Dark Dragon: The Summoned Hero Is A Villain

Chapter 164: Who The Hell Are You?

There was a collective gasp from everyone within earshot, as if Noah had somehow committed a crime by not knowing who he had bumped into.

Even the guy that had asked him stammered, at a loss for words. "Y— You don't know?"

Noah glanced at the girl, finally taking in her appearance.

She was tall for a lady, with grey air, and golden eyes similar to Professor Cecilia's.

However, what made her stand out was her beauty. She looked like an angel, a soft, almost unnoticeable aura of radiance emanating from her.

But Noah, simply put, didn't give a fuck.

He raised a brow, tilting his head towards her.

"Should I know you?"

Before she could answer, the young man who had challenged Noah earlier spoke, his voice loud like he couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"Such disrespect!" He said, his purple eyes glowing. "Didn't they teach you manners in your home world?"

Noah glanced at the student, his lips quirking up in a smile. Now, he was amused. And he had to admit that his interest had been piqued.

"And you are?"

Like a switch had been flipped, the student puffed his chest up. "I am Frederick Ramsay the Third. Son of the First Premier of Camelot. You best show me some respect, hero!"

Noah chuckled, tilting his head. "Really? Show you some respect? Why should I? What have you done to deserve respect?"

Frederick opened and closed his mouth for a few seconds, eyes wide as if the question had short circuited his brain. It was likely no one had ever asked him that question before.

"I— I'm the heir of the First Premier!" He scrambled to say.

"Oh, so you mean that all your achievements came from your father?" Noah smirked. "Good to know."

"I'll have you know that—" Frederick started, his face reddening in anger, but was stopped by the lady's hand on his arm.

"It's okay, Fred." She said, her voice calm. "Let it go."

Then she turned to Noah, her eyes shining and a kind smile on her face. "Noah Webb, was it? I apologize for Fred's behaviour. He's just been on edge lately due to the death of our upperclassman."

"I see." Noah stared at her intently. They were on edge because of Galhad's death? He found that hard to believe.

They simply didn't seem like people who had time to even think about anyone but themselves.

And this lady. Her kindness. He just couldn't trust it.

"Thank you for your understanding," she smiled at him. Then she glanced at Frederick. "Let's go."

Just as they turned and were about to continue on their way, Noah's voice rang out.

"Hold it!"

Another collective gasp filled the air, every onlooker shocked by Noah's insolence.

The lady and Frederick turned around, a frown on the lady's face, but Frederick instantly went red in anger, his mouth opening to say something.

Noah spoke before he could, waving the young man's words before he could even say them. "Shut the fuck up."

Frederick's mouth closed with a click, his eyes wide at the audacity.

Noah didn't pay him any mind, turning to the lady. "Don't you think that what you were about to do was pretty rude?"

The lady blinked, surprised. "What?"

"I was going on my merry way when we bumped into each other." Noah said. "But when I was about to continue on my way, you guys stopped me. Then you asked me a question, saying 'do I have any idea who I just bumped into?'"

The lady frowned at him. "And?"

"Don't you think it's pretty rude to stop me because I didn't know your identity, then leave without telling me?" he smirked. "You can't just pique my interest and then leave without satisfying it. That's like watching the latest Old Guard movie. An hour and a half of lazy build up and no payoff."

"What?" The lady asked, confused. "Old Guard? Movie? What's that?"

"Forget about that." Noah said, stepping close into the lady's personal space.

Frederick opened his mouth to say something, and without looking, Noah placed a hand on his shoulder and used Roar.

The sound waves sunk into Frederick's body, and he stumbled back, a wave of nausea gripping him.

He was a FF-rank mage, so the FFF-rank skill hadn't had much of an effect, but in that moment, it had kept him quiet.

Noah, who hadn't broken eye contact with the lady, leaned forward, till their noses were a few inches apart, forcing her to lean back a bit, her eyes widening in surprise.

"So, I'll ask one more time," he said, his voice low. "Who the hell are you?"

Taken off guard by his actions, she answered, blinking rapidly. "I— I'm Princess Ines. Daughter of the king of Camelot."

"Oh." Noah straightened, eyeing her. "I thought you were someone important."

An offended expression came upon her face and she took a half-step forward. "What do you mean—"

"Don't care." Noah said, turning away and heading deeper into the cafeteria. This time, no one stopped him.

Or rather, everyone was busy muttering, gossiping in excitement about what just happened. The infamous Noah Webb had just treated the only heir to the throne like she was unimportant.

It had never happened before. Not even once.

Noah didn't care that he was now the subject of gossip once more. He'd satisfied his curiosity and it hadn't even lived up to the hype.

Why had they stopped him just because she was the princess? Who cares?

If they were going by importance, then he was of a higher rank than she was. After all, he was the savior of Camelot. That was a position even higher than the king's.

He headed to get himself a tray, piling it high with breakfast, ignoring the murmurs around him. Then he found himself an empty table, taking his seat.

He tore a piece of bread, dipping it in the soup and throwing it in his mouth.

'Delicious.'

That was when the shadow fell over him.

He looked up, seeing the person that had just stopped in front of his table.

He exhaled in exasperation.

"What do you want?"
