"They won't just see it as madness," Rowan suddenly spoke up with a serious expression. "They'll consider it a ploy."
Everyone turned toward him as he continued.
"Think about it. Among the five kingdoms, only three share somewhat cordial relationships. But even then, each one is deeply protective of their own territory. And Velkar and Drahzul? They don't even maintain basic diplomatic ties with us."
He paused, letting his words sink in before adding, "The more dungeons a kingdom clears, the more its territory expands. Telling them to stop clearing dungeons is the same as asking them to stop growing. Do you really think they'll ever listen to that?"
The atmosphere in the hall grew heavier.
Charles and Robert exchanged glances. Neither spoke, but both understood Rowan's point all too well. They had come here as friends of Noah Starwind, but their homeland, the kingdom of Caelondor, wouldn't simply halt dungeon raids because of friendly relations.
"We know what we saw," Robert muttered. "But how do we convince the rest of the world to believe it too?"
Everyone fell into deep thought after hearing Rowan's words.
But suddenly, as if struck by the same thought, both Ali and John straightened up.
"Showdown of Prowess," they said at the exact same moment.
Noah's eyes lit up as he caught on quickly. "Yes. That's a good idea. If Logan enters the competition and becomes the champion, then none of the other kingdoms will have any choice but to acknowledge him."
"Showdown of Prowess?!" Rowan, meanwhile, narrowed his eyes in confusion. "Isn't that the tournament between elite mages under S-Class level from all five kingdoms? How is Logan supposed to become the champion in that?"
Daliah looked just as puzzled.
But Ali Arkman let out a light chuckle. "Well, Prince… maybe you're not aware, but Logan isn't just capable of winning that tournament. I honestly believe that even if it were a tournament between S-Class fighters, Logan would still win." He smiled, "and that too, without casting a single magic spell."
"What?!" Both Rowan and Daliah gasped, turning to Logan in disbelief.
Logan scratched his head with a sheepish grin, a little embarrassed at the sudden attention.
The others, however, weren't as shocked as Rowan and Daliah.
After all, many of them had witnessed Logan's feats firsthand.... His battle with the wyvern two years ago, the clash against Raphael, and most recently, the duel with Noah just yesterday…
Almost everyone present had seen at least one of those moments. Each was enough to leave a lasting impression, and together, they had already painted a clear picture of Logan's terrifying potential.
Even Charles, who had been skeptical about Logan's battle prowess earlier, looked completely convinced now. His earlier doubts had faded, replaced by silent awe.
And Rudeous, who sat silently among them, wasn't surprised either.
His mood had been a little off ever since the incident involving Mirena, something he still hadn't fully come to terms with. Although he hadn't seen any of Logan's three epic battles, he understood better than anyone that Logan couldn't be measured using normal standards.
After all, he had watched his son grow from birth, a growth that defied every natural law he knew.
So only Rowan and Daliah were truly out of touch.
Rowan, despite knowing Logan was extraordinary, still found it hard to accept that someone could reach the level of challenging an S-Class hunter in just three years.
Daliah was no different. The information was simply too much, too fast.
They both struggled to digest what they had just heard.
Just then, Lilith suddenly spoke up.
"Well... We all know Logan is strong. But.... Saying he could defeat an S-Class hunter without using magic feels a bit overstretched, don't you think, Guildmaster?"
Noah inwardly cursed and let out a subtle sigh. He then opened his mouth, ready to explain but Ali beat him to it with a grin.
"Well, your father would be the best one to answer that," Ali said, chuckling.
Lilith raised an eyebrow. "My father?" she repeated, surprised. "Why would he know better?"
"Because he experienced it firsthand," Ali replied proudly. "He went all out against Logan yesterday. And Logan… he fought back without using any magic. He relied solely on this mysterious power he just told us about. Cultivation technique and internal energy staff."
A few audible gasps echoed around the room.
After hearing Logan's explanations, most had already started to believe his words. But not everyone present had been there yesterday to witness the fight.
So while many now accepted the idea of the cultivation technique, they still hadn't grasped the extent of its power.
People like John William and members of Gideon's party stared with wide eyes. Until now, they had thought Logan's strength was impressive... but perhaps it was enhanced by this new method they didn't fully understand. Maybe the technique gave him an edge alongside magic, they figured.
But to go toe-to-toe with Noah, one of the top three S-Class hunters in the entire kingdom without using magic at all?
That changed everything.
If Logan could already match an S-Class purely through cultivation, then…
What would happen when he eventually did combine it with magic?
The thought left them reeling. They couldn't help but wonder...
Where did Logan's true power even stand now?
"I wish we could see someone else using this power though," Ali said thoughtfully. "Then we could fully confirm it for ourselves."
And this time, it was Rowan's turn to shock everyone.
"If that's what you want," he said with a small smile, "then maybe Daliah and I can help."
All eyes turned to him in surprise as he glanced toward Logan.
"What do you say, Logan? Don't you want to see how far your students have come?"
"What?! You know this technique too?"
Several voices blurted out at once, stunned.
Ali Arkman raised an eyebrow, clearly caught off guard.
"Logan… you've already taught someone the technique? And from the way the prince is talking, it sounds like you taught them quite a while ago." His tone carried a playful edge, half surprised, half accusing.
