all over, with a sense of bewilderment.

"Junior brother, what's wrong with Master?" He couldn't understand it.

He showed such loyalty, how did he end up getting beaten by Master?

"I have no idea." The younger Taoist took out an apple and munched on it slowly.

He wouldn't tell that the old Taoist couldn't hold it on the helicopter.

Probably ate some not-so-fresh seafood from the East Sea.

Soon, the old Taoist returned.

Relieved.

But just then, a young man walked over from a distance.

The young man strolled across the wilderness at a leisurely pace.

But it seemed he was heading towards them.

"Hey kid, get lost, our helicopter doesn't take passengers." The older Taoist yelled.

He was bottling up a bellyful of anger with nowhere to vent; seeing someone seemingly trying to hitch a ride on their helicopter, he couldn't help but curse.

Here, in the middle of nowhere, the other must be trying to bum a ride.

"What did you say?" Julius Reed was merely passing by, unexpectedly cursed for no reason.

The martial artists from Boulevard were scared stiff, resolutely unwilling to walk up front.

Julius Reed could only go ahead to scout the way alone.

"I said, don't think about hitching a ride on our helicopter." The middle-aged Taoist directed all his frustrations towards Julius Reed and spat on the ground: "Get lost!"

"Which eye of yours saw me wanting to hitch your helicopter?" Julius Reed walked up to the three, frowning.

"In the middle of nowhere, aren't you here to bum a ride?" The middle-aged Taoist's tone wasn't good, even carrying a hint of disdain.

Hypocritical, too hypocritical.

Being rejected, feeling embarrassed?

"Why would I need this heap of junk to fly?" Julius Reed pointed at the helicopter, shaking his head.

"Could it be you can fly yourself?" The Taoist laughed, looking back to his master and junior brother: "Did you hear that, he says he can fly! If he can fly, I'll eat shit standing on my head!"

"A mile ahead, there's some hot." Aiden pointed in the master's returning direction, calmly speaking.

Even the old Taoist's gaze was somewhat peculiar.

"What's happening?" The Taoist turned back, suddenly discovering the young man who had been standing there was flying!

The sword in the boy's hand, like a propeller!

This is Eagle Vein's treasure!

A sword that can fly!

"Hey kid, keep your word." Julius Reed put away his sword and landed on the ground.

"You..." The Taoist was a bit embarrassed, but with his master standing behind him, there was no way he'd back down. "Get lost! Get far away!"

"You want me to get lost?"

Julius Reed drew out Yin-Yang, suddenly hurling it!

Boom!

The helicopter in the distance exploded instantly!

Soon after, he reached out to grab, and Yin-Yang returned to his hand unscathed.

The Taoist was stunned.

Even forgot to curse.

"Fellow Taoist, you have strong skills. My disciple was at fault first, but you blew up my helicopter—" The old Taoist pointed at the helicopter, expressionless: "There has to be an explanation."

"You'll have to ask my sword first." Julius Reed swiftly slashed out a strike!

"Activate the formation!"

The old Taoist suddenly stepped forward!

A formation appeared on the flat ground!

Like a great bell, enclosing them inside!

Clang!

The sword blade struck the formation, quickly rebounding.

"Young man, do you know who my master is? This Golden Bell Formation is impervious to blades and bullets! Even a cannon might not..."

The middle-aged Taoist hadn't finished his words when the Dragon King Ring on Julius Reed's hand began to glow red!

The pattern on the Yin-Yang sword hilt started spinning rapidly!

The entire sword seemed to blaze with flames!

"Break!"

Julius Reed lunged!

Sword out!

Relentlessly!

The formation shattered instantly!

The tip of the sword.

Pierced through the middle-aged Taoist's chest!

Penetrated completely.

"Did you set up the Ten Hall Yama in the Black Pine League?" Julius Reed withdrew his longsword, calmly looking at the old Taoist and asking.
