Reborn As The Minor Villain In A Romance Fantasy Novel

Chapter 114: Ragebaiting

Lucius walked out of the dressing room with a sigh, adjusting the cuffs of his black suit as if nothing unusual had happened.

Behind him, Alexia emerged from the room as well with both hands full, she was carrying branded bags that held the luxury fits they had been given.

On the outside, she looked calm.

But on the inside? She was in shambles.

'I feel so refreshed…' she thought, biting down on her lip as her thighs brushed together.

She was feeling too refreshed in fact but the cost of it… every single movement made her shiver.

The problem was simple: she wasn't wearing panties anymore.

Lucius had made sure of that.

She could still feel her bare folds brushing against the inside of her skirt, the sticky moisture reminding her of what had just happened in that room.

If she thought of it too much… his fingers, his voice, and the way he had called her a good girl, her legs might tremble enough to give her away.

Lucius glanced at her out of the corner of his eye. "Come on, let's go, perverted woman, before you cum up a storm right in the hallway."

Her face flared pink instantly, and she bit her lip hard enough to leave a faint mark.

She wanted to protest but she knew he'd only tease her more.

He would never let her win.

So she hurried forward to walk beside him, her voice dropping to a whisper.

"So, Boss… about their cameras and the door." She swallowed, her nerves buzzing.

Some of the employees were still around, though they were fewer now, and she felt their eyes on her like needles. "Did they… hear or see me?"

"Yes, they did," Lucius said without pause, his tone maddeningly straight.

Her blood drained.

'They saw? They heard me like that?'

Her chest squeezed with embarrassment, her hands tightening on the bags until the straps dug into her skin.

She wanted to curl up into herself but he spoke again.

"Well correction." He smirked. "I used space to block the sounds and the cameras. I should be the only one who heard those cute little moans."

Her knees almost buckled.

"How do you say that with a straight face?" she hissed, her cheeks burning.

Didn't he feel shame?

Didn't he feel anything?

"It's in the blood," Lucius replied without missing a step.

Since he started living in a romance-fantasy novel, cringe became the new regular.

It was either to adapt or die of cringe and though he wasn't proud of it… He could speak cringe with a straight face.

Alexia let out a strangled sound and looked away, her face practically steaming.

They reached the ground floor, where the receptionist and the store manager were waiting.

The manager's smile was a bit too wide, his posture a little too eager like a man desperate to curry favor, maybe because he was.

"Thank you again for today, Mr. Lucius," he said warmly, reaching out to shake his hand.

Lucius clasped it.

"We'll be using all the good shots you gave us," the manager continued with a proud smile. "You should see them featured on Stitch later today."

"I see…" Lucius drawled, then grinned slyly. "Oh, and make sure to put my face on some merch. I think they'll sell just fine."

The real reason? He just wanted his own face on a shirt.

Who didn't? Well except they were ugly.

The manager chuckled nervously, bobbing his head.

"Of course, Mr. Lucius." He gave Alexia a polite nod before stepping aside to clear the way.

The glass doors slid open, and Lucius and Alexia walked out together.

Lucius adjusted his cuffs again, speaking casually. "How many appointments left for today?"

Alexia straightened, clutching the bags tighter.

"Boss, we have three more. The next one is with a car company. They want you to test drive their new electronic luxury car. They'll cue us on the features once we arrive."

Lucius arched a brow, he was intrigued.

A new car, huh?

Being famous had its perks.

Free clothes… now free cars?

The world bent backward for him, and he couldn't say he hated it.

"Alright then," he said with a nod. "Let's get there."

But the words had barely left his mouth before the world shifted.

BOOM!

A thunderous sound cracked through the air, echoing across the street.

Something streaked down from above, a black blur cutting through the sky like a missile.

Its target was him.

Lucius smirked as if he'd been waiting for it.

The incoming object slammed into his Infinity barrier with a shriek of metal and sparks before rebounding violently, spinning backward through the air like a kicked toy.

Alexia gasped, her eyes wide. "Boss! What is that?!"

Her chest tightened… was it an assassin? A rogue? Some new tech weapon?

Lucius tilted his head, watching the thing stabilize midair.

It wasn't just a machine. It was humanoid, armored in dark plating, its eyes glowing red.

"Just an annoying drone," Lucius said lazily. "Get in the car."

She hesitated, trembling, but his tone left no room for argument.

"Y-Yes, Boss." Clutching the bags, she scurried toward the limousine, throwing the doors open and shoving the merchandise inside before slipping in after them.

Lucius rose into the air.

His coat fluttered and his eyes were fixed on the machine with predatory amusement.

The drone charged as it's hands began shifting into weapons.

But he was already there before it could fire. His hand shot out, clamping around its head with iron grip.

"I really expected you to come a lot sooner," Lucius said, his smirk widening.

This wasn't for the drone however, This was for the man behind it.

"Luke Keller," Lucius drawled, squeezing until the plating began to crack, "you didn't think you could just sit there and watch me fool around with Luna, did you? Hell no."

The drone struggled but it was of no use, Lucius shook it once, casually, like a dog with a chew toy.

"You spent months piecing this together. Every little circuit, every wire. All that time, all that effort… just to end up here, in my hand." He said "Come on man, How pathetic is that?"

He leaned closer, making sure that the man could see him through it's eyes. "You want to stop me? Then come yourself. Because if this is the best you've got—"

His grip tightened, the metal screaming in protest.

"—don't bother making another one."

CRUNCH!

The drone's head collapsed under his hand, sparks bursting out in a shower.

Its body convulsed once, twice, before falling limp. Lucius held it for a moment longer, then tossed the ruined machine aside like trash.

"Better luck next time, Keller," he murmured, dusting his hands off as he drifted back toward the limousine.

Oh how good did it feel to ragebait someone's big brother.

"So this is the car…" Lucius said.

He stood inside the car dealership, tall glass windows letting sunlight stream across the polished floor.

The vehicle before him rested on a small platform, its sleek metallic body reflecting the light like liquid silver.

Every bit of it's design screamed luxury.

The cameras were already being set up; they wanted clean promotional shots of him inside the car, as well as a short video of him driving it down their private track.

However he was just admiring the craftmanship, it was a beautiful car.

The dealership's owner stepped forward with a proud smile.

She was a striking woman, though Lucius immediately raised a brow at her choice of outfit.

A revealing shirt cut low across her chest, paired with shorts that left little to the imagination.

She was clearly past her mid-thirties, though she carried herself with confidence, swaying her hips deliberately as if she were the one being sold rather than the car.

'Why the hell is a woman over thirty dressed like that in her own dealership?' Lucius mused. 'Does she think this is part of the marketing?'

But his attention didn't stay on her for long.

The car was what mattered.

"Yes, that's my baby," the woman said proudly, patting the trunk with almost motherly affection. "We call her the Tempest X7. Fully electric, but with power that could make even combustion engines jealous. She seats four in a custom leather interior stitched by hand, imported straight from Dwarves artisans. Top speed hits 280 kilometers per hour, and she can go from zero to a hundred in just under 2.9 seconds. Horsepower? Seven hundred and eighty. And despite all that muscle, she runs smooth and silent with barely a whisper on the road."

She winked at Lucius, clearly trying to impress not just with the specs, but with herself. "What do you think? Can you drive her?"

He placed a hand on the trunk, running his palm over the polished surface.

"I certainly will," he said smoothly. His eyes trailed along the car's elegant curves, then back to the woman. "She's really a beauty."

From the side, Alexia shifted slightly, holding her clipboard.

She was glaring daggers at the dealership owner's revealing clothes, though she kept silent.

Still, her clenched jaw and narrowed eyes made it obvious… she didn't appreciate how this woman was looking at Lucius.

The woman didn't seem to notice or perhaps she didn't care.

She stepped closer, brushing her hand across the hood as if showing him how to touch it.

"Good. But before you start, you'll need to change into our track suit. It's part of the contract. We want our racers—" she paused, flashing him another too-bright smile, "—to look the part."

At her signal, two workers hurried forward, carrying a neatly folded black racer's uniform.

The outfit was sharp with silver accents and the dealership's emblem stitched on the chest.

Lucius eyed it once, then shrugged.

"Fair," he said simply.

At least the design was nice.
